I'm The Boss's Secretary?!
Chapter 179 - Visitor Of Night-I
Once the fortune teller have finished telling Seoyeon's future, she gathered the coins in one place including the three coins she took earlier. She watched the coin and asked, "Will you not be opening the coins the catalyst chose?" Because that was what the woman said earlier.
"There will be nothing good by telling the catalyst's future," as she spoke, Seoyeon saw the woman flipping the three coins to see a fire, broken ship, and a rope, "They all tell about misfortune and the dread the catalyst brought. I did this years when I met you in the past and I have tried six times but nothing change. The catalyst in you wish for the world to be destroyed, and the reason is still unknown."
"Can I ask again?" Seoyeon asked for the woman to give a nod as if to gave her permission. "What I need to do is to search for the book the dark witches kept to control the catalyst's power and keep it toned down?"
"Preferably to keep it locked forever but I have never seen or read the book before," replied the woman and Seoyeon nodded. When she felt her unsettledness go high, Jung Hwa hold her hands tighter, as if to comfort her and at time like these, she was really blessed that Jung Hwa was with her.
"I have one more question, Miss...?" Which reminded Seoyeon she hadn't ask the woman's name.
"I don't have name, you can call me as you like," the woman replied.
"Is it because your power didn't allow you to?" It was Jung Hwa who asked and the woman gave him a nod of her head.
"What is the question, Seoyeon?" On the woman's question, Seoyeon felt that the tone she used to call her name feel like she knows her. There was gentleness and kindness but the entire time the woman had spoken very softly.
"Are you a witch?" Seoyeon asked the question that bugged her mind. It didn't look like she is a witch but then Jung Hwa said witches have their own power that doesn't necessarily tell the power would be making potions or spells.
The woman smiled beneath her veil which couldn't be seen by Seoyeon, "I am a descendant of a witch but I am not one," she said and her head turn to Jung Hwa, "As you are here along her, would you like to know your future?"
"No, I don't believe fortune teller you see. You may say correct but my future is up to me to decide," Jung Hwa answered and a grin went on his lips. He thought it was better to go blind into his own future as there was an enjoyment it needed.
Seoyeon on the other hand questioned his words. He told her to try the fortune teller's reading but then he said no. Does he really believe the fortune teller or not? With them being done with everything they need to know, he got up and brought Seoyeon with him. When they reached to the door, Jung Hwa said to her, "I will come out in two minutes."
"Don't kill her," was Seoyeon's reply to see him chuckling.
"I will not. I see you have gotten a fondness on her but you should not believe in anyone, Seoyeon," he reminded her. The last thing he want to happen was Seoyeon backstabbed by others. "Go on," and Seoyeon bowed to thank the fortune teller. Before she left, she sees the door closed. Believing Jung Hwa's words, she walked toward the gate of the house and entered the car.
In the meantime, after Seoyeon left, Jung Hwa who closed the door then turned to the fortune teller. Seeing the door closed, the fortune teller moved back to lean on the wall, "Please release your blood power."
"You could see that much?" Jung Hwa asked with a grin before he snapped his finger and the blood that stayed sharp like a blade next to the woman's artery disappeared. "What do you know about Seoyeon's parents? Not the real one but the one who took her in. Do they love her like their own daughter and thought of her that much?"
"They love her nothing less to their son," replied the woman.
"But you are not completely sure because even though you can see everything you cannot see other's intention to you or others," said Jung Hwa and when he caught the woman's hand flinched, his grin widened, "I hit the mark. Let me guess another thing you can't say anything about the fortune the late Mr. and Mrs. Han have to me, can't you? You are set with many rules in exchange to see the future."
The fortune teller didn't say anything for a while until she sighed, "Yes, you are correct."
Jung Hwa's eyes darkened, "Then I have no use of you then," on his words, the woman gulped, "I am not killing you either because I promised with my sweet kitten. Do you lied to Seoyeon on any of her question?"
"No. If I could say, Mr. Vampire. You are Seoyeon's one and only pillar. I can tell you do not break and you do not bend but the fact that you are with her, your fate had been destined," the woman said.
"What a good fortune is that," he chuckled.
"It is but not at the same time. I know that you love her and maybe likewise Seoyeon had fallen for you," Jung Hwa's smile widened even more on the words the woman said even when he knew it by the day spends. Seoyeon didn't run from him and it was taking slow before his love spread in her. He should say that there was a silver lining on the action her relatives took to her, as by doing so, Seoyeon had him to rely, strengthening their relationship.
The woman continued, "Allow me to say this. You have two choice to make just like Seoyeon. To protect or to kill her along with the catalyst. I advise you to look back on Seoyeon's past and her birth parents as I know nothing about it, maybe would could find a light to the problem and now more about the catalyst."
"That will never happen," replied Jung Hwa as his hand hold the door knob, "But thank you," and just when Jung Hwa was about to leave, a whisper came beside the fortune teller's ears and she quickly say,
"Mr. Jung! You have to be cautious. You could get killed too."
Jung Hwa turned his back, his body moving to the side to show the corner of his lips curling, "Don't you know already? I have always been under the shadow of dead and I am very cautious."
When he left and the door closed, the fortune teller removed her veil, her face was still unseen as the shadow covered. Whispers came around her and some are unheard while one came clear beside her ears. "He is not a simple vampire."
"There are pool of blood, spirits, and shadows all around him," said another in whisper regardless there was no one in the room than her.
"What do you mean?" asked the fortune teller, her voice coming louder this time.
"He is one who devours his own family. His brother, his mother, and his father. All of their death reasoned on him and he killed two of them. Dangerous. He is dangerous," the whispers continued to shout dangerous one after another and the fortune teller pulled her brows. Was the vampire dangerous? She didn't see his future so she couldn't tell but the man took Seoyeon as his own and there should be no problem but will it?
"Everything will end in tragedy! This tragic!" said the same whisper again.
Meanwhile, Seoyeon who waited on the car felt eerie after the talk and she recalled the whispers beside the fortune teller which was uncanny. Thinking that staying alone here would make her more unsettled, Seoyeon thought to get out but then in two minutes, Jung Hwa came to the car. A man of time.
"Don't look at me that way, I didn't kill her," said Jung Hwa once he entered the car.
"I don't doubt you but was that a yet statement?" asked Seoyeon to fill the noisiness of her heart.
"Hm, if the fortune teller try to do anything wrong, we have no choice," Jung Hwa drove the car and in the whole ride, he noticed how Seoyeon was being very quiet. It was clear her mind was filled with the words of the fortune teller. "Are you alright there?"
"I am not," Seoyeon replied truthfully. "You know this catalyst inside me the fortune teller said seemed intangible. I can't say I don't believe the fortune teller's words but somewhere it feels like it is not there. There is no sign."
"That should be good, doesn't it?" Jung Hwa replied and she nodded but the goodness wouldn't stay long and it make her feel uneasy. "You have nothing to worry about, I will find a way with you to fix whatever inside you."
"You mean we," corrected Seoyeon and her eyes were glittered by Jung Hwa's wide smirk.
"Yes, we. Do you know how joyful I am now?" asked Jung Hwa and Seoyeon tend her eyes on him who spoke. He asked but he didn't wait for her reply and continued, "To know and see that your heart is slowly inclining over me. That you are opening yourself to me. I know you think I am your only option and that it is inevitable for you to lean on me; But I am happy that I am your one and only option. It sounds like the sky is on my side to have you."
"There will be nothing good by telling the catalyst's future," as she spoke, Seoyeon saw the woman flipping the three coins to see a fire, broken ship, and a rope, "They all tell about misfortune and the dread the catalyst brought.
