Legendary Shadow

Liam sat on the side watching other people's battles, he was quite impressed with some of their techniques. It was finally Liams turn to come on stage to face off against his next opponent who was also considered a runner-up.

The crowd got excited as they thought this was going to be a good battle. They all started putting in their bets. Liam had given Whitney a lot of money to bet on all his battle.  

The match started as the guy brought out a Typhlosion, Furret and a Noctowl. Liam was surprised by this lineup. Typhlosion was level 70 while Furret and Noctowl were respectively level 50. Liam decided to go with Omastar, Kabutops, and Eevee. 

The guy was laughing when he saw Eevee and said:" you brought this puny pre-evolved form Pokemon as the vanguard you're going to regret it". Eevee was angry as she started cursing him out in her poke language but nobody understood what she was saying but the opponent's Pokemon did and they got very offended and mad.  

The referee saw this and started the match so that he could get out of the way. The opponent's Pokemon were so mad they all charged towards Eevee at the same time. The guy kept telling them to stop but they were in so much rage that they ignored him. 

Eevee's taunt had worked as she told the other two in the back to charge up a good Ice Beam for her. Just when they were about to all clash together to attack Eevee, Eevee had disappeared into the ground causing them all to stand there in shock. 

They started to feel some chill in the air as they looked up and saw a huge Ice Beam coming towards them. Kabutops and Omastar had combined Ice Beams in order to give it a maximum effect. 

This attack froze over the whole team, Noctowl and Furret had fainted, but Typhlosion quickly blasted himself out with his fire through the ice, as he came out breathing heavily. Typhlosion didn't even have time to relax as Eevee came from under him and blasted him with a shadow ball that hit him straight in the jaw making him faint.

The whole crowd went crazy as they started cheering for Liam the masked man. Everybody was in love with Liam after that battle and immediately put him as a runner-up. 

People started to bet on Liam, those that had bet on the Typhlosion guy were pretty pissed off that they had lost their money, but the battles had to continue as Jim, Liam, Kate, and Jar slowly made their way up to the top. 

Everybody was being eliminated and some people were even using these battles as a training ground as some of their Pokemons had evolved during the matches. The matches continued in a quick fashion until there were only four left.

The first match was going to be Liam versus Jim and after that, it was going to be Kate vs Jar. Liam went up to the stage as he was trying to decide who to send out. 

After seeing how strong Jim's Pokemons were, Liam decided to bring out his older Pokemons for this match. Liam didn't know what level Jim's third Pokemon was since he never brought it out but he figured he should still be prepared and bring Shadow on this just in case. 

Shadow was in Liams shadow when he got the call to be on standby for a battle. The match started as Jim brought out Scizor and Slowking. 

Liam wanted to hurry up and end this match so he brought out Dragonite and Eevee. Jim was confused by this as he said:" you don't want to bring out your third Pokemon"? Liam responded by asking"  why aren't you bringing yours out then"?  

Jim just smirked as he said "okay but don't regret this"  and then went on to give his orders. Scizor was boosting up his speed while Slowking was also giving him an attack boost. 

Liam was surprised by their teamwork and thought maybe he should have a support Pokemon that boosts his strikers in case they ever had to do some teamwork battling. 

Eevee used growl which lowered the opponent attacks down and Dragonite used agility to also up his speed. Scizor couldn't wait any longer as he charged towards them. 

Dragonite also approached Scizor and due to the level difference, Dragonite was slightly faster and way stronger than Scizor. Just when Dragonite used Fire Punch on Scizor, Scizor was able to dodge it but the strike was so powerful that it had caught Scizor's wings on fire. 

Scizor quickly beat his wings extremely quick but the flame just ignited from the wind so Slowking had to come to his rescue as he used a water gun on him clearing out the fire.  

Before Slowking could do anything a thunderbolt came and struck him while he was busy trying to help his partner out. Slowking immediately fainted while Eevee had come from behind Scizor and used body slam, and charged up a Shadow Ball attack and slammed it into Scizors back.  

Eevee quickly ran away after getting the message from Dragonite that he was about to finish Scizor off with a Flamethrower. Eevee quickly ran away which confused Scizor, but he started feeling some extreme heat coming towards him. 

Scizor looked up and saw that a flamethrower had been unleashed as it struck Scizor making him faint. Jim was so surprised that his Pokemon had gotten beaten so quickly as a grinded his teeth and thought this was going to be a three against one match.
