Journey Towards Greatness

Julian saw the middle-aged woman picking up the fruits and berries on the ground and putting it back on her cart, like other vendors, she doesn't seem to have her own spot so she is using a pushcart to sell her good and now she is being bullied by these idiots.

No wonder the young Jenny was so frustrated by Team Skull, their actions though not as dangerous as organizations that Julian has faced before, are still very unethical and lack morals.

"Just leave me alone".

The middle-aged woman voiced out but the goons from Team Skull just laughed at her, they have also surrounded the middle-aged woman and prevented the people from helping her.

"Look, we just asked you to give us some berries to feed our pokemon and you actually dared to ask for money, look at our pokemon, they are skinny and starving, you are such a heartless person for not giving it to our pokemon for free, you deserve this".

The man with blue hair in the lead said with a grin on his face as he picked up a berry and took a bite out of it, the other members of Team Skull just laughed seeing this and enjoyed the show.

"You bastards, leave her alone, how could you do such things".

A man in the crowd voiced his concern for the middle-aged woman, and the leader of the group turned his head towards the man and grinned.

"How can I do this? You are asking the wrong question pal, didn't you hear what I just said, she is a heartless woman who can't spare a few berries for our pokemons, heartless people deserve to be punished, hahaha".

Julian has seen enough, he stepped up and started walking toward the middle-aged woman who is about to break down in tears, the two goons who were blocking Julian's path noticed him walking towards them.

They were surprised that someone is stepping in but soon their surprise turn into excitement as they are now going to have some fun with this man.

"Hey you, you got some balls stepping up, didn't you hear what the boss just said, that old woman deserves to be punis-"

Before he could even finish his sentence, Julian put his hand on his face and lifted him up in the air like a child, the guy was only 5'7 in height and when lifted by someone who is over 6 feet tall and ridiculously powerful, he had no chance of escaping.

Julian just tossed the goon to the side and continued to walk forward, the other goon who was standing next to him was completely shocked by this, he didn't expect his partner to just get tossed away like that.

"Hey, stop".

The goon tried to stop him but Julian didn't even look at him and backhanded his face with a bitch slap, the goon just did a whole 360 and went head first onto the ground.

This, of course, grabbed the attention of everything present on the street, the Team Skull goons looked at Julian and wondered who this person is? Nobody tried to stop him and just watched as he walked towards the middle-aged woman and lift her up.

Julian "No need to pick these up"

Julian said.

The middle-aged woman is confused as to who this young man is but she is more worried about him as Team Skull might beat him up.

"Hey look, we have a hero here, trying to act as an upright guy".

The leader of the group said and started laughing, following him, the other goons also started laughing along with him.

"You look like a new face here so let me tell you something, Alola is run by us, Team Skull, so I am going to tell you just this once for your own good, don't interfere in our business".

He said but Julian completely ignored him.

Julian "How much of a loss did you suffer?"

Julian asked directly to the middle-aged woman, the woman didn't want to bother Julian but for some reason, she couldn't deny his question.

"About a thousand poke dollars".

She replied.

"Hey, the boss is talking".

Seeing that Julian was not listening to their leader, one of them approached Julian but before he could even reach Julian, a chain made of shadow shot out from the dark and grabbed the goon's leg and sent him flying through the air with no concern.

"You fucking bastard, how dare you attack us Team Skull! Everyone, attack him".

The leader finally had enough of it and ordered the other goons to attack him, every Team Skull goon called out their pokemon and ordered their pokemons to attack Julian.

Julian kept his composure and directly stare downed the leader of the group.

"Young man, you don't need to bother with me, just ask for forgiveness and run away".

The middle-aged woman tried to warn him but Julian just turned towards her and smiled reassuring her that nothing would happen.

Julian "Gengar"

Julian just spoke one word and the atmosphere changed completely, every Team Skull goon felt their heart squeezing as they stopped breathing, their faces turned pale, and they started hyperventilating as they started to feel a terrifying feeling run through their body.

It was not just fear, it was dread, overwhelming dread that caused their legs to tremble and their knees to bend, their pokemons were also not in the right mind as their instinct told them to run as far as they could.

Their pokemons completely abandoned their trainers and just ran away without a care for them.

The leader of the group is shaking in his boots, his heart beating faster and faster, his body sweating propitiously, his eyes completely contracted, he felt an overwhelming pressure pressing on his heart as the overwhelming dread took over his whole body.

He looked at Julian and regretted doing anything today, he regretted joining Team Skull, he regretted making bad friends, he regretted being born.

If he could, he would erase himself from the face of this world so that he would never have to feel this feeling ever again.
