Liam also brought out his Tyranitar. All three of Ace's Pokémon that he brought out were very intimidated by Tyranitar's presence. Mareep shrieked a little while Jumpluff hid behind Espeon. Espeon stood up to Tyranitar with her head held up high as if saying 'I'm not scared of you.' In response, Tyranitar puffed out some smoke from his nose as if saying, 'Bring it on.'

The match had finally begun as the crowd went wild waiting for a great Pokémon battle as they knew the mysterious masked man was somebody extremely strong.

Tyranitar stood there while waiting for his opponents to come towards him. Ace started shouting out commands, "Espeon use Psycho Cut, Mareep use Thunderbolt, Jumpluff use Sleep Powder." All these attacks approached Tyranitar but Tyranitar paid it no mind as he simply used Hyper Beam blasting away all the attacks. They were all canceled out and the beam continued to charge towards the three Pokémon who looked at their opponent in shock as their own attacks were rendered useless against the might of Tyranitar.

The three were blasted off the stage immediately after they had come on shocking Ace and the rest of the world as they thought Ace was a strong contender, but three of his Pokémon were beaten in just one move.

"Those three Pokémon are unable to battle. Trainer Ace has three Pokémon left. Will you bring them out or will you do one-on-one?" asked the referee to Ace who was still in the shock as he returned all three of his Pokémon. He took out three more poke balls and said, "You're quite strong, I like that. But the next three that I am bringing out are no joke. They are my strongest and closest friends. We have been through a lot together. I'm so excited to face off against such a strong opponent."

Liam could only nod his head as he turned away and looked through the crowd to see whether Sheila had come to watch the match, but he could not find her.

Whispering through his mask to Shadow he asked, "Do you know if Sheila is around here with Beth?" Shadow also could not find the two that were most important to his Master, so he decided to use Shadow Movement to go through the crowd and look as he left Liam's side. 

Tyranitar had been battling non-stop and winning battles. Not only was he winning battles, but he was bragging about winning battles to the other Pokémon which they were not too happy about. Lucario wanted to do some battling too but he did not know how to tell Liam as he was a little bit shy.

"Master, I would love to do some battling too," Lucario said, finally finding the courage to ask through their telekinesis. Liam was surprised as he said, "Okay for the next battles I shall allow the newer Pokémon to battle. That way they get some experience. But wait I did not register you guys so unfortunately you cannot, but I promise that next time I'll definitely add you guys and you can battle to your heart's contents and not just each other." Lucario thanked Liam before they went on to focus on the match once again.

Ace brought out his last three Pokémon Typhlosion, Scizor, and Blastoise. Liam was quite surprised by this matchup as it was quite a tough team that he had assembled. He knew Tyranitar would have a bit of a problem with Blastoise but was confident that he would not lose the match and started off once again.

Ace ordered Blastoise to take Tyranitar out by using Hydro Pump. Blastoise's cannon moved an inch aiming straight for Tyranitar as a jet of water blasted out of his cannons which at first was going in a straight line but started to twist and turn as it circled around and combined to become a bigger blast. Tyranitar saw this coming but did not get scared and he quickly used dig to dig into the ground avoiding the attack.

Typhlosion used a flamethrower in the hole that Tyranitar had dug as Ace commanded him once again focusing on the match and not trying to miss a single beat.

Fire and smoke spread fast in the hole that Tyranitar dug and Tyranitar had to come out from his tunnel that he dug and canceled the attack. Ace felt proud seeing that Tyranitar came back out a little burnt but Tyranitar was not going to be injured from such weak fire attacks.

Tyranitar used Rockslide as rocks started floating in the air and went straight towards Blastoise but Scizor came out of nowhere and cut down all the rocks before they could reach Blastoise. Liam was quite impressed with their teamwork. Ace was too as he was standing proud as there were only a few opponents that were able to give Tyranitar a hard time.

Earthquake, one of Tyranitar's most powerful ground moves, was used and Typhlosion was hit and immediately fainted. Blastoise avoided the attack while Scizor flew up into the air flapping his little bug wings.

The referee announced that there were two more Pokémon left on Ace's side as Blastoise once again used his cannons to blast out a Hydro Pump. Seeing this, Tyranitar used Stone edge as a whole bunch of stones cut through the Hydro Pump and landed on Blastoise knocking him out, but the Hydro Pump also hit Tyranitar causing massive damage as he was down to his last knee. Blastoise was knocked out and out of the game and now it was one versus one, Tyranitar vs. Scizor. 

Ace was surprised as he knew that he had gotten a critical hit on Tyranitar but seeing him stand back up, he knew this was not a joke and that this Tyranitar was a real deal. Tyranitar roared to the sky with rage on his mind and heart as his skin started to turn black and his eyes red, as horns formed on his head. He glared towards Scizor who was intimidated, and he started backing up trying to run away. But, suddenly, a rock had hit him straight in the head causing him to pass out making Liam the winner once again.

"Wow" the announcer said out loud. "What a battle we have witnessed today. Just when we thought we would be able to see another Pokémon of our Dark Horse, his Tyranitar pulled through time and time again for him." The crowd was excited as Liam was a mystery and he used only one Pokémon. They could not wait to see the rest of his Pokémon and were in anticipation to see which trainer would be able to at least defeat this Tyranitar.

Liam thanked Ace for the match and Ace did the same as they walked off the stage.
