The electronic voice read out a series of notifications, confusing Lin Yun’s thoughts. He ignored the unknown “upgrade” and “attributes” for now. Instead, he focused on one strong thought. “Did I pass that Skynet One-Star Qualification Assessment which I’ve failed for years, just like that?”

Lin Yun was afraid that he was only dreaming. He was afraid of waking up to discover himself lying on the hospital bed, with the expel notice from Clearwater College in his hands.

However, how could a dream be so realistic? Lin Yun suppressed the endless excitement and tension in his heart as he said with a trembling voice, “Log into the Skynet.”

“Logging on the Skynet. Please wait,” the electronic voice suddenly said.

This emotionless electronic voice made Lin Yun overjoyed.

“What did you say? You allowed a student to cause such great harm to my son. Yet, you still doubt my son’s character? None of you can go in today and disturb my son!” Lin Tianhao roared. Lin Yun could feel his rage even across the door.

“Mister Lin. According to what I know, your son’s Spiritual Strength has never reached Level 1. Are you not suspicious of him passing the entrance exam this time and making it into the special class? We’re here today to check that he deserves to be a student. If he’s wrongly accused, we will punish the student who harmed him. However, if he cheated, he will be expelled,” a man said calmly.

Then, he handed the white stone to Lin Yun and said expressionlessly, “Now, inject your Spiritual Strength into this latest Spiritual Detector.”

Lin Yun took the rock and comforted the nervous Lin Tianhao. “Dad, it’s okay. Don’t worry.” As he said that, he sent his newly acquired Spiritual Strength into the rock.

As Lin Yun injected his Spiritual Strength, the stone glowed a faint white color. Finally, an electronic voice was heard:

“Spiritual Strength, Level 1.”

The young man in black-framed glasses took the stone back and said calmly while pointing at his glasses, “Mister Lin, do not worry. We have confirmed that your son has been falsely accused. The entire testing process today has been recorded by this camera installed on my glass frame. The results of the retest and the punishment for Song Junming will soon be announced on the Clearwater College official website.
