'How annoying. So annoying,' was the only thought Weiss had in mind when he and Fallon got caught up in a certain situation outside the cafe moments ago.

Apparently, there'd been a mob. After learning that almost half of the Student Elite Society was going to that coffee shop for a group study, a handful number of students, who're all part of their fan club, had come to take a look. And as it turned out, they found the two of them stalling around in front of the store.

They were just about to go inside when these fan club members decided to steal a bit of their time.

"Hey, everyone! Weiss and Fallon are here!"

"What?! They're here too?!"

"Not only the SES?!"

"You gotta be joking! Are you serious?!"

"My, today's a lucky day!"

"So many eye candies in one place!"

Weiss truly, truly hates this kind of situation.

But there was nothing they could do. They had already been trapped in the middle of the crowd. And both of them have a reputation to maintain. They could not just shove them away.

'The best thing to do is to trick them into leaving,' was the plan that Weiss came up with.

So, with a bright, gleaming smile on his face, he tries to keep up the 'son-of-the-chairman' act for as long as he can. He did most of the talking since Fallon was too aggravated to even use his mouth on them. It's better that way, though, especially now that he knows how rude he can be when he's not in the mood. Weiss was able to cut the interaction short in the end.

Yet, by that time, the worst had already happened.

"Apologize! Now!" they heard Bryce shout the moment they entered.

They witnessed how Lady struggled to break free from what seemed like a tight, painful grip – only to tumble backward and bumped into her table. They witnessed how Lady was struck by shock and dread at the mess it had caused. They witnessed how Lady tried to hold back her tears at the sight.

And then, they snapped.

Fallon was the first to lunge in. He had gone straight for Bryce, stepping into the scene with a furious expression as his greeting. Weiss remained composed. He had wanted to engage in violence himself, but he knew he was never good in that kind of stuff.

So, he lets his own way of making them pay form in his head instead.

It didn't take long before Weiss came up with a complete scheme. He then strode forward and joined Fallon's side.

Their upperclassmen looked stunned when they saw him – petrified, too.

'Must be the face I'm making. Oh, well.'

He knows he is still smiling, and yet, he has still come out scary. That's their problem, though – not his. He's got better things to do than to mind how they see him.

"I have no idea that the SES is filled with this kind of students. Does the academy always have such a low standard? I feel quite ashamed as the next head," Weiss remarked – and the blizzard got worse.

"W-W-What? Y-Y-You gonna report us or something?" Orion dared to say.

Weiss turns to face him then. Perturbed by the cold, calculating look in his eyes, Orion sweatdrops.

"Report…?" he snorted before walking closer to him and leaning close to his ear, voice lowered down in a harsh whisper.

"What's the need of that if I can just eliminate you myself?"

Orion went as stiff as a rock, but Weiss was far from finished.

He'd definitely make them pay twofold. He'd absolutely show no mercy.

"I don't think you understand at all, you fool..." he muttered in his ear with a low growl – if his tone was cold before, then it's downright frosty now.

"Let me make something very clear to you. If you ever insult my girl again, or god forbid you do something to hurt her, I will personally hack into the system and make sure you never receive another passing grade. From that point on, whether you drop out of school or get kicked out, it's up to you."

All color had drained out of Orion's face. Glenn, who was just right beside him, had heard everything and went ghastly pale too.

"Oh, of course, that applies to all your buddies here…" Weiss sneered.

"I'll let you share the news with them. Make sure they understand so they won't be too surprised when they found a bunch of 'F' on their records. I already memorized your names and faces. None shall be left out. I promise."

And with that, he stepped away and beamed at Orion – looking all smiley and sparkly again. He, along with Glenn, made an attempt to give a response. But one stern look from Weiss, and both instantly got the warning.

Their frames shriveled – almost as if their souls had just left their bodies.

"Fallon…" he called, turning to Fallon who still wasn't done tormenting Bryce.

"Please, don't shed blood here. It's hard to clean up a crime scene. Besides, we can always hunt them down at any day."

"Get serious, Weiss…" he scoffed while Weiss simply cocked his head to the side.

"I don't want them dead. That's too easy. I want them to suffer much longer."

"By breaking his bones?"

"Without killing him, yes."

Bryce shuddered, wondering just how they could discuss a murder scheme so casually - and with all these people around. Now, even Art and Travis were backing out. From the side, Glenn and Orion looked like they wanted to flee at that moment.

The others made sure to stay far away so as to not get involved any further.

'Hey, you useless punks, do something! My jaw's in danger of getting snapped here!' was basically what his pleading look was telling them, but even then, no one moved an inch.

Bryce could barely stand the pain from having his face clenched so firmly like this, and as if that was not enough, Fallon still had to glare at him like how a ravening predator would to its feeble prey. Not to mention, Weiss is just right behind him, flashing Bryce a cold-blooded, wry smile.

"Break it, Fallon."

"Sure thing."

It finally came. He braced himself for impact.

"You guys, knock it off…" said Lady with an exhausted sigh, causing Fallon to stop.

"This is no big deal. Let's just go."

She wiped off the coffee stain on her skirt with a napkin before doing the same on the table and picking up her things. Turning to the barista who she knew was hiding behind the counter the whole time, she then said, "Sorry for the mess," and started to make her way to the door. She did not spare a single glance to any of them as she just went on ahead and took her leave.

Everybody could only watch. Nobody made a sound.

Lady looked emotionless. Sarah felt sorry.

She tried to open her mouth, suddenly feeling the inexplicable urge to stop her, but the word would not come out. She had no right to tell her what to do, anyway. She understood why she would want to get out of there at once.

"Lady," Weiss called worriedly, and with that, Fallon finally let go of Bryce.

They trailed after Lady – but not without giving one final look of warning to their upperclassmen. They also glanced in Sarah's direction for the briefest second before continuing on their way.

"Hey, Lady…" Fallon muttered, displeased to see the state that Lady was in.

"Slow down. You're hurt-"

Then, she stopped.

She had just opened the door when she had suddenly come to a halt. They both stared at her in confusion. It was not until they looked past her that it had occurred to them – she stopped because of the mob outside. The same students from earlier have actually stayed and are now blocking their way.

"Oh, my goodness!"

"Ms. Mireille?"

"What happened?!"

"Your… Y-Your clothes."

"How terrible!"

"Are you okay?"

"Here! I have tissues!"

Unlike the people they look up to, these fan club members actually have a heart.

They did look revolted when they saw Lady's condition. But they also showed worry and concern. Weiss and Fallon kind of regret thinking bad of them earlier. They actually ended up helping even though they chose to stay.

"Did someone do this to you?! Were you robbed or something?! A gang, maybe?! Oh, God! What was the SES doing?! I thought they were there! They're with you, right?!" one of the students rambled on, coming up with one assumption after another.

Silence fills them when Lady lets out a sob. Weiss and Fallon watch in total nonplus.

And when she started shedding tears, looking all sad and pitiful, they finally understood what she was going for.

They know Lady well enough at this point. So, they also know when Lady's acting or not.

Those are fake tears.

"A-Actually, e-everyone…" Lady said in between sobs and sniffles, impressing Weiss and Fallon even more.

"I-I'm… I'm heartbroken to say this… I-I was shocked myself, but… The truth is, it's the SES… T-They… They poured coffee all over me."
