I'm The Boss's Secretary?!

Chapter 251 - Spells To Kill-II

Inside the house was larger than Seoyeon thought. Nimbly, like a cat with a gracefulness on her movement, she jumped from the window to the closest wall without making a sound. Because Che Hara live peacefully, there were no guards on her house, the only problem was the maids that seemed to be quite a lot, moving around the house to clean.

Waiting wouldn't do her any good as it would only increase more opportunity for her to be found, Seoyeon decided to work quickly but swiftly. When she saw a maid was walking on a passageway, she hid on the end corner of the passage, only walking once she saw there was no one.

There were little problems as Seoyeon entered the house, the place was large and it was easy for her to lose her direction to find Che Hara's room. Elise didn't know what evidence she needed to find, but briefly she was told that it was something that she would immediately understood it was an evidence. The instruction Jung Hwa gave was obscure and crazy, which was very like him. Although Seoyeon wish to complain or flick his forehead for being playful even on this situation, she had no choice but to trust his words.

Leaving the place where she first arrived, she leisurely walked toward many places, in order to find Che Hara's room. More than Seoyeon had originally thought, finding a room in such a large house was difficult. She made many turn and walked down many passages until she arrived at a large hallway with many doors on the right side when suddenly one of the door burst open. Seoyeon quickly jumped behind a large shelf, hiding herself by squeezing her body, wondering who had walked out of the room with such a big movement.

A girl who didn't look very old left the room with tears all over her face, she was wearing a plain uniform which Seoyeon had been seeing all the time she tried to erase her presence inside the house. The girl was a maid. But what was more important were the blood that profusely streamed out of her hand.

There was a man who was beside her, bowing at the person at the other end of the room before closing the door with a click. He then sighed while looking at the human maid, "Haven't you've been warned many times not to approach the young lady when she is angered?"

The girl was sobbing and a crying mess. Her forearm was bloody as Che Hara had stabbed her with a fork and made a long horizontal wound by pulling the fork across her hand. The scene burnt in the maid's mind and she found it to be horrific. "I-I didn't know the lady was in a bad mood. She was happy a moment ago, until she received that."

The housekeeper wasn't aware what the maid meant. "What did the lady receive?"

"A paper," responded the maid and Seoyeon who hid behind the shelf stuck her head out a little to ensure more words from the two as they have begun to speak in small whispers, "I told her that I found a small paper lying in front of her room while bringing her the blood she wanted. But the moment she took and read the paper, she stabbed the fork to my hand." recollecting about what had transpired, the maid cried again as the pain began to bite her. She was also loosing blood quite a lot therefore the housekeeper didn't press any longer as a human would die if they weren't careful with the amount of blood they lost.

"Clean the wound and take a proper care of it," before the maid left, he added, "Also bring anyone to clean this blood. More blood will only attract vampires who are living in this house."

Seoyeon wondered if there were more humans who was no-stranger to the world of vampires. The maid seemed to know much about vampires, while the housekeeper appeared to be half-vampire as his eyes were faintly red in color.

The housekeeper unexpectedly walked toward her direction, and quickly Seoyeon pressed herself deeper to the slit between the wall to cover herself until the person left. After conforming there was no one, she then made her way in front of Che Hara's room with a deep sigh. Now that she has arrive, what should she do to have Che Hara leave her room?

On the second floor, Min Beomgyu finally entered the house after a difficult time and following him from behind was Yu Sheen who had helped him to enter. With a sigh, Yu Sheen settled his feet on the ground. "Do you really don't posses any magic that could make a hole noiselessly?"

"If I have known such a good magic spell, I would have done it to protect myself you know," answered Min Beomgyu, "But I know some good magic potion I could use for attacks, although there is a downside."

Yu Sheen had never heard much about witches, and he was very curious to know more, "What kind of downside?" asked the half-vampire.

"The person need to drink the potion," responded Min Beomgyu for a sigh to come out from Yu Sheen's mouth. Deep down, the half vampire thought he wasn't as useless as he seemed, this white witch beside him was even more useless than him which somewhere fixed back his pride that broke.

While being beside Jung Hwa, each day, Yu Sheen only learned of how incapable he was compared to the young pureblood who in contrast to his childish grin was a very serious person to his work.

As long as the white witch is alive, he might not be the most useless person on Earth. thought Yu Sheen to himself for a boost to his confidence. "Isn't there a way to use the potion without making them drink?"

"Unfortunately my genes don't help me to do so. If only I was a Yellow or Red witch, I might be more helpful in fight, but one can't choose what they are born with, right?" questioned the white witch and he opened the large bag he brought with him that hung only on one side of his shoulder, "This is the magic potion."

Yu Sheen went to look closer at the flask which had liquid of mostly blue and white liquid inside them, "Is there a need for you to bring this much?" Instead of helping wouldn't this only become a burden to him as it only weighed him down? wondered Yu Sheen.

"Just to protect myself, it don't hurt to be too careful. We wouldn't want someone coming from behind us, trying to kill us without anything to protect ourself don't we? I am not a vampire so a little wound could kill me."

Yu Sheen chuckled a little, finding that perhaps staying with the white witch was a good idea as he never felt himself so much more capable and adept than the person beside him, building more of his pride, "But I doubt there would be anyone to attack us like you said. In this building we only need to be careful with Miss Che, but she wouldn't kill us as long as we are working under the Associates. It won't happen," the half vampire stated, brushing away the white witch's worry as if it was nothing.

"You don't know the future, don't jinx it. You know how danger only comes when you say it won't happen..." Min Beomgyu drawled when his eyes suddenly noticed the shadow that increase in size bellow his feet. The white witch walked with Yu Sheen side by side, so how come there was another extra large shadow from behind?

Yu Sheen only realized the shadow a second after Min Beomgyu's eyes looked down. They were both surprise and quickly turned their back when a large axe fell between them. If only one of them were a little late, and they would have lost half of their body chopped by the axe. The thought alone was enough to send shivers on both the men.

The white witch looked at the half vampire, the latter and the former didn't speak but their eyes stared at one another as if they were speaking with their gaze. They both had the same thought, speak of the devil! Didn't Min Beomgyu spoke about an attack a second ago? and here they are attacked by a large build man who held axe on both his hands.

The large witch looked at the two people who shrunk at the corner of the wall as if they were trying to become one with the wall, not to be noticed by him like a scared little mouses. "Why the silence? You two were very noisy earlier. Why don't you speak more and play with me?"

Yu Sheen still froze on his spot, almost turning to a stone while Min Beomgyu had stood up. Without any hesitation, he shouted, "No thank you!" and with that the white witch ran, leaving the half vampire dumbstruck when realizing the white witch had saved himself, forgetting him.

The large witch didn't chase Min Beomgyu, instead he slowly looked at Yu Sheen with a shrilling smile, "He ran, but no worries, I will get to him soon. There is no more way to leave this house alive either way. And there is still you."

Yu Sheen shut close his eyes, in his mind he was cursing his bad luck. How could the white witch be so heartless as to leave him here. And a moment ago he thought the white witch was kind of a good person. He had been lied to!

While he was still thinking, the axe was swung again, this time it was toward his face. Not wanting to die, Yu Sheen avoided the axe by a breathe away. His eyes then rolled to his left side where the axe had went through the wall, creating a new slit. Some of his hair stuck on the axe, torn after the axe fell toward his direction. He then felt a slight pain on his ears, belatedly realizing his ears had been wounded.

"Not gonna run?" the large witch asked him, curious why the half vampire still sat on the corner of the wall when death was coming for him.

Really, what on Earth did he waited for?! His legs were shaking in fear that he had forgotten there was a chance for him to run from the crazy man.

Thankfully, the enemy reminded him that he still has his legs. With a clumsy run, Yu Sheen escaped by bumping from one wall to another. In his heart he promised that if he meet the white witch again, alive, he would never forgive him!
