In all these months, Kence gained greater fighting skills. Even his spell casting speed was only below Calter. One can say that in the entire Soaring Magic City and even the surrounding weaker cities, these two are the most talented mages

Kence just finished defending from the stone bullets but he waved his wand again and ice formed in front of him that blocked a fire spell

As this shield was made in a hasty manner, it wasn't able to fully block the fire spell. But Kence knew this and he already moved away from the shield that he made

Kence's eyes flashed with an icy blue light. He might be outnumbered but his spell casting speed is simply too fast than the others

Kence pointed his wand at himself and activated a speed-boosting spell. The two attacked him again but he dodges one with the help of the speed-boosting spell and he blocks the other using another spell

"[Ice Magic: Ice Guardian!]" As it was already weeks ago that Kence reached the Warrior Rank, he already made a spell of his own since his comprehension level is always above his rank. As Calter is his 'idol' he wants to have a spell similar to the spells his master has

However, summoning spells are not something that Kence is very talented at. That's why he just made a spell that will make a humanoid shape ice

The Ice Guardian has sharp ice blades as its hands and it charged at the two mages. One of the mages attacks the Ice Guardian while the other attacks Kence

But Kence is ready for this! He planned on using his own made spell and because of that, he activated a speed-boosting spell earlier

Kence barely dodged the earth spell while the fire mage attacked the Ice Guardian

However, since the Ice Guardian isn't really a living being, the fire spell only managed to destroy parts of it but not fully destroy it

A hole appeared on the chest of the ice guardian but it still continued charging at its enemy. The mage was not able to dodge and the Magic Knight around was forced to protect him, but in doing so, that mage is out of the battle now

The remaining earth mage shot a big ball of rock towards Kence but the youth made an ice shield before running away. Kence's whole body was already sweating a lot but he was very determined to win!

From the information that Emily 'exploited' through threatening Calter's slaves, she learned and informed Kence that Calter can defeat ten mages at his level

This naturally made Kence feel inferior and if he can't even defeat three mages at his level, then he'll feel even more inferior

Thus, Kence forced himself and activated another spell at a fast speed to finally win

After winning, Kence panted hard and wiped the sweat on his milky white skin

"Mother, how was my performance?" Kence asked nervously and Emily's face twitched a bit. She thought that it will take a lot of time for the inexperienced Kence to be good at fighting but turns out she was extremely wrong

"You missed him?" Emily suddenly asked which caught Kence off guard. "H-huh? M-miss who?" Kence instantly turned defensive and averted his gaze

"Kence, I am your mother, you don't need to hide things from me" Emily said with a gentle smile but she was planning an evil plan inside her mind

Emily and Calter are really a pair of mother and son. Both are good at having evil plans!

Sure enough, Kence felt a bit guilty and can only be honest. It was too easy to manipulate this naive youth! "M-mother, I miss Big Brother .... a lot .... b-but I know he's busy on his training. I-It's just that .... before, it would at most be 2 days that I won't see him ... but this time ... "

Kence turned red from embarrassment as he disobeys Emily by letting Calter mark him. "You said that Calter loves marking you right? If he really loves it then even if he's very busy, he should spend some time to mark you again"

"I mean, after he did ... all those things towards you, he'll just ignore you like this?" In the end, Emily even sigh as if she is taking pity on Kence's current situation

Kence's face had a complicated expression on it. Emily became his diary and he tells her everything that happened like how he and Calter did 'dirty stuffs'

Emily now knows that Kence and Calter never did it before and only some touching here and there. But Emily is still being petty at her previous defeat and she wants to get back at Calter!

"Calter should take responsibility for taking advantage of your body. He's this perverted yet won't even take responsibility for his actions" Emily sighed again as if she is helpless at her own son

"B-But ... m-mother ... B-Big Brother i-is kind to me" Kence still defended Calter but a sense of dissatisfaction started growing inside his heart thanks to Emily's words

"If he is kind why would he ignore you like this? That kid should be punished for his actions!" The woman even showed an angry look as if she is angry at how Calter treated Kence

"Kence, you are still too innocent but you shouldn't let Calter do everything he wants towards you! You need to show a bit of anger and punish him!"

"T-Then what should I do, mother?" Although everything sounds illogical and at normal times, Kence will never show anger towards Calter. But maybe, because of how he misses Calter, Emily was successful in twisting his mind a bit

Besides, this would be a good excuse to see the man he greatly misses. A desperate man will do desperate things!

Kence's conscience is telling him that there is something wrong and why did the topic even change to Calter apparently needing to be punished? Everything is abnormal and doesn't make sense!

But Kence really misses Calter a lot! He shut down all of his reasoning and he was willing to listen to all of Emily's words just to see Calter

"Alright, mother will help you. But make sure to listen okay?" Kence nodded his head furiously not wanting to miss even a single word

Emily then started explaining her evil plan with Kence seriously listening to her. However, in the end, Kence's face turned extremely red

"M-Mother I c-can't do that! T-the first part ... I-I can do it b-but the l-last part ...." Kence almost broke down into tears as what Emily said is really too embarrassing for him. Doing something like that never entered Kence's mind at all!

The slaves around who also heard Emily's words can only pray for their master. Emily's plan was just too devious and Calter will surely enter a crazed state!

"Well, mother just wants to help you. But if you don't do this, then Calter might always do this kind of thing in the future. I'm sure you don't want that to happen. I just don't want to see you being ignored by him" Emily said and sip on her tea again

Actually, to have Kence do what Emily wants is easy. Although the conversation before reaching the 'punish Calter' part doesn't make sense but to someone who desperately wants to see a person, they would almost not pay attention to it. As long as Kence will have an excuse to see Calter, that is already enough!

"B-But mother .... the l-last part is t-too ..." Kence can't even mention it as it was simply beyond his ability!

"It is up to you, if you don't do that then it's fine but I don't guarantee that your Big Brother won't do something like this again"

Kence almost broke into tears before he gritted his teeth. A desperate man is really a desperate man!

"A-Alright, I-I'll do it!" Kence said and bowed his head at Emily who just nodded at him. But the woman was smirking inside her as another evil plan of hers succeeded

"P-Please prepare a carriage for me" Kence said to the slaves around who doesn't have a choice but to obey while wishing for the best

Along the way, Kence was fidgeting as he can't believe that he'll ready do what Emily said. But for him to see Calter ..... Kence clenched his fist and readied himself

As soon as Kence reached Demon's Den, he immediately exited the carriage but his knees wobbled on the way. His legs turned into soft jelly and he even needs to put his hands on the carriage for support

"Young Master, are you all right?" The slave asked worriedly and Kence nodded his head before taking a deep breath

If this means that he'll be able to see Calter then he will do it!

Kence plastered an angry look on his face and entered Calter's Magic Tower. All the other slaves along the way make way for him at seeing the look on his face

They never saw Kence angry before and this was something new to them. "Where is Big Brother?" Kence coldly asked at one of the slaves

Kence felt guilty at using this kind of tone and can only apologize to the man on his head. After getting his answer from the fearful slave, Kence continued on his way and reach the training room where Calter is

Calter just finished defeating his slaves, visible as he is still wiping the sweat on his body

Kence took another deep breath and directly entered the training room causing all eyes to look at him. This made him really embarrassed but for Emily's plan ... he can only swallow his shyness

"Kence?" Calter looked at Kence with a puzzled look. Why is Kence here and what's with that look on his face?

Calter walked towards the youth but Kence did something he never thought Kence will do towards him

Kence made an angry "Hmph!" sound and averted his gaze, his face has a fit of different anger than the ones he has when Calter is teasing him too much. This caught Calter off guard and his mind started thinking of any reason why Kence will do this to him
