Episode 62 – The Gyaru Shouldn’t Be My Wife….

The next day, I was waiting for someone at a train station in the downtown area with a nervous look on my face. If you ask who I was waiting for, it’s my in-game wife “Risa”.

Last night I was tired of crying and couldn’t sleep, so I logged into GFO and there she was waiting for me, standing next to my avatar.

I couldn’t hide my surprise and as I was staring at the screen, I heard a pinging sound.

It was a message notification from her.

“Good evening…….”

My thoughts can’t keep up with casual greetings.

That’s no wonder.

It hasn’t been long since she told me goodbye.

I typed on the keyboard, wondering how to reply to her message, but I was at a loss for words.

After a few moments of being unable to reply, I heard the pinging sound again.

I guess she must’ve been annoyed with me who’s taking too long.

I looked at the message with fear.

“I would like to meet you in person, do you have time tomorrow? 

“Huh?”

I was taken aback by that sentence and raised dumb voice in front of my computer.

It’s not just the fact that we broke up, but above all, even if she suddenly wants to meet me in person, I don’t know where she lives or even her contact information.

Then how can we meet?

“How are we going to meet if we don’t even know our contact information?”

I asked my wife, who’s supposed to be on the other side of the screen. The reply came immediately.

“Because I know you……”

“Ehh〜! !”

The reply is more than surprising, it’s terrifying.

That’s right. Is there anyone who doesn’t feel terrified when someone who has only known them through the Internet suddenly says they know you? No, I am sure there is no one.

And yet she said that she knows me.

“How do you know?”

I fearfully asked her why she knew me, and she didn’t reply immediately.

But after a while, I heard the notification sound again.

“You’ll find out tomorrow when we meet”

She logged out with meaningful words, specifying a meeting place and time.

I was stunned at how quickly she logged out and the fact that the station she specified was in my city.

I seriously suspected that my personal information had been leaked and wondered if she was some kind of stalker.

However, I had known her for a long time, even if it was just in the game, and I trusted her a little, so I decided to go to the designated place.

And now I am waiting for someone who looks like her, but there’s still no one who seems to be approaching me. Rather, I’ve been approached twice by older ladies like a reverse-hit.

I told them that I was waiting for someone and somehow they left, but I wondered what fun it was for them to talk to someone like me.

I took a sigh of relief when the ladies left and looked around again, there I found a familiar figure a little further away.

It was my classmate, Izumo Risa, wearing a long one-piece dress and standing in front while staring at me.

The sight of her gave me a goosebump,

……..What is this sense of deja vu?

When I took my eyes off her  with the questions that were rising in my mind, I saw the gyaru staring at me, and she was coming towards me.

“What are you doing?”

The gyaru called out to me in a displeased voice.

……Why are you calling out to me !?

I couldn’t stop my cold sweat at the fact that the gyaru, who’s supposed to hate me, was calling out to me and how powerful her voice was.

“N-no……Izumo san. I’m meeting up with a friend of mine…….it’s just a coincidence.”

I flinched and was unable to hide my impatience while telling her about the meeting.

“I know that ! ! More importantly,  what were you doing before you met me?”

“Eh, what do you mean…… I’m  just waiting for someone I know for the past hour…….”

I was so confused by her question that I missed her opening words.

“Hmm. Even though it’s not in the game, it seemed like you were happy to be reverse-hit before going on a date with your wife?”

Pushed by the force of her murderous intent, I took a step back.

……She will beat me up if I don’t  run ! !

My past experience told me so.

But I’d never experienced anything like that in my life, and I’d never had the chance to talk to her properly. So, why…….

“What did you just say?”

After I calmed down, I recalled what she said and asked her back. Then she sighs…..and continues to speak as if she was dumbfounded.

“Like I said, I’m shocked to see that my husband was happy to be reverse-hit before going on a date with his wife. ……If it was GFO, I would’ve turned it off immediately……..”

“Eh, n-no way……. Are you Risa……?”

Surprised by her words, I asked her while pointing my trembling finger.

The gyaru, whose expression was clouded by the situation, nodded in displeasure.

“That’s right. I’m Risa……. It’s uncomfortable, so can you stop pointing at me?  Kaizei Riku kun……. No, Rikku.”

I broke down at her answer and my mouth was wide open.

“Eeeeeeeeeeh〜 ！！！!”

I never dreamed that a girl classmate in front of me, the gyaru who hates me, Izumo Risa, was my wife in the game.
