I Became A System

As soon as they finally venture out of the cave, it took them an hour before finally going out. Still unaware of what to do, Verxal, the leader of the group was looking at the young lady who was peacefully sleeping.

Although she seems to be defenseless, it wasn't on the young lady's part, as since earlier, who wish to touch her receive an invisible impact on their crotches.

Ever since earlier, a person who takes advantage of her situation receives a throbbing pain in their crotch. Being nervous about it, they can't dare to tell it to their leader as it is an intolerable act, worst, they could be punished for it.

"This girl must have an invisible pet with her. How can we not know who hit our snakes."

"Shut up! You dare to complain despite doing immorality. You have the courage huh?"

"Tsk! I'm just stating it!"

"That's right, perhaps that's why she took the risk of draining her power."

"Maybe."

As the uniformed men converse with each other, Aaron was just flying around, listening to their conversation.

Inside his thoughts, he still can't believe the recklessness Ellena made. That wasn't supposed to happen when another variable exists for them to survive. He could just shake his head and just wait for her to wake up.

Even he is confident in protecting her from the malicious intent of these men, he is not confident that he can save her from monsters since monsters that appear in the area are way more than what he can handle.

If it's just a small kobold, perhaps he can protect her from kicking their eyes, however, if something like those monkeys, he could just pray for her safety.

"Prepare the vehicle," Verxal ordered after another group of people emerged from a distance.

When they moved through the woods, they finally met up with their carriages. They also seem to be trained to be guarding the vehicle.

Verxal once again ordered, "Go to that tribe then announce to them what happened. After that, report back to me."

The uniformed group of people bowed to him before leaving.

As they finally entered their personal vehicles, another man appeared before him.

"Young master, what about the lady who defeated the demon?"

"Take her in one of the vehicles, I will meet her after she wakes up."

As the man left the place, he immediately attended Ellena.

Verxal sighed. "Just who is that? She can't be reckless enough, then she managed to kill a demon by herself."

When one of his friends heard it, they started to express their opinions.

"Perhaps she's an adventurer too."

"Yup. Adventurer."

"Or maybe a member of a legion?"

"Yup. A legion."

"Tsk! Can you shut up?! That girl must be from a noble, she looks rich from her garments."

"Maybe… But we'll have to wait until she wakes up. Perhaps it will take a week since she drained her stamina."

Verxal who was just listening to them sighed again. Witnessing the mischievous personality of his friends, he smiled awkwardly.

"What do you think of what happened? Why is that demon calling that variant his Lady?" Verxal asked.

Then, opinions started to emerge again.

"Maybe that's not a variant, but a demon after all."

"Nah… Demons are highly intelligent, and from what that variant acts, it doesn't fit the description of demons."

"But we can't conclude it yet. We just know a little about them. At the HQ, they protect the information about it to not cause a panic."

"That's right. Even though there are different races, who would think another race from appearing warps would cause good to us? Of course, they would think that they're just the same as the monsters."

Finally, Verxal talked. "Perhaps that variant was a pet. We all know that pets are considered members of a family. If that's the case, maybe that demon was just a servant."

"Hm… You are reasonable there."

"I also thought of that, you just came first."

"Tsk. Stupid."

Meanwhile, in the carriage that Ellena uses, a lady in a doctor apprentice outfit assisted her to not fall from the shaky movement of the vehicle.

She appears to be also at the same age as her. Looking at Ellena with pity, she breathed out. "What a brave lady. I hope I can just be like her…"

While thinking of something, the apprentice can just sigh looking at Ellena. Though she feels admiration towards her, she can't remove the fact that she became reckless.

"But maybe if the young master helped her, she can remain conscious after a fight."

Not knowing who is Ellena, the apprentice just assumed that she was one of the mercenaries. Although they looked organized, they are mercenaries from the company of their young master.

Aaron above just sighed again.

"She must learn how not to be too reckless. Or maybe we have to grind from collecting points to have her the Stamina Pool ability. But even with that, we manage to have a free ride to a city."

Aaron waited for 3 days until they finally left the rainforest.

After the rainforest, a dry road appeared before him. He was just flying over the carriage to entertain himself, but alas, it wasn't enough.

However, right now, a sign of hope emerged as they finally went out of the rainforest. Moreover, after getting into a city, he read the signboard above the gate to know the place.

"Coincidentally, we are heading to Phlabian City and this city is the one we are heading to. Talking about some luck in unfortunate encounters."

Aaron just can't help but be wordy to keep his mind sane. Although he experiences 16 years of being alone from observing Ellena, having a brain changes it as he has to watch on his mental health.

Moments later, they finally arrived at the crowded entrance. When the people around saw the insignia of the carriage, they open up the way to let them in immediately.

As Aaron feel something interesting, he left Ellena's side to inspect the geography.. Knowing that this will be their first stop as a mysterious adventurer for his plan of collecting points from strangers.
