I Was Forced To Marry The Enemy

As soon as I parked the vehicle. I quickly rushed inside to find my father and brothers already at the entrance waiting for me.

"Well, well, well." Mateo announced. "You actually did it."

"It's blowing up all over, pictures of you and Kyomi are spreading like crazy. Everyone is going to know about it by the end of today." Evan added while looking at his phone.

"You've made me very proud today." My father praised me. "Good job son."

"For someone who just accomplished a very big task you're not looking too happy." Hugo noted, like always he was the one who noticed every little thing. It was what made him stand out, he paid attention to every single detail.

"Father." I finally spoke up. "We need to get over to the Palmer's house immediately. It's important that we offer the alliance now."

He looked taken aback by the request. "If we wait a little Dominic himself would offer his daughter to us, why would I go to him?"

I knew my father was right, but I wasn't willing to wait.

"He's furious right now." I gritted out.

"That's how we predicted he would react." Fabio pointed out, everyone looking at me completely confused as to what I was getting at.

"He hit her today." I finally said, unable to hide the anger from my voice. "In front of an entire crowd, in front of all her classmates, he hit her."

Everyone remained silent for a few seconds.

"That has nothing to do with us." My father finally responded. "She's his daughter, he can do with her as he pleases. Remember Dante, this ȧssignment was just for us to get Dominic off our ċhėst, it does not require you to form any form of attachment to Kyomi Palmer."

My jaw clenched at his words, I knew that, my attention was never to get attached to her and I didn't believe that I was. But at the same time I wasn't going to sit back and let her get physically abused because of me.

"Father." I said again. "This is not a case of attachment, our plans would be ruined if you don't act now. From the look on Dominic's face, his first thought is definitely not to get Kyomi married to me, you must go there and guilt him into doing it before he marries her off to someone else who's still willing to marry her despite all the articles posted with her and I."
