"What do you need to talk with Kence?" Cox asked in an unfriendly manner but Xian just acts as if he didn't notice it and gave a swift reply. "My apologies, it is a private matter and I cannot disclose it to anyone"

"Hmph!" Cox harrumphed coldly and waved his hand causing the snow binding Kence to fall to the ground

The youth heave a sigh of relief and shot Xian a look of gratitude

As his plan was interrupted, Cox simply walked away. Xian might be younger than him but he has some fear towards his younger brother

As soon as Cox vanished from Kence's sight he immediately walked towards Xian and bowed his head. "T-thank you!" Kence said sincerely

"You should cover your body first" Although Xian is not a pervert like his Big Brother, but Kence is just too cute. Xian is also a man that can feel some lust, the bits of skin that are bare for everyone to see look so ravishing. It would be better if Kence do something about that first

Even Kence felt that his current appearance is inappropriate. He removed his robe first only leaving his undershirt

Xian's face turned a bit red. Earlier, Kence arms were covered by the sleeves of his robe. However, the youth is now only wearing a shirt making his arm visible

Kence's arms aren't that long but it looks as white and soft as the snow falling around. It even gave Xian an illusion that if he pinches Kence's skin, water will literally come out from it

Xian averted his gaze as he doesn't want to take advantage of the situation by molesting Kence with his eyes

Kence was totally oblivious to the effect his simple action has. He doesn't like showing too much skin as he's uncomfortable by the way men look at him. But for Kence, he's still wearing a shirt, how can it gain too much attention?

A similar robe appeared on Kence's hand and he wore it on himself. Only then did Xian looked on him again

"If Cox bothered you again just say that you need to see me." Cox said after some time making Kence feel that he really is nice

"Thank you, Prince Xian!" Kence thanked with a smile so blinding that it made Xian's heart to beat crazily as if it wants to exit from his chest

Xian issued a cough first before answering. "I-It's nothing"

If being cute is a sin, Kence should be given a punishment of life imprisonment

"What are you even doing here?" Xian asked and Kence raised his hand to control some of the falling snows

"I'm practicing my snow control" Kence truthfully answered with the snow on top of his palm dancing energetically

"Aren't you an Ice Mage? Do you want to control both?" Kence nodded his head at that and his heart started beating faster

The cultivation art that he got cannot be disclosed to anyone and he feared that it would be weird if he suddenly got an interest in snow magic

"That's fine but you need to check if you're suitable for training them at the same time. Many mages in the Kingdom lose a lot of time because of wanting to control both ice and snow" Xian said in 'concern' while looking at the focused expression on Kence as the youth continued controlling snows

When Kence turned his blue eyes to look at Xian, it made the Prince flinch a bit in shock because of embarrassment. Xian thought that he was caught staring at Kence's face. "Thanks for the reminder! I'm just trying to see if I can train in both"

"If you want to learn snow magic why don't you get a Grand Knight to teach you?" Xian asked and the fear that Kence has rose

Kence doesn't want to have a teacher as they might discover his secret. It was true that having a teacher would speed up his cultivation but there is also the risk of his secrets being known

Because of that, Kence turned his head on the side to 'lie' which is something he is not good at. "I-I'm just t-trying it .... n-no need for a t-teacher"

Kence lied but since he has an innocent and pure aura, Xian just thought that the youth doesn't want to bother anyone. Xian's admiration towards Kence grew at thinking that the latter is really too kind

"I can arrange for someone to teach you and trust me, they will love to do the honor" Xian offered but Kence immediately furiously shook his head. "N-No! That isn't n-necessary!" Kence strongly refused

The youth wants to smack himself on the head as he acted inappropriately again in front of a Prince. "I-I'm sorry!" Kence quickly apologized when he realized his mistake

Another misunderstanding was made and Xian can't help but think that Kence is too kind. He thought that Kence just doesn't want to bother him which was kind of ... cute

"It's fine, but if you need a teacher, you can find me for help" Xian said much to Kence's relief. His relief was visible on his face causing Xian to chuckle lightly at how kind and cute he is

A kind and cute person like Kence is exactly Xian's type as he doesn't like those arrogant people that thinks they are superior to everyone. The Prince even started thinking if he should try to get to know Kence better and maybe pursue him in the future. But for now, there are still things that he needs to do

Xian excused himself and Kence was left by himself again

Kence sigh as two 'giant figures' that he needs to be mindful of his action finally leave him alone

Kence turned his head left and right first before continuing. Pieces of snows landed on the youth's hand before a surprising thing happened

The snow sunk and entered Kence's palm. The youth can feel that a weak stream of cold energy traveled from his palm and settled somewhere in his chest

"It really goes to my heart!" Kence exclaimed in surprise before quickly covering his mouth. Kence looked around him again and was relieved that no one was there aside from him

With this, Kence 'sneakily' absorbed the snows around and the cold energy he got from them goes straight to his heart. Kence absorbs a lot of snow but he can feel that its effect was insubstantial and doesn't improve him much

But Calter already had Krad check his body for any signs of spell that was used to him and the man didn't find anything. If someone really used a spell on him then it should be a mage powerful even among the Grand Knights or worse a Rank 4 mage

However, that is impossible. He didn't do anything to make those mages notice him

"Is this related to that person?" Calter asked pertaining to the pair of blue eyes that he saw before. It was only those eyes that he can see but he is not even sure if he met the owner of that eyes before or if they even existed

If he really met that person before but why does it only bother him now?

These things irritated Calter a lot especially since he can't afford to be distracted as the exam for the Escardon Academy is near. Although he is confident that he can pass, but Calter wants to pass with flying colors!

Being recognized as a talent means better resources and opportunities. He can't be distracted by a person that he doesn't even know if actually existed

"This is annoying!" Calter said and take medicines from his spatial ring to increase the speed of recovery. With this injury, he can't continue practicing the body strengthening part of his cultivation art

Along the way, Calter met a servant that bowed at him first before talking. "Young Master Calter, Young Master Kes issued a challenge with you"

The servant's words just worsen Calter's mood even more

Menace Kingdom valued magical might and even the Royal Family competed with each other. The current Royal Family has a lot of branches, Calter is already fortunate that his father is the previous King's son.

Although Calter is also a part of the branch family, his family is the closest to the main branch as his father is the current King's brother. This made his starting point quite high

However, he was also unfortunate. The Royal Family has a tradition of competing for resources like money and everyone fought with each other

The winner will receive an increased allocation of resources while the loser will have lesser resources. Since Calter has the highest position amongst the young masters of branch families, that just made more people challenge him while salivating for his resources

Thankfully, the fight is still fair. A Magic Warrior can only be challenged once every two weeks and the challenger must be at the same rank as the challenged

Since Calter is a low-level Warrior and the mage that can challenge him can only be at that level, he will make sure to make the challenger pay a heavy price!

Calter wasn't in the mood for any fight yet someone challenged him today. Someone will have a bad ending!
