I'm The Boss's Secretary?!
Chapter 207 - Drinking Blood-III
Seoyeon could feel her heartbeat raced inside her but it was not out of fear. It was somewhere weird to Seoyeon of how in her heart she felt more nervous than fear. Before when Jung Hwa spoke about drinking blood from her neck, she was afraid yet now she could g find the single silver emotion of fear.
"I am going to change my mind if you prefer to drink the blood pack," she answered. There was still the blood pack laying in Jung Hwa's room. Even though Seoyeon had never landed her feet on his room, she could tell he would have storage where blood packs were kept as he seems to have gone back in his office.
"No, please don't change your mind so quickly, Seoyeon. With your offer and your adorable way of questioning can I ever say no?" Jung Hwa could see his words taking effect in Seoyeon to make her embarrassed. "Let's go."
With her hand pulled, Seoyeon followed his direction, When they were about to reach the living room, her lips inhaled a mouthful of breath, preparing to offer her neck when she saw them passing by the living room.
"Where are we going?" There was carefulness in Seoyeon's voice. Somewhere more than thirsty, Jung Hwa looked as if he was aroused and Seoyeon doesn't want to think her thought was correct.
"My room, the couch in the living room would get dirty but my bed wouldn't," Jung Hwa offered her a sweet smile which was commendable for a vampire whose thirst was on the peak.
"Your bed is made up of cushion and fabric, it would get dirty too, we can use the floor," suggested Seoyeon, looking at the floor, she thought she had made a good choice and Jung Hwa's lips instead only curled higher. They continue to walk as Jung Hwa had no intention of letting go of the sweet hand he had captured.
"Or the bathroom," the one word came from Jung Hwa had Seoyeon to stop her body inadvertently and her expression turn like a statue. "If you think about it, even if the blood of yours fell to the floor, in the bathroom we could just sprinkle water, leaving no evidence."
Seoyeon pulled her brows, her smile came out as sarcastic, "I don't think the evidence is the problem here," it was not as if they had killed or is going to kill someone and choosing where to end the person's life. But the tone Jung Hwa used sounded like one.
"Then tell me Seoyeon, would you rather be eating on open where people could watch you or would you rather eat at the space where you like, free from people where you could eat the food laid in front of you without restrictions?" Jung Hwa questioned her as if it was the most rational question and when his feet stopped in front of a door, she gulped, her throat bobbed and Jung Hwa can't miss the sound of her heartbeat that spiked when noticing where they had stopped at.
Unable to hold her words, she replied, "I guess the latter?" Any words were fine in Seoyeon's mind. She hoped by talking about whatever topic there was, she could lessen the tense air she felt that made her back to straighten every second she noticed Jung Hwa's eyes on her.
Jung Hwa pulled her waist, turning her body to press her on the door. With a so
men expression he said, "That's what I am doing now. My bed is the best place where I could feel relaxed while drinking. You know, drinking blood is not a matter of filling the stomach of vampires, it was to enjoy. I am in no mood to enjoy drinking if it was blood pack but with you being my food tonight, I have to enjoy every last drop of your blood."
Seoyeon shuddered at his words. Why does it sound to her ears that Jung Hwa is going to drink her to death?
"Not the bed," Seoyeon whispered. The bed was dangerous and she would not want either of him to break free of every boundary to succumb to pleasure on her. She doubted Jung Hwa would force himself on her but that didn't mean he doesn't know ways to make her submit and resign to him. "The couch."
"How do you know if there is a couch in my room?" questioned Jung Hwa with his lips pulling high, "Don't tell me you peeked into my room while I was sleeping?"
Seoyeon hadn't seen Jung Hwa's room but she had a feeling it would be luxurious and although in her room there was no couch, there was a chair near her the footboard of her bed which was long enough to seem like a couch. Seeing how fancy the guest room was, she could tell for sure Jung Hwa's room would be more lavishly decorated.
"I just guessed," Seoyeon replied. She can't keep her heart to calm down. Every time she thought her heart had calmed down, he managed to do things that unnerved her again. She was like a ball of nervousness where his slightest touch made her feel sensitive enough to jump.
Seoyeon hopes there was a hole she could run to hide if Jung Hwa did things she hopes Jung Hwa would not put into practice.
Jung Hwa pushed the doorknob and she felt her back tilting to enter the room before him. She took a look around the room with his knowledge. Turning around she could only see how minimalistic the room was. The black curtain was pulled to close the window and see how tidy the room was, Seoyeon could tell Alfred has a good skill to clean rooms.
She quickly searched for a couch and when finding one, she breathed out in relief.
"I should have burned the couch," chimed Jung Hwa who knows Seoyeon's breath of relief from her lips. "Is your only restriction is to drink on the couch instead of a bed?"
"And don't touch me," added Seoyeon. Jung Hwa's fingers were like magic to her, every slightest rub of his finger could make her feel as if her nerves were let loose to chaos.
"Touch as in to land a hand on you and caress you, because I cannot promise not to touch you when drinking as there will still a skin contact between us," he reminded, being somewhat thorough with the conditions and Seoyeon nodded in agreement.
She didn't know if she should start by taking a seat on the couch and her eyes turned to see Jung Hwa taking off the vest he wore. He then unwrapped the ribbon tied on his palm which was wounded.
"Thank you for helping me from the danger," said Seoyeon, taking his eyes from his hands to her. Seeing her apologize sweetly had him smile wide in delight.
"All for you, haven't I told you that I will protect you no matter what? I promised you this and I will never break my promise," said Jung Hwa. Seoyeon had come to his room for a reason and half of it was because she felt responsible for the wound on his hand.
It was his method to use her kindness and gentleness, also the guilt she had for his wound to bring her to his room. Jung Hwa didn't expect Seoyeon to offer her blood to him but he can't help but feel as if today he had received a very meaningful treat in his life.
He enjoyed the view of Seoyeon being nervous and fidgety. Thinking of what kind of expression she would have while he took a drink from her body, thrilled him.
Seoyeon felt her throat went dry at the impending silence. She threw her gaze around the room, "There aren't any picture frames here either."
If there were no picture frames around the house, Seoyeon could agree to the reason Alfred gave for Jung Hwa to not bring the picture of his family but why was there none in his room? Most people would have at least one picture with their family placed in the bedroom but there was none in Jung Hwa's case.
The words said by Valerie came back to her mind. Seoyeon could not say with all honesty that she would feel unnerved if Jung Hwa confirmed the killing Valerie claimed, but she knew there would be a reason. Even if there was none, Seoyeon promise to accept Jung Hwa like the way he accepts her despite knowing what she was and how her parents were notorious dark witches.
"Are you curious about my childhood pictures?" Jung Hwa questioned her when he pulled his necktie to untie and placed it above the cupboard.
"A little," replied Seoyeon, she continues to look around to ease her nerves. More than being nervous about getting bitten, she can't help but feel conscious of the fact that they were alone now in a closed room. "How does your mother look, Hwa?" she asked to change the air and Jung Hwa noticed how her heartbeat increased the moment he was about to come to her.
Seeing his fidgety self only arouse the mischievous side inside him and his lips were pulled high.
