Chapter 57: Corruption

The truck came to a huge metallic castle and stopped. Lin Yun raised his head and looked up at the magnificent military building in shock.

The regular hexagonal metal fence was more than ten-stories-high and was covered with blast-holes. On each corner of the hexagon, there was a minaret constantly rotating. Lin Yun knew that this was the high-end defensive weapon of the Human Race, the Light Prism.

The captain completed the registration at the sentry office and drove the truck slowly into the human base. The scene inside the base gradually appeared in front of Lin Yun.

The building materials in the base were all metal. If Lin Yun didn’t guess wrongly, these metals should be hard titanium alloys. The atmosphere in the base was tense. Everyone was busy and walking in a hurry. No one seemed to be at ease.

“We’re here. This is the place to exchange Contribution Points.”

Lin Yun got off the truck and followed the captain to a square. A young man wearing black-framed glasses and white military uniform sat on a metal chair and played with his cell phone.

“Sir Wang Cheng, this is some of the loot seized by our team. I want to exchange for Contribution Points,” the captain said calmly.

After he said that, he turned his attention to the phone again.
