Leave The Monster Alone

Not only was the other not a human but also had him under control of her powers. That was not something En was into and he had a fiance anyway. He did not need another to touch him in that way.

"You wanna use me? Try me bitch" for the first time such a curse for a female escaped his mouth.

Shiro did not enjoy those words at all. They enraged her enough to make her attack with much more power than before. And she was not the only one who changed their tempo either. The corps that had done nothing till now began to attack with even more vigour. 

One caught En at his side and it began to bleed. He had taken to wearing a bullet-proof vest just in case such a situation arrived but it did nothing to save his poor side from the attack. The zombies were changing faster than En could keep track of

"Bitch? Me? How dare you! I'll kill you. Kill you and use your body as a puppet, you hear me" The female cried out in an enraged voice. Her volume and tone shook the whole place up. It was still difficult to move, his body betraying him at every step but En did manage to avoid most attacks. 

It was mostly thanks to the adrenaline inside his veins that helped him keep himself more vigilant and break the hold. 

It burned inside to fight the poison and it did not allow him to directly shoot the female but every blow dealt with a controlled soldier was a blow to the female. Sooner or later she will run out of her shields to protect her. That will be when En ends her. 

"Die" The female moved. One second she was behind a sea of bodies, the very next second she was at his side. En braced the impact of her kick with his arms and still the impact hurt. At least nothing broke which was a miracle with the way it hurt to move. 

"How pathetic. Is this all humanity is made up of? One attack and you go down like a tower without it's support. Tell me, how are you going to defeat me like this?" The female gloated. She stood above En in a victorious pose, her blank eyes looking down at her victim. 

It was a frustrating defeat for En one he had to expect out of someone like this non-human beast. En neither had special strength nor enhancement to go against her at any rate. All he had was his determination. 

Well, that and his secret weapon which he had never expected to ever use. But this was the time to use it. He had to either do it now or he would regret it forever. 

Unknown to him, a small and bitter smile made its way on his face which confused the female. Just what could be that amusing to the other? Since she had changed species, she had lost significant emotional receptors and things became confusing for her. 

To her eyes there seemed to be no difference between bitter tears and tears of joy. So it was no surprise that she lost her temper at the other. Was she being mocked by him? What gave him the right to judge her and to look like that? 

"Find something amusing? Why don't you speak for the last time before you die? This is the last mercy I'm willing to give you. And then we'll take your body to your friend Mark to show him as well. How about it? Won't it be the perfect revenge for my sister?" The female waited for the other to say his last words. She was excited for them as well. 

Finally, she will have something over Mark as Mark had over her, the final words of someone important to the other and she could not wait to torment the other over this. 

"G-go to hell. Y-you and this everyone" The female shrieked in rage, her eyes going red at the anger she felt. 

En took the last deep breath he could and he brought out a small crystal from inside his wrist. This was his last chance to end this since the female was far too dangerous to allow to live. 

System code: red

Beginning self-destruction sequence. The blast will go live in 60 seconds. Everyone is cautioned to escape while they can.

Warning: will not work on threat level 4 and above. 

The female was not threat level 4 yet. She was not at the power level of a divine beast yet, she had not progressed enough through the story. The system bomb had been modified according to level as well. Once they reached the core stage, then they would modify the bomb to include higher classes.

At least that was the initial plan. En would have to look at it from outside since this was his end. The bomb would use him as a catalyst and end things right now. 

"You are a horrible person, trying to hide away from me. But you can only hide and not run" The sea of zombies cleared sm, more like cleaved and a somewhat familiar figure entered. 

En took a few seconds to recognise him and when he did a could not help but gasp at the other. This was the dignitary who had been fake kidnapped by Mark and Alan. What was he doing here? Should he not be outside with the resistance right now? Or at least somewhere safe? 

Did he not know this place was dangerous. 

The female in front of him tried to run away from the explosion that was about to happen but had a whip wrapped around her wrist the very next second. 

"You are going nowhere" The female tried to free herself but it was all for nought. The dignitary did not even move an inch. 

"Rub away. Hurry up and get out. This place is going to blow up in the next minute" En warned the other who frowned. Then his features shifted into an animalistic firm with scales and the realisation came a little later than it should have. 

'A divine beauty but it was too late to do anything. The timer hit zero and the crystal exploded.

Those who were caught in the explosion let out a yelp. The light made it impossible for anyone to see anything but when it cleared only one person was standing there. 

"I bate humans and their inventions. They are so troublesome" Fidi complained as he took in the damage that had occurred. He had survived but the same could not be said for other people. The zombies had been pulverized and the weird female laid face down. 

Fidi checked on her first and found her alive. Her defence mechanism had activated at the last second which was the only reason she was alive right now. 

The same could not be said for the young man who had warned him of the explosion. He had, unfortunately, died in the explosion. His body was getting colder and the breath was not reaching his chest at all. 

And his life energy had exhausted itself which meant there was no way he could come back from this. 

"Too bad. Now it's time for you to due as well" Fidi turned toward the female who had not woken up and now he will make sure she never would wake up. Her time was over. 

His whip struck like a snake, but not to the female. It met the floor at the side of the body and cracked it from the impact force. 

"I'm sorry but I cannot allow that to happen. She still has a use for me so kindly back off. And Fidi, if I were you then I would think of an excuse right now. The person lying against your feet? He's someone precious to Mark after all" The one who has obstructed the blow had been Nathan. 

The other strolled out of the shadows, his steps confident and everlasting in the wake of the attack he had parried away. He wordlessly made his way toward the female and observed her. 

She was not dead yet but she would be soon.  Her complexion was fading faster and the other placed his hand on her head. The very next second her complexion got better and her breathing got easier as well. 

All of a sudden, the female looked alright once again and she would be upon her feet. Fidi tensed but Nathan did not do anything else. 

He just took the female in his arms and left with an amused smile. The feeling of unrest would not leave Fidi though but he could do nothing at all. He picked up the other body, ready to get it to Mark.

It felt ironic to deliver this news to Mark after the other's encounter with his sister which Fidi tried to not think about. After all, they were not blood-related, just bound by the words spoken long ago. 

And now someone else had lost their brother as well.
