I'm The Boss's Secretary?!

Chapter 148 - Sweet Candy Lips-I

Once Jung Hwa has acquired the book, he stepped out of the room and Seoyeon followed. Her lips were pursed while staring at him. To her it felt as if Jung Hwa had avenge her childhood anger where she was treated with unfairness.

Jung Hwa twirled the book on his hand that wasn't thick but thin in volume. He walked a few steps before Seoyeon and thinking of the human man again, he felt that he should have broke the man's ribs for it to break and stab his heart. Humans are mostly pathetic, no offense though the rest but most of the were. They enjoyed singling people out who are different than them and took fun to see the person in plight.

"Thank you." Jung Hwa turned his head at Seoyeon who had spoken. His lips widened with a smile.

"Is that my reward?" teased the pureblood vampire who stopped his feet and wait for her to stand by his side, "Although I wish for a different reward." whispered Jing Hwa as his thumb rubbing her lower lips.

The touch on her lower lips were warm. Seoyeon felt how his thumb played and pushed her lower lips as if to feel the suppleness which was ticklish. She met Jung Hwa's eyes that were with fierceness as if wanting to devour her which make Seoyeon to shudder and her toes curled.

"I..."

"You're not ready." Jung Hwa completed Seoyeon's words. With his sharp ears, Jung Hwa never miss an emotion from her. He could tell that with his teasings and sweet words would be able to have her heart swayed.

Jung Hwa's smile spread wide, "I will be here forever with you until you are ready." On his words, he could hear how Seoyeon was deeply affected. Her cheeks were flushed red while her heart flipped inside her chest.

Seoyeon felt his thumb leaving her lower lips but the warmth was still there lingering at the place he had played and pushed with.

"He wasn't a good man." said Seoyeon, filling the silence, "He asked for his life in exchange for others." Her shoes padded the way where her eyes lingered in the floor where it was dark and hard to see but with Jung Hwa whose eyes were bright, she didn't have to fear into crashing to anything or to get lost. All she need was to follow him and the sense of secureness flooded her heart.

"That is what most human are, no offense sweetheart, vampires are alike too when it come to offering other's life in exchange for them." Jung Hwa seemed to be a person who criticized others but he never sugar coated his words even if it was his own being. There was resentment Seoyeon sensed from him when he spoke of vampires. It didn't seem like he was fond of his own creatures either.

"Not only would they exchange other stranger's life for them, they would even exchange them family's life, parents, beloved husband or wife." Jung Hwa turned to her, his lips smiling over her eyes and whispered beside her ears, "I would never exchange your life for mine."

On his words Seoyeon stared back at his black eyes, finding him smiling wide after gouging her expression. It was hard for Seoyeon not to be affected by his words. She had been with him almost every day and in each day, Jung Hwa had professed his love and almost of the times his actions spoke more volume than his words.

That wasn't all that moved Seoyeon. Jung Hwa's unconditional kindness toward her as he showered her with it made her feel treasured. Sure Seoyeon had seen his worse parts but could it be count as bad?

"Where are we going?" asked Seoyeon feeling confused when she realized that instead of leaving the orphanage they entered more to the building.

"Your room, where you lived before, it's written here in this book." Jung hwa flipped the page to show her but it was useless as Seoyeon could hardly read anything with the scarce light, 'They even say that you hate spinach, carrots, lettuce..."

Seoyeon closed the book and shut it with her fingers, "That's the past, you shouldn't look much in the past."

"Why not? You looked very adorable when you are a children. Sweet, quiet, do you have a close friend?" asked Jung Hwa, curiosity staying on his eyes wanting to know more about her.

"I don't think I would have one after speaking in odd language." Seoyeon replied back. In the past she didn't know the reason why people avoided her but nod she did and she felt bad about it.

Jung Hwa folded his hand behind him while still holding the book, Don't worry, I don't have much friend either. I was a very odd one in the past. People often single others out as an outcast if you think, act, or do differently from them although it was what make each people different. Not that I see any advantage of having friend, it's a burden."

"To have someone beside you it's still better than being alone." replied Seoyeon because of she didn't have Wan Seulgi perhaps her days would be more gloomy.

Jung Hwa brushed his fingers at her before interlocking the finger to her hand, "You're right but rather than a friend, I would love to have you and only you as my companion." His eyes met hers to curve when he smiled again. A different smile that was without mischief. Seoyeon opened to close her lips, her heartbeat drumming that her cheeks burnt.

"How old are you?" she asked him, shifting the topic as if to calm herself. Vampires don't age which made Seoyeon sure that Jung Hwa"s appearance didn't change.

"In human age I'm still twenty eight. In vampire's age about thrice and a half of that." answered Jung Hwa as they ascended the staircase.

"You are much more older than I thought." Was it why Jung Hwa always seemed to kno many things? It could perhaps be the reason of his company flourishing well. Seoyeon wondered how he had kept his identity a silent. It must have been the Associates who arranged so that no one could put a suspicion on him.

Her eyes looked at him who now walked in front of her because she had fallen back by stepping in a very slow steps. Jung Hwa had a wide broad back, he was always dressed in short and a vest with neckties which now was absent from his neck to give him a wilder look.

Seoyeon heard him say, "Vampires grew differently. We are by human's age are older but in truth we don't change much especially with our thoughts." explained Jung Hwa to the sweet human girl whose eyes went down at the stair while keeping her own thoughts.

"You must have seen many women before."

Jung Hwa's steps stopped, Seoyeon also did to see him turning his body at her. His hand reached out to cup her cheek and the wild smile settled on his lips. It was dark in the staircase, darker than when Seoyeon was walking in the hallways yet she felt she could see the smile stretching his lips, "Is that your jealousy speaking I hear now? The green eyes monster coming from you? I don't mind. I wouldn't lie to you Seoyeon, there were women I slept with years ago although they don't stay in my mind like you do."

Seoyeon felt her throat dry and her teeth bite on her lower one. He leaned forward and her feet took a step back which stopped, "You make me crazy, filling my mind with only you that I can get it out from my mind. You asked me why I love you?" Jung Hwa drawled, his eyes staring at her were intense in the glowing red color.

"Because it is you." he whispered and she felt a tingling soft feeling on her cheeks. Seoyeon heard footsteps that signaled Jung Hwa walking up again while her hand covered her cheeks where she had been kissed. Feeling the spot where she had been kissed, a shuddering sigh escape from Seoyeon's mouth.

Jung Hwa ran his thumb to his lips, the same thumb that had pushed Seoyeon's lower lips before. It was hard to control himself from kissing Seoyeon's lips. Her full pink lips beckoned him for kiss but he was sure if he did it now, he wouldn't be able to stop with just a light kiss. Came the desire in Jung Hwa that want to devour her lips, leaving no place left untended, biting and nibbling at the seam.

Jung Hwa wasn't lying when he said he was feeling crazy over her but he knew to wait. Jung Hwa wish to treasure her like a treasure she was, taking time a little more as her feeling had ripened sweetly.

Once they reached to the room where Seoyeon once stayed in, Jung Hwa opened the door without saying anything and Seoyeon wish he would say something or anything. The only sound she could hear was her thundering heartbeats and the rustling sound that came from the clothing they wore. Unlike the rooms where other stayed at, Seoyeon's room was tattered almost looking as if it was used for a storage room.

"With you speaking languages others can't understand. I think it is a witches' language." Jung Hwa spoke as they entered the room.

"Witches' language?" asked Seoyeon to him, her eyes shifting from the furniture covered in dusts to him.

"I read once long ago in a book saying that witches once lived in the place of their own and there they spoke in their own language.. Thinking that you could speak that language before entering the orphanage, it is safe to say that your parents knew that they were a witch."
