I'm The Boss's Secretary?!

Chapter 95 - How A Bite Taste-I

Seoyeon casted her eyes away from the window, her eyes finding to look at Jung Hwa before she stared at his clothes. Now that she think about it, Jung Hwa had never dressed simply. She had often seen him with suits and like the every other days where she saw him wearing the suit, today too he was wearing one. She thought it was normal for him to wear one but what if he had wore the good-looking suit because they had a party? Then his clothes would suit with the rest of the guests. But even if he didn't wear anything fancy, his face was enough to make up what his clothes didn't.

"I thought we were going to attend the invitation from the Associates but everyone are very dressed up like they were going to a party." said Seoyeon, her words were meant as a question toward him and her eyes stared to wait for his answer.

Jung Hwa have a nod, "It is a party." and before Seoyeon frowned, he continued, "Do you know what's the difference between vampires?" she gave him a confused look. There was something that differ vampires amongst each other? Perhaps like humans' caste?

"I don't know." she replied truthfully, her eyes reading his expression and he love the fact that her attention was entirely focused on her.

"There are three types of vampires. First being pureblood which is the highest of all vampires, the supreme and often the being who controlled vampires in old ages and that is me. The other type are vampires they are certainly different from the rest of vampires and came the last vampires who often be said as the lowest vampires, half vampires. Compared to vampires, half vampires are considered the weakest. They are not much different to human in vampires' eyes."

Seoyeon lifted her brows, "Aren't vampires and half vampires the same?" she didn't see and couldn't find the difference.

"Of course they are. Vampires born to be one whilst half vampires are humans who have thrown aside their humanity to become vampires." Jung Hwa explained.

For some reason the word thrown aside humanity seemed bad, thought Seoyeon and she spoke, "Perhaps they haven't yet thrown their humanity. They are deep down human. Perhaps there is some kindness still left inside them." she said. Even if the humans had turned into a vampire she can't think that they would forget their humanity.

Jung Hwa could see that even with how Seoyeon's aunt and uncle wasn't a good people with greedy personality, she must have be brought up in a good life with family. She lived in naivety when it come to the world he live in and she had always held right justice in her heart. She was someone who would treat people with kindness despite not knowing the person herself. He knew that she would help anyone who is in need, thinking that kindness is for the world.

Jung Hwa smiled wide, "Perhaps. Maybe yes and no. No one knows and it is not something for us to judge. How many reason do you think could encourage one human into a vampire?"

She looked at him who was waiting for answer and she gave some thought to wisely say, "Love, health..."

"Power, strength, money, immortality," continued Jung Hwa. "And out of many of those reasons how much do you think in this building was the reason why they chose to be transform?" He asked and replied, "Four. Power, money, strength, and immortality."

She held her thoughts. Was it so? She believes that people have reasons and there must be more people than Jung Hwa knows who had turned into vampires because of a better reason than the ones he had said. Then she said, "What about me?" she saw his black eyes stared at her, "You asked me that you could turn me into a vampire. I could perhaps be one of the reason I've said earlier."

He chuckled again, his voice which was low made his chuckle to sound airy like a whisper of some sort, "I didn't claim all of them to be of the four reasons I mentioned. I said most but if you wish that it doesn't become most, you could add yourself in the tab to be in a group of half-vampires who had turned themselves for the reason of love."

Han Seoyeon was left baffled by his words, her brows furrowed. How did it come to that? Seoyeon often find herself lost in his logic but his words always manage to make a point except for the last one, she thought to herself. Who would turn themself to a vampire only to prove their point?

Seoyeon noticed that there begin people staring at the car where she was. Every eyes were on them and she could feel that the eyes seemed to be calculating as the people who were staring at the car was expressionless for a moment, whispering and talking to each other with a deep serious look. Jung Hwa seemed to also noticed that. Pushing the button to open the seatbelt, she saw him and followed his suit. She thought he would stand up and follow his suit when her body was pulled.

Seoyeon turned her head finding his face without a smile and he sternly warned her, "Once you step inside this building what you believe in normal world is difference. They are vampires like me. I'm kind to you because you are you however, people in this building they are not. Don't trust anyone except me."

Seoyeon knew that despite everything, Jung Hwa was there to protect her. She gave him a smile, nodding and the obedient agreement she did the trick for him to smile.

"Good. Believing me is enough Seoyeon." he made his last statement before opening the door for himself. When she was about to walk down, she realized how her door was closed until Jung Hwa came to her side and opened the door for her.
