Love is a Sweet Poison

"One thing you need to know about us staff is that we are not picky. I will eat whatever is offered to me. That is one of the reasons that I eat the eggs you offer me." Miyuki smiled and quickly ate the rest of her takoyaki. 

Gabriel opened his package but before he could take a bite Itsuki opened his eyes groggily and looked at the takoyaki. "That looks amazing!"

Chuckling Gabriel held out the package to him. "You can have half of it and the other half will be for Mayumi." 

"Half is more than enough for me!" Itsuki looks at the takoyaki and slowly eats three of them and happily swings his legs.

Miyuki looks down at Itsuki smiling and eats a few more bites. "Thank you for this treat. Honestly it is the tastiest thing I have had in a while and there is nothing better then eating good food."

"Then I am glad that I bought it for you and that you enjoyed it as much as you are." Gabriel looks over and Amelia and wraps his arm around her shoulders. He leans over and whispers in her ear, "I love you to the moon and back." 

Amelia turns her head slightly and her lips gently touch his and she looks away quickly blushing. "I… I love you too. Thank you for the food but you should eat if you do not want for it to get cold." 

"I did not buy any for myself. I got the rest for the guys that are hard at work at the hospital making medicines. They are making my life a little easier and for that I want to show my gratitude." Gabriel moves a strand of hair that had fallen into Amelia's eyes and pushed it behind her ear. "There is nothing that can block your beautiful face from me."

Miyuki had covered Itsuki's eyes and closed her eyes so as to not disturb her Master and Mistress. The carriage slowly pulled to a stop in front of the hospital and the door opened. "We have arrived, Young Master." 

Gabriel stepped out and held out his hand for Amelia. "Come with me my love. My father will want to do a check up on you and I am sure that Aiko would like to see that you have colour back in your face." 

Amelia stepped down with her hand in his and the two walked up the step to the building. She looked at Gabriel as he had decided that he would not allow Kosuke to come and assist him in carrying the takoyaki inside. "You are very self sufficient. You seem to like to do things on your own and not allow others to help when that is their job." 

Aiko rushed towards them and saw that Amelia had colour in her face. She was relieved until she looked at Amelia's wrists. "Oh my goodness. Amelia what happened!?"

Amelia looked at Aiko, "there is not much that I can do about what happened but a classmate of mine tried to attack me and Gabriel was able to save me. I am only bruised so there is not a major alarm and I will recover from this." 

"I was going to apply some bruise cream but we got distracted at the market. I will take her to the medicine room and apply some now." Gabriel leads Amelia to the medicine room and the two enter. 

Subaru and Kazuki look up. "Welcome back, Baby Bro. It is good that you have returned. I was going to tell Subaru that we were done until your return." 

Gabriel lets Amelia sit on the chair before he starts hunting for the bruise cream. He takes it out and walks back to her and gently applies the cream to her wrists. "This might hurt a little and I am sorry for that." 

Subaru looks at the bruises on Amelia's wrists in shock. "My goodness. That is such a sad thing to see. Are you alright Amelia?"

"I will be fine. Thank you for worrying about me, Subaru. It is not as bad as it looks. It is just bruising." Amelia flinches a little as Gabriel rubs the cream into the bruises. 

"Thank you for showing Subaru what was needed. We will need more of the bruise cream and sleeping medicine, unless you already made more of the sleeping medicine?" Seeing as she had cringed he stopped and moved to the lighter areas. "There is a package of takoyaki for each of you." 

Kazuki moved first and grabbed one and started to devour it. "Well I guess I should've been nicer to you." 

"Thank you for your kindness, I will gladly eat some. Did Itsuki get some already?" Subaru moved closer and grabbed a package.

Aiko came to the door and watched the process after she had informed Saito Sensei that the Young Master and Mistress had returned. "Takoyaki? It smells fabulous." 

"There is one for you and my father when he comes here. I know that he wanted to do a check up on Amelia before we went home. As for your question Subaru, I made sure the both children share a package." Gabriel finishes the first wrist and starts on the second on moving carefully over the darker bruises. 

Clarence walked into the room and looked down at Amelia and Gabriel. "Aiko told me what happened and rushed here once I finished what I was working on. How are you feeling?"
