The rich amounts of mana in the surroundings experienced a drastic drop. A mage can literally feel how all the mana around was sucked dry by the vortex made by Kence's moon necklace

The aura of such a vast amount of mana is not something that the youth's fragile body can take and it caused him to lose consciousness

The weird thing is that although Kence already loses his consciousness, his body was still standing as the liquid around him continued to lessen. It was like some sort of power was freezing him in place

After the necklace finished absorbing all the surrounding mana, it started injecting an extremely high leveled stream of power straight to Kence's heart

The small area where Kence' heart turned into ice in the past grew exponentially until it covered half of his heart

Instead of harming Kence, those icy part did the opposite. It filled the youth's heart with more vitality that spread all over his body. There's nothing much that changed on the youth's outside appearance but those icy part of his heart was slowly changing his very being

Kence's body then slowly moved on its own and he slowly laid down on the now-empty pool

After a few hours, Kence finally regained his consciousness

The youth slowly opened his eyes just to see the cave's ceiling but unlike before, it doesn't have any of the crystals that were glowing with a dim blue light

Kence sat on the ground and took a stone from his spatial ring. The stone then glowed and alleviated some of the darkness in the place

Kence was confused at what happened and turned to look around him. He saw that he was in a deep crater. This was the location of the pool before, but it doesn't have any drop of liquid now

Kence turned to look at the necklace hanging on his neck and hold it on his palm. However, no matter how much he looks at it, nothing changed

Kence tried sensing his body and aside from feeling a bit stronger, he doesn't find any suspicious thing. He then entered his sea of consciousness. This time, he finally noticed something suspicious

It feels like his sea of consciousness was suddenly connected to a certain space. When Kence tried entering that space, his mind was drawn into another world

This world has endless snow and ice. No matter where he looks, that was the only thing he can see

However, the space gave Kence a feeling that it was only half done. The space is already vast yet Kence had the feeling that this is only half of it

If that is really the case then he can't imagine how big this space really is

"What's that?" Kence asked while looking at the central part of that space. He saw a small glowing point and it was giving off the strongest aura in this whole world

Kence turned his focus on it and a stream of information suddenly entered straight into his mind

The stream of cultivation actually contains a Cultivation Art!

There are various cultivation arts in the Escardon Realm but based on the information from that single point, it says that a powerful mage even above the Escardon Realm's strongest expert owned this art which was no doubt far more powerful than every other art in the whole realm!

It also stated that the Moon Necklace is 'owned' by that mage and Kence was fortunate to gain its 'inheritance'

As for whether that is true or not, no one knows

This discovery naturally shocked Kence to the bones. If this is true then he's really fortunate! This is a fortuitous encounter of a lifetime!

"T-this is unbelievable!" Kence muttered to himself in disbelief. There is a strange sense of wanting to be strong on his heart and this cultivation art will no doubt help him!

Normal cultivation manuals only have magical theories. Cultivation arts on the other hand have magic theories and also a distinct way to utilize it!

An example is the Cultivation Art of the Royal Family. The ice and snow magic users of them have a huge advantage compared to normal mages

Their ice and snow power are harder and colder. If you came into contact with even just a tiny bit of their attacks, it would make you feel colder than directly touching an ice or snow

Physical discomfort will affect the mage's mind and caused them to have a harder time using their spells!

Kence was excited and was eager to give it a try. He memorized as many details as he can, completely forgetting what kind of situation he was in. He's literally inside a cave in a mountain that has tons of powerful Magic Beasts!

After some time, Kence memorized the most basics of basic and decided to try it. As soon as he tried it, he immediately frowned and opened his eyes

"H-how can the mana here be so low?" Kence asked in disbelief

He clearly remembered how rich in mana this place was. It was supposed to be a place perfect for cultivation!

Kence sighed and decided to go outside but only now did he remembered something. The youth raised his head and saw that the only way to exit this place is the opening that he jumped from before

However, the problem was that it was too high! Kence can't possibly climb it

Kence realized how bad his situation is. His spatial ring has some foods inside but it won't last for eternity. Even if he has food, his safety is still not secured if he encountered a Magic Beast more powerful than him

It wouldn't be that bad if he met a peak Rank 1 beasts, but things would be different if he encountered Rank 2 and 3 beasts!

Kence still has some defensive runes but it couldn't possibly last long. Even if it can shield Kence for a few attacks but how can he kill the enemy?

Rank 2 and 3 creatures can easily block or dodge his spells

Kence's face fell. He felt that he saw a treasure only to be left on an unknown island. Tears started gathering around his eyes as he was afraid of what outcome he would have if no one found him here in time

Kence hugged his knees and sobbed as fear overcome his whole being. Never in his life did he entered such a situation and this made him terrified

The feeling of not being able to do anything in a hopeless situation is horrible

Fortunately, after just a few minutes, Kence heard a human voice

"Young Master! Young Master Russel!"

"Young Master, are you here?!"

From the looks of it, there are two people not far from him and Kence immediately wiped his tears and shouted back at them

"I'm here! Help!" Kence continue shouting as if his life depended on it

To his relief, he saw two familiar faces above. Those two are his guards! Fortunately, they are safe and even discovered Kence

Even the guard from before that protected Kence was weirded out by the happenings today

First, a Rank 3 Snow Golem suddenly appeared near the foot of the mountain. When he almost succeeded in defeating the golem another one suddenly appeared

And when the guard asked Kence to flee, a pack of Ice Wolves appeared behind the youth. But instead of chasing the youth, the wolves actually attacked the guard for a bit

However, after the guard thought that he would die, the Magic Beasts acts frightened and they all run away from him. He naturally needs to find Kence but seeing that powerful Magic Beasts just attacked him, the guard asked for the other guard to help

If not, he might die before he even finds the Young Master. Another weird thing is that it feels like there is something urging them to enter the cave only to see the person they are looking for

The guards threw the matter at the back of their mind first and descended down to where Kence is

One of the guards made snow on his feet while the other one made ice that glued them on the cave's wall and they slowly fell down

Kence walked closer to the guards and was genuinely thankful for them

"T-thank you!" Kence sincerely thanked with a dazzling smile that blinded the eyes of the two causing them to get 'blind' for a moment

"I-It's our job" the guard answered and helped Kence to climb the cave's wall

The guard covered Kence's foot with snow and controlled the snow to slowly ascend. As they are Grand Knights, something like that is easy

The urging that Kence felt for the past days finally vanish after this and the three head back to the Royal Palace of the Cold Blue Kingdom

After what happened, Kence is not in the mood for another round of training today

Few days passed and Kence was in the Royal Palace. The youth was looking straight to the sky and watched as snows slowly fell from the sky

The Cold Blue Kingdom is the coldest Kingdom and they have days where it rained snow. The snow rain was very random and will happen whenever it wants

If not for the Kingdom being called the Kingdom of Beauty, this type of climate is harmful

With snow, it would be hard to grow crops and that will cause a food shortage

However, since the Kingdom is full of beauties, a lot of them married people on the other Kingdoms. Even the Nobles and Royals of the other two Kingdoms has at least one that married a beauty from the Cold Blue Kingdom

Because of that, the Kingdom has a good relationship with Menace and Thunder Gold Kingdom. The other two Kingdoms alleviated the food problems by selling it to the Cold Blue KIngdom for a lower price

It can be said that part of the reason why the Cold Blue Kingdom is still standing until now is because of those marriages

Menace and Thunder Gold Kingdom are enemies while the Cold Blue Kingdom is neutral. It is the only Kingdom that doesn't have any conflicts with the others

Kence holds out his hand and pieces of snow landed on the top of his palm. He controlled them and the snow danced on the top of his palm

In some ways, ice and snow are similar, it's just that the former has a hard form while the latter has a soft one

It doesn't mean that mages cannot use both of them as they all use the same cold energy, but people have different talents

Others can be skillful at controlling ice while the others find it easier to use snow

Frozen Heart Art enables Kence to use the two effectively. But since Kence grew up using ice-type magic, he needs to spend time learning how to control the snow

Kence raised his hand that was as soft and white as the snow and controlled more of the white snow falling from the sky. The snows around Kence suddenly moved and circled around him

Kence's appearance was already enchanting and him controlling snow like that just made him even more enchanting!

The youth was focused on feeling and improving his control on the snow that he ignored his surroundings

The snows moved energetically with every wave of his hand and Kence find himself enjoying it. Whether it be ice or snow, he likes controlling both as they are both cold. It just felt too comforting for him

Kence moved his hands around again and the snow around him moved to clash against the other snow and they knocked away each other

Kence only woke up from that state when he heard the sounds of hands clapping

When the youth looked at the source, he saw a man a bit older than him. This young man was also much taller than him. He has a fair explosion like Kence but despite that, instead of looking cute and adorable, the young man's appearance was that of a handsome man

The young man's hair was also beautiful and has the color white. This man is not unfamiliar to Kence as he is Cold Blue Kingdom's Crowned Prince - Cox Crosmoner!
