Legendary Shadow

After telling the townsfolk that he would be leaving, Liam boarded Latios as they rushed off to the Johto region. After a few hours of traveling at high speed, they arrived in Johto as they passed by the New Bark Town. They could see flashing lights near Cherry Grove City. As they went closer, they noticed that Green and Red were battling the Legendary fire dog Pokémon Entei. Liam landed right away close to the battle as he saw that Red and Green's Pokémon had just been defeated and it seemed like they had used up all their Pokémon to fight Entei, but he was way too powerful

Entei noticed Liam right away and roared at him as if engaging in battle with Liam. Liam pulled out his Pokedex and checked Entei's level. Level 200. Liam was excited to take Entei on officially. Liam wanted only to use 1 Pokeball and catch Entei, so he had no intention of holding back as he summoned Shadow, Mewtwo, Ditto, Tyranitar, and Dragonite. 

Entei got a little annoyed, but with a mighty roar, it caused all of Liam's Pokémon attack stat to go down as they shrieked a little bit. The pure power displayed was scary, but Liam didn't back down as he stepped up, causing his other Pokémon to have confidence as they also stepped up and got ready to fight.

Red and Green were surprised to see Liam all of a sudden come out of nowhere, and when they tried to approach him, he just ignored them as if they weren't there and went straight for the battle. Entei used Flamethrower as the fire came towards Liam and his Pokémon. Mewtwo put up a Psychic barrier blocking the attack. In response, Shadow used Shadow Movement and appeared behind Entei and used Hydro Pump to launch a beam of water at Entei's back, but Entei sensed it and dodged it. 

Ditto had appeared on the side as he transformed into Suicune, which surprised Entei a little before he smiled and realized that it wasn't the true Suicune. Still, that distraction was all Liam needed as Tyranitar came out of nowhere and used Earthquake, which shook Entei while also doing some damage to him. Just when he was about to attack Tyranitar, Shadow came out of nowhere and used Hydro Pump. It was a direct hit as it knocked Entei down onto the ground.

Entei started to get up slowly because it was a super-effective hit; it had weakened considerably. But still, he was a legendary Pokémon. It wasn't just going to lose to a few hits like that, but suddenly Entei felt a threat as a small black hole opened up, and he got scared as he tried to the flee, but a Hyper Beam had already been shot off as it hit the back of Entei causing him to faint. This was none other than Giratina's hyper beam. Shadow had opened up a portal to his world to unleash it on Entei.

Green and Red stood on the side, beyond shocked as they watched Liam take out a Poke ball with fire prints on it and throw it at Entei. And just like that, Entei was caught and added to Liam's Pokedex. "Hey Liam, did you just catch a Legendary Pokémon?" It was then that Liam turned around and noticed that Green and Red were there the whole time as he looked embarrassed and said, "I guess I did." Red and Green had quite a hard time trying to catch or even fight off this legendary Pokémon, but Liam had come and done it in a few minutes.

Liam didn't stick around for too long and just said, "I've got to go" and hopped on Latios. When he was about to leave, Red shouted at him, saying, "Don't you want to catch up?" Liam shook his head and said, "We're not that close. Maybe if you were Gary or Ash, but you two, I don't know. And it seems like you haven't even gotten stronger, so it's not worth it to hang out with you guys." Red was shocked by everything that Liam said as it seemed like his personality had changed, and he was no longer Liam, but Red didn't overthink as he told him, "You're right, we're not that close." Liam didn't say anything as he turned around and left.
