Class A Dragon VS Katia

Katia's POV


The clearing on the east side of the forest provides a good vantage point as there are only few trees there.

Some dragons that don't like the dark are often seen in that area.

And sure enough, Katia found a dragon there.

Katia then fired her magic [Flame] into the sky to let the others know of her discovery.

It's easy to see the sky in this area as it's not covered by trees.

Katia then saw the dark magic [Dark Matter] in the sky in the west.

She thought that was from Zekudo and at the same time a [Wind] magic flew from the sky must be from that noisy woman.

Since everyone fired their signal it's time to hunt.

The dragon noticed the sound made by her magic and it immediately rushed into her.

Katia then took out her Buster Lancer and readied it.

She is just standing there waiting for the dragon to come to her.

The dragon perhaps hungry opened it's mouth and it tried to bite Katia.

It's an attack that she always sees.

So Katia easily avoided the dragon's fangs with a backstep then she counterattack by stabbing it's neck with the Buster Lancer.

The moment that her attack connected, Katia pulled the trigger then the mechanical spear detonated with a burst of gunpowder.

The soft flesh of the dragon's neck burst open and blood spewed out in the air.

The dragon then howl but Katia saw this as an opening and she charged into it.

She stabs the flesh-ripped part further piercing its throat.

For Katia there's no need to target the other body parts of the dragon because there's already an opening.

The decisive battle is really short.

Katia then detonates the mechanical spear again burning the inside of the throat of the dragon with the heat of the explosion.

However even if the throat of the dragon is pierced, the dragon still came at Katia.

The dragon is truly tough.

The dragon blew out fire while it's blood spew from the gape of it's neck.

Some of the flames are leaking from it's throat while it fired the fireball.

The dragon made a last desperate effort to fire at Katia but the fireball, which it must have fired with great difficulty, was easily defended by Katia's great shield.

Katia while defending herself with her large shield, moved forward and thrust her buster lancer into the dragon's gaping maw.

Blood danced in the air as Katia pulled the trigger of her weapon, sending an explosion into the dragons mouth.

Black smoke rose out from the dragon's mouth, as it collapsed with its eyes flashing white.

When the dragon finally died Katia raised her hand to the sky and fired a [Flame Shot].

She was able to hunt it down at a very fast pace.

She thought that she was the one who killed a dragon first.

While thinking that, at the same time she fired her flame magic, a [Wind] spell can be seen flying from the west.

"!"

The two magic fired at the same time.

And it's from Rohee no less.

(It's a tie... again... with that woman...)

The third-year students of the knight school are said to be rivals with each other.

That's why she wanted to prove that she was better than Rohee.

Katia clicked her tongue then she left the clearing.
