I have a Synthesizer

#50 - The elves in the tree

Lilith held the black scythe, her body suspended in the air.

"Darkness Style - Ghost Slash."

A black flash, and the scythe blade easily pierced through the rough, hard tree trunk. A tree that would take two or three people to encircle was severed by Lilith's single blow.

Lilith didn't forget to remind Klein.

"Fireball."

"Got it."

Just as Klein released a Hellfire Ball to finish the job, the severed tree trunk on the ground stood up.

At the point where Lilith had cut it in half, countless roots supported the tree trunk, extending towards the ground and transforming into leg-like structures.

Countless vines and branches intertwined, like dozens of arms. The large tree where they had been resting had now transformed into a standing Treant.

"Second-order creature, be careful."

Lilith held her scythe, ready to strike.

"Roar!"

The roar came from the Treant's mouth, accompanied by an unbearable stench.

It was a strong smell of rotten corpses. This Treant had probably killed countless creatures in the vicinity.

"Spirit Summoning!"

The gate to the Necrorealm was opened by Klein, and after summoning four Skeleton Soldiers, Klein immediately drank a bottle of mana potion.

Surging energy flowed from his abdomen throughout his body, and the energy produced by the potion quickly replenished his depleted mana.

Having reached the first order, the power of his magic had greatly increased. The entry-level ordinary skeletons had also become first-order Skeleton Warriors.

However, Klein hadn't had time to perform the first-order Bone Enhancement. After his breakthrough, he had been conscripted, buying equipment, rushing on the road, and then immediately fighting. There simply wasn't time.

Moreover, Bone Enhancement required a certain degree of safety, and now was not the time for enhancement.

"Bone Shield!"

Fragments of shattered bones floated up and gathered, helping Klein block the scattered insects around him, while the Skeleton Warriors did their best to hack and slash around Klein.

Skeletons had no flesh and blood, making it easier for them to deal with these insects than humans.

Lilith, who was fighting the Treant, was somewhat surprised that Klein could use Necromancy, but clearly, this was not the time to ask.

In this moment of danger, Klein's Hellfire Ball fell from the sky, burning these vines to ashes.

Immediately after, four more fireballs were fired in rapid succession, bombarding the Treant's body. The fierce flames actually suppressed the second-order Treant for a time.

Lilith certainly wouldn't miss the opportunity that Klein had worked so hard to create for her.

She dragged the scythe with one hand and charged straight up with a stride, green Fel sparks scattering around her cheeks.

Facing the Fel flames, Lilith didn't dodge or avoid them, clad in Battle Aura, breaking through the flames, attaching the black Battle Aura to the scythe blade, and swinging the scythe violently.

"Final Style - Death Scythe Harvest!"

A black light passed through the Treant, and all the Treant's vitality seemed to be taken away by this black light.

The previously dark green branches gradually lost their vitality, and the Treant seemed to be dead.

This battle finally ended with the victory of Lilith and Klein.

After a fierce battle, the sky had already turned a bit fish-belly white, and it was estimated that it wouldn't be long before it was completely bright.

"Is it resolved?"

"Not sure, I'll go take a look."

Lilith held the scythe and slowly walked forward. When she touched the Treant's decaying body, the huge Treant withered and dissipated in the air.

A faint green light appeared from the position of the Treant's humanoid face. Lilith walked over, and Klein followed behind.

The green light was a sphere wrapped in several leaves, floating in the air.

"What is this thing?" Klein asked.

Lilith observed it, hesitated for a while, and then said.

"I'm not very sure either, but the current situation is very similar to the legendary birth of a Tree Sprite."

"Tree Sprite?" Klein had never heard of such a thing.

"Yes, Tree Sprites are a very magical magical beast, or rather, it can no longer be considered a magical beast. Just like the name suggests, it is a Sprite.

Tree Sprites have the abilities of healing and entanglement, which are very useful both in battle and during recovery.

Although they don't have strong combat power, they are very small, very easy to hide, and have a high survival ability.

If they can be tamed, they are very useful auxiliary magical beasts."

Klein narrowed his eyes and nodded.

… …

As soon as Lilith finished speaking, the green leaves gradually opened, and a little fairy appeared in the center of the green light. Besides her miniature figure, she had everything she should have. Women would be silent when they saw her, and men would blush and their hearts would race.

Two pairs of dragonfly-like wings grew on her back, with light golden hair, and her hands emitted a faint green light.

She looked around in a panic, first looking at Klein, and finally, her gaze stayed on Lilith.

Her eyes only contained some fear, but more of it was curiosity. She floated in the air, shaking her wings a few times, like a newborn baby.

"It seems to be a Tree Sprite, Klein. Our luck seems to be good. Let's catch her first and see if we can tame her!"

Klein hadn't said anything, and Lilith's attention was focused on the Tree Sprite.

Hearing that Lilith wanted to catch her, the Tree Sprite seemed to understand, and began to flutter her wings, wanting to fly away.

"Not good, she's going to run."

Seeing the Tree Sprite wanting to turn around and fly away, Lilith immediately stepped forward and grabbed her. Perhaps it was because she was just born, but her wings were still very soft.

Klein didn't answer Lilith's words, not because of anything else, but because the vibration from the Synthesizer made him very puzzled.

This vibration had already started when the Treant attacked them.

This was the unique vibration when triggering a Synthesizer mission.

【Temporary Event: Kill the Blood Sprite】

Because he had been in a fierce battle, he didn't have time to check the Synthesizer. He originally thought that it was asking him to kill the Treant.

But after killing the Treant, there was no prompt that the event was completed, nor was there a reward. Klein only took the time to take a look at the specific content of the event.

The Treant was not the Blood Sprite mentioned in the mission. So what was the so-called Blood Sprite?

He leaned slightly closer to the Tree Sprite, and the suspicion in his heart deepened. Klein might not be sensitive enough, but he still smelled a hint of danger.

The Tree Sprite in front of him looked soft and weak, and would die if pinched. Was she really an enemy? Klein hesitated a little.

Listening to Lilith's tone, the value of the Tree Sprite was quite high. What if he killed the wrong one? Wouldn't that be a huge loss?

"What's wrong, Klein!"

Lilith looked at Klein strangely, getting such a good thing, she didn't know what he was still struggling with.

"Lilith, let me take a look at the Tree Sprite."

Klein stretched out his hand. He still decided to try it. Even if he was wrong, he could afford the money for a Tree Sprite.

"Okay, be careful, don't let her run away."

Lilith handed the Tree Sprite in her hand over. After Klein took it, he began to observe the Tree Sprite.
