Journey Towards Greatness

The dread the leader of this group was feeling was something one would never forget but it was not over, he is on his knees with his eyes staring into the ground as he couldn't lift his head from fear but he suddenly felt something.

He felt someone holding his shoulders so out of sheer will he lifted his head to see who it is only to find two dark crimson eyes staring through his soul.

Gengar "GEGEGEGEGEGEGE"

Gengar let out a creepy laugh as he stared down the leader, he is having a lot of fun scaring these people, he doesn't get a lot of opportunities to put fear into someone but when he does, he enjoys it a lot.

Seeing Gengar's terrifying face, the leader of the group started to leak from both his sides, he peed and shit his pants simultaneously.

Julian didn't even bother to look at the leader after he peed and shit his pants, he grabbed one of the goons by his collar and stared him down with his cold eyes.

Julian "Take out 1000 dollars and leave and keep in mind to not come here ever again or I will come for you people"

Julian threatened. The goon aggressively nodded his head in fear and quickly collected 1000 dollars after collecting some money from every goon and handed it over to Julian, Julian didn't even bother to speak with them again, he just shooed them off like dogs and watched them run away while carrying their leader.

Julian then walked towards the middle-aged woman and handed her the 1000 poke dollar, the middle-aged woman thanked him while the people around them clapped and cheered for him.

The middle-aged woman wanted to thank him so she packed a few berries for him, Julian then bid his farewell and headed to pokemon school.

It took him a few minutes to arrive near the school when he got there he saw another commotion in front of him and it is caused by the same annoying group called Team Skull, this bunch looks much younger and the pokemon they have with them are also very weak.

Julian didn't try to interfere either because some people are already engaging them and these two people are none other than Ash and some kid Julian doesn't know.

He just kept his distance and watched as Ash seems to be exchanging some words with those kids from Team Skull, Julian also noticed another presence very close by, he turned his head and looked at a tree which is a few meters away from him and could tell that something was hiding behind the leaves and Julian knew what it was.

It is Tapu Koko, even though Julian couldn't see it, he felt its presence very close to him but this time it doesn't seem to be after him.

Tapu Koko also noticed Julian and looked at him with surprise but it isn't here for Julian so it went back to watching the person it came here for, it is Ash that Tapu Koko is interested in as it felt the little human is fated with it.

Julian is also curious as to why Tapu Koko is here but his attention was soon grabbed as the battle between Team Skull and Ash started.

Ash sent his Pikachu to the battlefield while the kid next to him sent out a pokemon Julian has never seen before in real life, it's called the Turtonator, and it's a fire/dragon type pokemon.

Julian has read about this pokemon but he isn't interested in getting one of his own, the advantage of having a Turtonator is that it is a pokemon that doesn't evolve, it only has one stage but with its very high base stats at the very beginning, a beginner trainer would have an exceptional time at the start of his career because a Turtonator would allow him to dominate the battlefield early in his career.

Having a high stat at the very beginning of birth and until its growing period allows it to have an advantage over every other pokemon that is of the same level. If Turtonator is around level 10, its fire output is sometimes double or triple times more powerful compared to other pokemon on the same level.

This is indeed great for beginner trainers but the disadvantage of having a pokemon that can evolve is that they won't be as strong as some other pokemons at the late stage of their career.

There is always the argument about a great trainer training a pokemon to its peak and making it very strong but there is also the argument about a great trainer training the best pokemon to its peak and then making it the strongest ever. The difference, of course, being the best pokemon being stronger than a pokemon like Turtonator when they are at their peak.

From what Julian could see this Turtonator is a young one and has not reached its peak, it also seems to have a lot of potential, the only thing stopping it from becoming strong is its trainer.

It won't become the strongest pokemon out there but with a good trainer can at least reach an elite level.

The battle between Ash, the kind, and Team Skull started with Ash taking the lead and like always Pikachu showed blitzing speed appearing as a blur to everyone, Pikachu ran through four pokemons and knocked them out cold with one hit.

At the end of the day, Pikachu is a champion-level pokemon, and the pokemons he is facing at best just above a beginner level, there was no way these pokemons could handle Pikachu's strikes.

Seeing the power displayed by Pikachu, the people around him seem surprised, the kids from Team Skull seemed shocked by this so they decided to attack Turtonator thinking it's the weaker of the two and they are right to think so but attacking it head-on is a stupid decision.

An Alolan Rattata, a Salandit, and a Trubbish rushed towards Turtonator using their respective moves, and to counter Turtonator just turned its spiky shell towards them and used Shell Trap.

Shell Trap is a move only Turtonator can use, the spikes on its back would deal extreme damage to anyone that touches it.

And as the three pokemon crashed into Turtonator shell, they were sent flying through the air and knocked themselves out.
