I'm The Boss's Secretary?!

Seoyeon raised her brows. This hunter knows Jung Hwa? From the way he had called his name it appeared that they were acquainted although Seoyeon still can't tell whether they were in a good term, the man didn't seem hostile while looking at Jung Hwa unlike the other Hunter whose name was, Harnes. He appeared to be Korean but his name spoke otherwise. 

"I don't usually play with children, but I could forget it," Jung Hwa said, he stood in front of Seoyeon. When the older Hunter's eyes fell on Seoyeon even though he was blind, his expression spoke of a different expression, as if he could see her who was there and Seoyeon who had been looking at the man noticed this.

Did he sensed anything? asked Seoyeon in her mind. She wondered if she was in a very bad situation at the moment. To fight using her witchcraft was the last option she had to protect herself but both Hunters and the Associates marked witches as being to be killed, except Min Beomgyu as he offered his help to the Associates. 

There was no more running for her to claim she wasn't a witch with the evidences of her fighting the witches were all over the house and so were the witnesses, who saw her using the potions to kill the witches.

As if hearing her thoughts, Jung Hwa reached out his hand to hold hers and strength surge inside her. Seoyeon clasped her finger to his palm, returning his hold where she felt the most strongest with his support at this moment.

"The Associates would come soon, do you have anymore business here, Mr. Rum?" Jung Hwa questioned the blind man, and Seoyeon learned that the two mutually know each other. "There are still two witches in the house according to that one which I killed, I advise you to go now unless you wish to see more human bodies." Jung Hwa pointed his hand to the axe witch who was buried under the rubbles. His hand stick out of the debris. 

Rum slowly nodded, seemingly understand something that Harnes didn't even though he was the person who couldn't see the most, "I can see that Hunters and Associates' meeting would be held soon again." The man said before calling the younger hunter whose eyes stare at Jung Hwa wearily, "Hernes, we are going."

When they decide to walk away, Seoyeon let our a breath that was short-lived as Rum turned his body, his eyes falling straight to Jung Hwa but Seoyeon wondered if he was actually staring at her who was standing behind Hwa as the man's eyes felt piercing. "Do you might have seen a younger hunter running here?"

Jung Hwa raised his brows, he didn't notice it as his heart went dead for a minute, "I don't think so, what's his name?"

Rum opened his mouth but somehow decided not to say it, "I don't think it is necessary. Thank you."

Once they left, Seoyeon stared at Jung Hwa whose expression was solemn in a thought. "We should search for Yu Sheen and Beomgyu before the Hunters find them first."

Agreeing with the idea, Seoyeon bring her head up and down. There was the witch possibility and the fact that Min Beomgyu was a witch. Seeing how hostile Hunters were to vampires, the two combination of witch and vampire might be the most prone to danger at this moment.

Ava stood at the edge of roof of the house opposite to Che Hara's. Her eyes stared at the house, looking at both Jung Hwa and Seoyeon when the person behind her watched the fresh blood trickle from the side of her arm.

"I have found it," said the same Digger who had been loyal to Ava.

"What have you found?" questioned Ava, bringing her hand to her arm, she wiped the blood, noticing how if the wound had been four inches further, her chest would have been wounded. The Hunter she fought with today was a very strong one and bothersome. 

"The half vampire!" chimed Digger with a happy smile, "It is the same human who was forced to drink potion Numhae made. I found her in the hospital and she had turn successfully into a half vampire."

Ava turned her face with an amused look, "Who would guess Numhae would succeed after her death. Seems like alive bring her misfortune but death being her fortune. But at this point no one would forget who she is. What happen to your cheek?" she then asked noticing a bruise on the Digger's face and how his short body seemed to hunch lower in pain.

The Digger appeared unsettled and angry, "It was Riam, the playboy witch under the Mistress! I came back after finding out about the half vampire the Mistress was searching of, but then he appeared in front of me and interrogated about what I have found. He beat me and I had no choice but to tell him."

"That can't be helped then," Ava said, she didn't care about merits of doing what the Mistress ordered her to do. What she cares was her own revenge against vampire, she didn't see how taking back the half vampire would helped her in her revenge. 

"Are you not going to go there and fetch the half vampire?" Digger asked because she seemed to lack the zeal to kidnap the half vampire as the Mistress had ordered.

"The important thing was the serum that now run in the half vampire's blood but Riam would be able to take it on his own." and she sees that the wound on her arm wouldn't heal any time soon due to the Hunter's weapon.

Digger shook his head, "I think you should take this chance and attack tomorrow Ava. You failed today's task and the Mistress seem to be very on edge because she wasn't able to find that special book. If you come back without anything I am afraid she would do what she did to Numhae," concerned was in Digger's voice as he felt sympathetic to the witch who knew about Ava's terrible past. 

"Dying won't be great to me now," whispered Ava to herself, "Not when I have not achieve anything," and she turned her body that was still facing Che Hara's house, passing by Digger and walking toward the darkness, "Tell Riam this: I will be there but push the date to the next two days. If he doesn't listen to my warning," Ava's black eyes glowered when she looked at the Digger, "I will put his sister's body back to where she belong." and the Digger bowed to receive her order.. His body moved toward the darkness, leaving no trace when moonlight came to shine the place he stood at before.
