Lord of the Night

It’s the birthday of the Lord of the Long Night!

It has been one year since the book was published.

I published the book on August 8 last year, and it has been exactly one year today.

Looking back on this year, it feels like it went by too fast.

How did it take only one year?

In one year, I went from having no words to 3.52 million words. Excluding the period before it was put on the shelves, I wrote an average of 10,000 words a day.

Does this speed seem okay?

Think about the four words "Ling Tian Chuan Chuan" that I wrote in April 2009. It has been fifteen and a half years now. Looking back, it is really like a big dream.

In fifteen years, I have written 36 million words.

I feel a great sense of accomplishment.

Haha.

Let's talk about the book "Long Night". I was not well prepared for the book "Long Night" because my hands started to hurt the year before last and I couldn't write anything. I finished it hastily and received treatment for four consecutive months.

It was not until June that I was able to write anything, and then I continued to receive treatment while thinking about new books.

Then I made up my mind. I made a willful decision to write a willful book that I am satisfied with.

So I was very aggressive from the beginning, constantly arguing with everyone in the book reviews, and even wrote a few special words to discourage people, which meant: It’s a pity that if you don’t like it, you can just not read it... See you in the next book.

But what I didn’t expect was that I became friends with many people after arguing with them... Tsk, I didn’t even understand what was going on.

I thought I had offended you all. But...

Of course, some people were driven away by my argument. Hehe... Sorry, I left, buddy.

Then you indulged me all the way to 3.5 million words, and I haven’t even written half of it.

Tsk... I’m pretty awesome for being able to write so much even though my grades are not good.

But I’m also pretty proud. Because this book, in my opinion, is not perfect, but for me, it’s the highest standard.

The quality has basically not changed until now.

It’s okay.

Many old brothers have slowly returned, and they are all very old-fashioned: The last book was not good, let me take a look at this one. And then... they have not left since they came back.

I’m very happy.

I am very pleased that this book has brought me back to my original intention of writing.

Writing is a happy thing.

I have spent this year very fulfilling, calm, happy, and unrestrained. Although in the eyes of outsiders: Where is your unrestrainedness when you lie in front of the table and write for ten hours a day?

But... they don't understand my unrestrainedness. But you do.

Isn't that enough?

So, in the future, I will continue to be calm, fulfilled and happy, and of course I will continue to be unrestrained.

This time next year... I probably won't finish writing, sweat.

I forgot the birthday chapter today... So I wrote it in the early morning, very uneasy, I will correct it next time.

Let us continue to be calm, continue to walk together, and then continue... to argue?

How do you feel about this journey?

I am very satisfied.

I have said too many words of thanks to you, so I won't say anything about your birthday. We are all brothers, so we should be polite.

Happy birthday to the Lord of the Long Night!
