Lady Spring

Chapter 4.3

Why was she stammering like an idiot? She wanted to slap herself for being such a nerd. Her mouth was so dry that she couldn’t speak normally. Wooyoung looked down at her and expertly removed her shirt and bra.

“I’m going to be patient and wait until you learn to hold it longer.”
“But men can’t…”

When Saeun suddenly closed her mouth shut, Wooyoung chuckled and laid on top of her. He was still fully clothed, and when he rubbed himself on her lazily, Saeun gasped loudly.

“Were you going to say men can’t control themselves? Usually, it’s true and it applies to me too. But the timing isn’t right. If it involved a boring partner, I would want to satisfy myself quickly and be done with it, but it’s different with you. Just watching you gives me pleasure.”

He hugged her and rolled to his side. She was in his arms comfortably and when he covered her with the blanket, Saeun glanced down at his pants, which were visibly wet. She knew it was because of her. It looked like his erection was going to push a hole through his pants. Wooyoung had to be very uncomfortable.

“You… are going to sleep in your clothes?”
“If I take them off, I will want to take you, so just shut up. Don’t tempt me.”

He flicked her forehead. Saeun yelped and rubbed her forehead while glaring at him. Wooyoung smiled and ordered,

“Hurry up and sleep.”

His large hands held her shoulders and pulled them closer. When was the last time she fell asleep in someone’s arms? Perhaps it was when she was very young, but she couldn’t remember.

The light was still on in the room. She needed to turn it off, but she lazily watched the fluorescent bulb on the ceiling. She was so tired that she couldn’t move a muscle. Wooyoung was warmer than her heating pad. Her place was a cozy, but she often felt cold when she was alone. But tonight, she was so warm that she didn’t think she needed the blanket.

“If we keep the light on all night, I’m gonna get a huge utility bill…”

When she murmured sleepily, Wooyoung grumbled a little before pushing the blanket aside and rising. Her body suddenly felt icy cold, so she grabbed his shirt and begged,

“I’m cold. Don’t go.”
“I’ll just turn off the light and come back.”

He rubbed his lips on hers slowly before leaving the bed. When he turned the light off, the world darkened around her. Then, Wooyoung returned just as he promised.

Eros, Psyche’s faceless lover.

Saeun didn’t know why she thought of this story suddenly, but the shadowy man who was embracing her now reminded her of Eros. Psyche had two evil sisters, which made Saeun realize that she was perhaps in a similar situation. Psyche was sent to the devil, but it turned out that that devil was Eros who fell in love with her…

But Eros fell for Psyche because he was stabbed by his own arrow of love like an idiot. Saeun thought that Eros had to have an antidote for his own spell. If so, why didn’t he use it on himself? If he did, he wouldn’t have had to try so hard to marry the woman his mother hated. Well, of course in the end, it was Psyche who had to go through hell for it all.

In Saeun’s case, it was like she was shot by Wooyoung’s arrow of sex instead of the arrow of love. But strangely, he didn’t take his own pleasure from her. She thought men couldn’t stop themselves, so how did Wooyoung control himself for the past two days? He pleasured her so much, yet he didn’t take anything in return.

Maybe he really didn’t like women who orgasmed too quickly. Maybe he was really waiting for her to get better at it. But didn’t men like women who climaxed quickly and easily? Because she thought it made them feel like they were good at sex. So why wasn’t this the case with Wooyoung…

She no longer felt sleepy. Saeun blinked in the dark and stared at Wooyoung. When her eyes became used to the darkness, she could see him vaguely. Messy hair that touched his neck, the chin with a cut from the fight, his full pink lips that looked like they were made from the red playdough, his nose and eyes, and his long eyelashes that shadowed his cheeks.

Omg. She was actually having sex with a famous star who frequently appeared on TV. Well, to be exact, it was just oral sex and Clinton once claimed oral sex wasn’t real sex.
So then, what was she doing with him?

She blushed again. Exhaling slowly, she placed her forehead on his chest. Even in his sleep, his arms immediately pulled her closer.

Whatever their relationship was, Saeun felt happy. She was so happy that she never wanted to let him go. She didn’t know why Wooyoung was doing this, but she didn’t care. All she wanted was for him to stay here with her just like this. She could work hard and be the breadwinner while he stayed home and waited for her all day. He would smile at her and treasure her. They would chat about this and that, and they would eat and laugh together…

“I must be going crazy.”

She murmured and to her surprise, Wooyoung jolted. He caressed her bare shoulder gently and asked,

“Why?”

She shook her head. She could never tell him this. What she actually needed to ask was when he was going to leave, but she didn’t have the courage to do so. What if he said tomorrow? The day after tomorrow? In a week? In a month?

A month? There was no way. At most, she expected him to stay for the week. A popular star like him couldn’t just disappear weeks at a time. Besides, Strawberry Fields’ newest album was released only a few weeks ago. He needed to be out there promoting it.

Feeling his warm breath on her cheek, Saeun closed her eyes. She didn’t want to think about anything. However long this was going to last, there was nothing she could do about it. All she could do was enjoy it while it lasted, so she could treasure the memories of this time for the rest of her life.
