Last Man On Earth When There Is No Earth ?

her name is Lilia

and she is from a planet called Zesion?

yeah , I know ,she isn't a devil. what did you expect ? a s.u.c.c.u.b.u.s wearing a white dress ? besides the place is a little comfortable to call it hell. and although she has horns , she looks more of the serious , innocent type .

among the questions she asked not long ago was one I misinterpreted . she asked how to get out of here , I thought she referred to the room we were in, but sometime after following her , we easily left the construction. most of it was underground , buried under layers of rocks and dirt and the surface is covered with a dense forest with trees too long to see the top .

when I asked , Lilia told me the sun is still up , but with the polola trees around it's hard to tell .

the polola , from what I understood , are the trees with the really big leafs . the largest of those that fell to the ground is about the size of an a.d.u.l.t male , a really large , muscular male .

whenever one was in the way , Lilia would poke it with her knife spear thing then shove it aside .

as a general rule , this is a thing to do in such large forests after all the types of beasts that use them as a camouflage can't be counted on both hands .

after walking for about a half hour we arrived at a gigantic tree . Lilia sat on the log sized root and took out a small box.

inside it was a about ten rectangular bars grey in color . put one in her mouth and passed another to me .

" it's a protein bar " she took a bite " we got a long way ahead of us"

that brought to mind how so not hungry I'm . I just woke up , and this " protein bar " isn't exactly what you would wish for after escaping death .

nevertheless , I ate the thing in less than a minute , and thirty seconds later I felt so full I was about to puke

" is it your first time eating this ?" said Lilia

" yeah , I don't think I like it "

" well , it's an emergency ration so nothing to do about it " she took another bit " it was designed to multiply after dissolving for sometime , it also contains a lot of dry water so if you aren't a big eater it will feel like you ate three days worth of meals ."

while my mind was occupied trying to process what she meant by 'dry water ' Lilia chewed the last bite , she stood up and took something else from the bag

" it would be dangerous to go on with b.a.r.e legs "

looking around her for a moment she picks one of the leafs scattered on the ground , tear it into two then fold each of it before placing it on the ground again

" step on it for a second "

I do as she said , the folded peaces were nearly the same size as my foot which , of course , is a little scary .

crouching down , Lilia brought forth the thing she took out just now and pressed some button on it's top

whatever it was spraying from it , it formed a thick layer on my right from the knee to under the foot . she did the same with my left leg .

what a convenient tool . it somewhat reminds me of a movie I saw when I was a child .

"um ...thanks "

" it's supposed to be a first aid spray for broken bones , but it's easier to remove since it would expire soon "

it's kinda embarrassing , having the girl I just met take care of me like this . all the while being n.a.k.e.d under a cloak .

ugh .... this will make really painful memories .

speaking of memories , it's about time I start remembering . I'm freaked by the fact that I have yet to feel what one is expected to feel in this kind of situation . I mean , I don't even remember my name and I'm ,like , whatever .

maybe it's just part of who I'm

she is really beautiful ...

yeah right

one thing for sure , I'm smart enough to know the girl leading the way is way out of my league . no chance at all .and that knowledge made things easier as I never had any d.e.s.i.r.e for her to begin with .

well , my body doesn't share the same thought as me , but I can live with that .

from the giant tree onwards we walked three hours straight , no breaks , no small talk , just walking .

soon we arrived at a spot with much less vegetation . for the eyes of a city boy and a professional shut in it's easier to see what happened here than you would think

the open aria is half a football stadium in size , the grass gets shorter and shorter going forward . all the surrounding trees had scorching marks and at the center , it was laying there
