Journey Towards Greatness

The power behind those synchronized moves was greater than the three kings expected. In the moment of crisis, they were able to bring the most out of their moves, which led to knocking Wailord out before it even landed on them with a Body Slam.

It's been a few minutes now and Wailord is still down but he is showing signs of getting up, lucky for the other three kings, they didn't have to wait any longer as Wailord finally opened his eyes and glared angrily at the other three kings.

Though he feels very weak right now, he is ready to attack again. He thought he was a goner after he took that attack head-on, but he is surprised to see himself alive, and now that he is alive, he won't waste his time fighting with these idiots.

He will try to make a run for his life and to do that, he needs to distract them. After that, he will make a run for his life and dive as deep as possible. There is no way these three will be able to follow it deep down the ocean as the pressure down there will be too much for them to handle.

His body is made for deep diving, so he should be fine.

As he is about to open his mouth and launch another attack to distract the three kings, he was stopped by Kingdra.

Kingdra [WAIT!!! We are not here to fight.]

Kingdra shouted.

Wailord stopped and stared at Kingdra, wondering what he is babbling about.

Wailord [Don't bullshit me, the three of you grouping up and rushing into my territory! Do you think I am an idiot?]

Wailord expressed his thoughts, and he was not wrong to think so. Three kings of Alolan sea teaming up and entering his territory is a scary thought.

Kingdra [Look, it's really not what it looks like. We are actually here to ask for cooperation.]

Wailord [Cooperation? What Cooperation? I don't want to cooperate, get the fuck out of my territory.]

Samurott [You wouldn't be saying that in a few days.]

Samurott said.

Wailord [What do you mean by that?]

Golisopod [It's the intruder. We are worried about him.]

Wailord [The intruder? Hahaha, you fucking pussies. You got scared just because of one intruder?]

Wailord started to laugh at the three kings, seeing them chicken out and join hands just because an intruder has entered their kingdom.

Golisopod [I wouldn't be laughing if I knew what we are going up against]

Wailord [Hahaha, I am so scaredddd!! I might even join this little group to defeat just ONE pokemon, hahahaha.]

Wailord continued to laugh.

Kingdra [It's a Gyarados]

Wailord suddenly stopped laughing as he knows that a Gyarados is big trouble but he is still very confident in his abilities.

Wailord [Hahaha, so what if it's a Gyarados? I have defeated multiple Gyarados throughout my life; I don't need to team up with you chumps.]

Kingdra [It's over 15 meters long]

As soon as these words came out of Kingdra's mouth, Wailord's laughter stopped and for the first time, it became serious.

A regular Gyarados is already a very dangerous pokemon, the Gyarados King that it defeated was a full-grown Gyarados that was 7.5 meters long and 7.5 is considered very big for a Gyarados as a regular Gyarados is only about 6.5 meters long.

To defeat the previous king Gyarados, Wailord had to put all his effort into it. He risked his life to fatally wound the Gyarados and then use a special berry to recover and finish the job.

And now Kingdra says there is a 15-meter-long Gyarados in the Alolan sea, Wailord is shaken. He knows better than anyone how vicious Gyaradoses really are.

And a 15-meter one, Wailord has never seen or even heard of something this big before. Wailord doesn't show it, but he is panicking inside.

Wailord [Are you sure?]

Kingdra [I saw it with my own eyes. It's big and red. That is why we want to take it out. That thing is a danger to our rule. If we don't team up, we will lose everything.]

Wailord [Fine, we will attack tomorrow at dusk. We all exhausted our energy fighting each other. It's better to rest and fight this thing at full strength.]

Kingdra [All right, you three meet me at Melemele island tomorrow at dusk.]

Now that everyone has come to an agreement, the kings went back to their own kingdoms to prepare for the war tomorrow.

While all this happened behind Gyarados' back, Gyarados is chilling on his own in the warm waters of Melemele island while getting used to his surrounding.

But what surprised Gyarados was that he received no backlash from the top dogs of this sea, he thought the ruler of this sea would confront him and he will have to take them out but it looked like, he won't have the pleasure to squash some pokemon royalties.

Gyarados 'These pokemons are smarter than I thought, they knew not to risk their lives for territory'

Gyarados thought and swam around, looking for something to eat. There is plenty of food here, so he won't go hungry.
