Love is a Sweet Poison

Gabriel gently woke up Amelia. "We are able to stand outside and stretch. You may have been sleeping, but I think that it would be wise for you to stretch out all of your muscles." He lightly shook her shoulder. 

Her eyes opened and looked up at him sleepily. "Okay, Dear. I will get up." Amelia sat up and did a little stretch inside before they got out and Amelia stretched bigger and hugged Gabriel. "This is the longest I have ever travelled. 

"It won't be the last time that I ask you to travel with me. I want to keep you close when I have to go and see Subaru. I will help him from time to time in gathering the herbs." He kisses her on the forehead. "Are you hungry?"

Kosuke smiles and comes around the carriage. "Congratulations to both of you. I am sorry that I do not have more than words to offer the both of you." He bowed but was happy.

"Since we have stopped I think eating would be a good idea. Kosuke, you are the one driving us to the location that Gabriel picked out. I think that in its self is a gift that only you could give us." Amelia smiled and tried to get Kosuke from bowing.

"Rise my friend. You did me a huge favour by getting everything loaded and even planned how to get to our destination. I agree with Amelia that this is a gift that only you could gift to us." Gabriel brought the big basket out and laid down the blanket that was on top. He started to set up the three meals.

Amelia came and sat next to Gabriel and smiled happily. "Kuma sure did an amazing job packing up a lunch for us. Was this part of the plan?" 

Kosuke smiles and comes over, "I believe that at first it was supposed to be something that you could eat on the go, but I mentioned to Kuma that we will have to stop and rest the horses, so it became a picnic meal in the end. I hope that I did not interfere?" 

"Nonsense, you did great. The air is perfect out here for Amelia and the weather is lovely for a picnic." Gabriel looked happily and finished distributing the food. "Besides it is best that Amelia is not stuck in the carriage for so long." 

"Dear, I would be fine sitting although I am glad that I get to be out in the open and sitting here with you. It is beautiful with all the trees along the way." She picks up the chopsticks, "itadakimasu." 

The guys chime in and start eating and drinking the water. "I noticed that you drank a lot of sake. How are you feeling, Angel?" 

"Mmmmmmm, I was dizzy but the rest seemed to help and the food is also really nice and is making me feel better. That was the most Sake I have ever had. I think that Hideo changed the sake to something less potent for me." Amelia drank her water and ate her food in between chatting.

Amelia giggles. "I saw that. I thought that she was going to jump up and go to him, but she did a good job. Inari is a good god even if he is young at least for a god." She leans her head on Gabriel's shoulder and looks around the woods smiling. "It is very lovely here."

"Nowhere near as lovely as you are. I did make sure that you were exempt from school this week. I will be going over some of what you missed this semester while we are on vacation but for the most part we will be inside relaxing." Gabriel finished the meal and leaned his head on hers smiling. 

"If I could paint then this would be the loveliest picture ever." Kosuke smiled at the couple. "Gochisousama, I will lead the horses to the stream and let them drink the water." He gets up and unhitches one of the horses and takes it to the stream.

Amelia eats a little more than places the chopsticks down. "Gochisousama. That was lovely."

Gabriel ate what was left before cleaning up. "Gochisousama. It was delicious." After everything was packed back in the picnic basket. Once it was one he laid down and pulled her down on top of him. Cupping her cheeks he looked up at her lovingly. "I love you, Amelia Saito.

"I love you too, Gabriel Saito." Looking down into Gabriel's eyes Amelia could feel his intense love for her and the blush creeping onto her face. She laid down and rested her head on his shoulder and kissed his cheek. "I-I am looking forward to spending this week alone with you." 

"As am I, Angel. I now have the bride I always wanted. You are all that I need." Gabriel runs his hand down her back. "I do like the hairstyle that Miyuki did for you but I think that it would be nice to let your hair down once we are in the carriage." 

Giggling Amelia sits up, "you just want to run your hands through my hair." She playfully pushed his shoulder. Not expecting that he would counter by pulled her down on top of him.

Once he had her back on his lap and giggling he pulled her face up to his. I love the feel of your hair in my hands. Is there an issue with that?"
