I can feel the pieces of my body are forming into one as I teleported back to the main world of Ekolia. Returning back to the small house.

There is no pain in the aftereffect of the teleportation, but the discomfort is quite unbearable.

"Well, at least this time, I didn't puke."

Enough of that. There is a reason why I don't want to use the item that Avarice gave me on the spot, it's just doesn't feel right. Plus, thought I might as well do it in a safe place where I can guarantee there is no danger or eyes on me.

With the appearance of a large and lengthy gem but enough to be held by my hand, I've never seen anything like it before, but I did hear that something… an item that can boost a player's level does exist.

Maybe there is one in the VIP Store, but… I'll let this character stay clean from that. Be checking it out with my other one later though.

Cold, she's sitting in the darkness. No drop of water dripped, no wind flew, and yet it's so cold in this lifeless Limbo.

Siola opened her eyes in a narrowed down shape, "I died?"

Glancing on the right, she saw nothing, on the left, she saw no one. An odd sensation coming from her behind, it's familiar – the same one at the time she hallucinates when she was being fed a potion by her companion.

Her senses are picking up a very dangerous thing.

"Ahhh…" her eyes widened as the disturbing voice echoes from behind her ears, "Marvelous. Who would have thought…"

Trembling.

The creature flew and enter her field of vision. An indescribable husk of shadow. With a body like a larva, slowly breathing as black water dripping from all over its curves. Two arms that are as thin as a stick with a large scythe on each one as its hands.

"… That he would find such a supreme vessel for one such as me."

It talks in an extremely ear-shattering voice followed by the echoes that never fade, it's difficult to follow what she's saying as the previous words she spoke are still ringing under her ears.

The face is nothing more than an ever-changing form of shadow. Sometimes it has the head of a creature with an extremely long tongue, and then a second later, it has the head of a normal human, and then a second later, it has the face of an indescribable monster.

Siola kept trembling, but no matter how much has fear filled her head, she still hasn't leaked out any liquid from her bottom. It feels as if she is having yet another sleep paralysis.

"Hu-hu-hu-hu, the fruit is yet ripe for the harvest…" slowly and gently, the creature has both of her scythes almost touching Siola's delicate face, "Be sure to grow… and become a splendid vessel for my inevitable return, child."

Her eyes split.

I never thought that I would obtain such an op ability in such a short amount of time, but it made me question myself if I were to manage to have something like this, then surely king Ludwig has much more refined immortality.

If that is the case, then how exactly did I manage to defeat him back then? Was it because he was unable to revive? Having no chance to recover?

Was he even serious when fighting us?

Chronomancy was still new for me since I was the only player who had it. I'm aware of the extend of its power, but to think that it's powerful enough to even halted a Demigod from reviving…
