After we finished eating the curry that Sara had made, we cleaned up together.

“I’m sorry for making you clean up.”

“It’s okay. You made it for us, so I can at least do this.”

I washed all the dishes and drained the water.

“Now, I’m going to rewrite the manuscript.”

“Got it. Please take it easy.”

“Yes.”

I opened my computer, hoping to fix what I had been instructed as soon as possible and saw an email.

Basically, Asagiri-san would communicate with me via e-mail about her work.

There was an attachment with a data file of what needed to be corrected in today’s meeting, and a request to call me when it was convenient for me.

“That’s a rare thing.”

With that thought in mind, I took out my phone and called Asagiri-san.

Asagiri-san picked up the phone with one call.

“Ah, hello.”

“This is Tojo. I called you when it said to call. Is now a good time?”

“Yes, it’s fine. I wanted to tell you in person, not by e-mail.”

Asagiri-san sounded cheerful.

“What’s going on?”

“Himuro-sensei replied that he would illustrate the cover for you.”

“Seriously!?”

I was surprised and happy at the same time.

“I’m serious. So, I’d like to make an announcement on our website and social networking sites, if that’s okay?”

“Of course. Please do.”

“I understand. You can also promote it as much as you want.”

" "

“Yes.”

After saying that much, she ended the call.

She said the announcement would be made tomorrow or later, and would contact me when the announcement was made.

“Now, let’s do this.”

I started to fix the points that were pointed out in the meeting today. It must have been about an hour since I started. I was about to finish.

“That’s about it, I guess.”

I said, and sent the revised manuscript to Asagiri-san.

Then she replied immediately and said she would check it right away.

The next day, I woke up to an email from Asagiri-san.

It said that the announcement would be posted simultaneously on the website and SNS this evening.

I replied that I agreed and got ready to leave for school.

That evening, My SNS alerts were buzzing.

Apparently, a publisher’s announcement had come in.

‘A sweet brother-sister romantic comedy by Tojo Rei, known for his Mahogaku title, announcing the release!’

This was the first time I had seen such a notice.

There was a lot of talk about the cover, which was also done by Mahogaku’s Himuro-san.

I @’d the post.

[This is my first published novel. Please wait with anticipation.]

I posted that on my SNS account.

–‘I’ll definitely buy it!’

–‘It’s a romantic comedy!’

–‘It’s not a fantasy.’

–‘I’m looking forward to it.’

These were some of the responses I received on my SNS.
