The manuscript was finished, and all I had to do was wait for Asagiri-san to check it. I felt like a weight had been lifted from my shoulders finally.

“Nii-San, are you finished with your work?”

Sara said as she took out a carton of juice from the kitchen refrigerator.

I don’t know how you don’t gain weight drinking all that sweet juice.

I thought, looking sideways at Sara’s beautiful, toned legs peeking out of her shorts.

“Yeah, pretty much. All that’s left is a few minor corrections, so yeah we’re almost done.”

I slumped down on the living room sofa.

“So you’re almost done with your work?”

“Yeah, I think so.”

Sara’s expression brightened.

“So, are you free this weekend?”

“Yeah, I’m free.”

I didn’t have any plans for the upcoming weekend, which I thought was a bit strange for a high school student; but sadly, no one asked me out.

“Then, let’s go eat something delicious!!’

Sara said as she giggled and came closer to me.

“O-Okay. Let’s go.”

“Hai, It’s a promise!”

Sara had a big smile on her face.

That smile was not fair.

If she smiled at me like that, the guys in my class would probably knock me out with a single blow.

I hope no weird bugs cling to Sara. (T/N: Bug=Guys)

Else, I would have to give such a person my Divine punishment!!

一A week went by surprisingly fast.

I thought it was Wednesday, but it turned out to be the weekend before I knew it.

“Are you ready, Nii-San?”

“Yeah, I’m ready.”

I put on wore white T-shirt and a black jacket.

“Let’s go then.”

Sara, on the other hand, was wearing a light pink fluffy dress and had a small white bag slung over her shoulder. I really believed she looked good no matter what she was wearing. Today, she had her silky black hair down.

She was so beautiful that even if she was my sister, I couldn’t help but admire her.

“Here we go.”

I followed Sara’s lead and left the house. We were heading for the train station, apparently. At the very least, we would be taking the train.

“Hey, where are we going today?”

I asked Sara, who was walking next to me.

“Shinjuku!!”

Sara said enthusiastically.

“Shinjuku, huh?”

Come to think of it, I hadn’t been to the beach in a long time. I wondered if this was also the result of living a life without going outside.

We took the train to Shinjuku. It would take about 30 minutes from here. It was a bit far.

“Where does Nii-San usually go to pass time?”

Sara, sitting next to me on the train, asked.

It was relatively late in the day, but we were able to find a decent seat on the train.

“I usually go to places like Ikebukuro.”

“Certainly, it’s close to home too!”

Ikebukuro was on the way to Shinjuku.

So, unless I had something to do in Shinjuku, I would do what I could in Ikebukuro. While we were talking about this, the train passed through Ikebukuro.

It would still take about ten minutes from here. But strangely enough, I was not bored. Time seemed shorter when talking with Sara.

The train’s announcement echoed through the cabin.
