Cold Blue Kingdom's buildings are mostly blue in color that just have different shades. It was beautiful for a tourist but for people who live there, it can get kind of dull with nothing new to it

Kence is currently traveling to reach Escardon City making the architecture design different the farther the carriage traveled. It was a city that does not belong to any of one of the three Great Kingdoms

This City was owned by the most renowned and strongest mage in the whole realm that has quite a peculiar personality. A mage that even the Kings need to treat with the utmost respect. This mage's power was at the top of the pyramid and can kill the Kings if it wants

Kence was too focused on admiring the things he saw along the way and didn't notice that sweat already formed on his forehead

"Young Master, should I lower the temperature inside the carriage?" Kence's guard asked him when the man saw the sweat on his master

The guard's voice woke Kence from his earlier state and he looks at his guard. Kence has a lot of guards but this guard is the one that he is the closest with

The guard's name is Noom and the man had a tragic past. Noom is a fire type mage in the Cold Blue Kingdom.

Ice and snow mages are highly regarded in the Kingdom while the same cannot be said to fire type mages, although they are not bullied that much but they have the lowest importance

Noom's father is also a fire type mage but the former was abused by the latter. Noom's father wants to have an ice or snow mage son but got a fire type one like him and that enraged the man

Noom was abused by his father by literally burning him, leaving scars all over his body. The Cold Blue Kingdom is known as the Land of Beauty and physical appearance was regarded highly there

A person with ugly scars is often discriminated against. This made Kence take pity on Noom and assigned him to be his guard

With Noom being Kence's favorite guard, the man has better treatment than other guards, and Kence gave him regular day offs

Kence touched his forehead and felt the sweat on it. As he is used to cold places, the sudden rise of temperature around caused him to sweat a lot

Noom and the others from their Kingdom are also the same. Their bodies are used to a cold climate and it will take some time to adapt to places that have a higher temperature

As an answer, Kence shook his head and said "No need, we need to get used to this kind of temperature anyway"

Noom can only nod his head and let Kence be. "Young Master, we are approaching Hotspring City, do you want to spend the night there?"

Kence and his party already traveled for days as Escardon City is outside the Kingdom and the distance was great

Hotspring City is also outside the three Great Kingdoms and is a city near Escardon City. It was famous for its hot springs and a lot of inns offered hot spring services

Kence naturally also heard about the famous City and was quite curious about it. Especially since the hot springs there, have the reputation of cleaning the body which was beneficial for mages

"Let's stay at Hotspring City, I want to soak in the hot spring!" Kence said excitedly. This youth is someone that is introverted and he always stays at the Royal Palace. Although Kence doesn't mind much always being in the same place, he is still excited at seeing and experiencing new things

"T-this ...." a constipated expression suddenly formed on Noom's face when he heard Kence's words. The youth thought that his favorite guard is worried for him as hot springs have high temperatures and he might get uncomfortable on it

"Noom, don't worry about me! If I can't take the temperature I'll just rest in my room" Kence said to reassure his 'sweet' and 'concerned' guard but that is not the cause of the unnatural expression on Noom

The guard took a deep breath first before deciding to tell the truth. Based on his memories, he and Kence have a great relationship and he wants to help his master

"Y-Young Master ... I-It's not the temperature I'm worried about ..." Noom started causing Kence to be confused

Kence tilted his head to the side with a questioning look on his face. Noom cough before continuing his words. "Y-Young Master ... d-do you know how cute you are?" Noom asked out of nowhere causing Kence to be taken aback

The youth instantly turned as red as a tomato from suddenly receiving a compliment. Kence lowered his head a bit and he can feel his face heating up

Kence is not used to compliments and receiving one made him embarrassed. "W-what a-are you s-saying? I-I'm not c-cute" Kence said shyly but his appearance and manner in which he denied his cuteness just makes him look even cuter

Even Noom gulped a bit at how cute Kence is. "Young M-Master you might not have realized it but you are extremely cute! I'm afraid that guys will look at you ...." Noom searched for a suitable term as Kence is just too innocent and he can't say things bluntly

After some time, Noom finally found a word and continue what he was saying "... i-in a bad manner!"

"What do you mean in a bad manner?" Kence asked in confusion and once again tilted his head on the side adorably

"W-well ... since Young Master is cute ... a-and there are a lot of 'b-bad guys' they might look at you in a ... p-perverted manner" Noom felt like he was talking to a five-year-old kid and he needs to pause a few times to think of a sugar-coated version of his words

Noom's words caused Kence to cough a bit. The youth was more embarrassed with Noom saying such words as anything that is considered 'perverted' is an awkward topic to him

"I-I'm not c-cute ... b-bad guys w-wont do that to me. I want to experience a hot spring" Kence answered. Although he sometimes felt that the way people look at him is inappropriate, he still does not think that he is cute

"But Young Master" Noom still wants to protest but he's only a guard, he can't force Kence to do what he wants even though he is a hundred percent sure that the youth will be targeted by perverts

"T-then we'll just take a private one" Kence suggested. He doesn't believe that he'll be targeted by perverts but he also doesn't want to make Noom worry and can only suggest this

Money problems are not a problem with Kence at all. He has a lot of money on him and renting a private hot spring won't make a dent in his pocket

Kence took a card from his spatial ring. It was a bank card that literally contained tons of wealth. Kence might not be as wealthy as princes and princesses but he's still richer than most Nobles

"Here, use this" Kence said and handed his bank card to Noom. The guard didn't know whether to laugh or cry at that. Kence is too naive, to think that he'll casually hand his card as if it was nothing

"Yes, Young Master" Noom can only agree and stored the card in his own spatial ring

It was close to the evening when Kence and his party reached Hot Spring City. And party means ten guards excluding Noom and the coachmen

In front of the carriage that Kence was riding was another carriage that contained five of his guards and another batch to his back. Those guards are all Grand Knights!

Those Grand Knights are stronger than normal but are still far from the real cream of the top on that rank. The truly strong Grand Knights can defeat tens of Rank 3 Mages without sweating much. Only those kind of Grand Knights have a higher status as there are simply too many mages at that rank in the whole realm

Kence exited his carriage and looked around him. He and his guards stopped on what you can call 'high leveled area' where only the rich can afford the prices of commodities

There are not that many people compared to the other areas of the cities but there is still a lot. Crowded places are not Kence's favorite place and it made him uncomfortable especially since a lot of eyes were locked on him

"Young Master, shall we enter?" Noom asked and Kence nodded his head

This place is high class and Kence had a mixed feeling about it. With Kence's status, places that are for Nobles and Royalties are common and accessible for him. This place shouldn't faze him much but he felt like he's not used at a place like this one

Kence ignored the feelings that surfaced in his heart and just admired the designs of the place

The youth let his guards arrange things for him and he was soon guided to his room. As the youth doesn't like crowded places, he also had his guards order food to be delivered inside his room

As soon as Kence exited the reception area, a group of people entered the inn. Kence's party has normal to easy-going looks on their faces face but this party has a cold and oppressive one

The one that is the most noticeable at this party was the incredibly handsome youth in the middle

The youth have extremely dark hair and eyes. Those eyes look as if they can swallow you whole or force you to enter an illusion

The youth was this handsome yet an ugly look was hanging on his face. It can make people fear him especially since his party's line up looks strong

Anyone who saw this youth will think that he has a powerful background which was true. The youth is the son of the brother of Menace Kingdom's King. He is Calter Sternix!

In the past month, Calter's mood becomes uglier and uglier. The sense of emptiness in his heart made him always irritated. No matter what he does, he couldn't remember what his heart wants him to remember. Calter is not even sure if there is someone that he should remember

Calter's mood also affected his servants whose life became hell especially Krad that has the highest position among all his guards and servants

It was Krad that is always on Calter's side and his life the past month was really hellish. Every simple thing can instantly irritate Calter to death and Krad felt likes he is walking on a thin rope where one wrong step will spell his death

This made Krad's stress to pile up as high as a mountain, visible from the dark circles under his eyes

"Go get me my room" Calter coldly said to Krad, the latter nodded his head and obeyed

As the atmosphere around Calter's group was oppressive and add that to Krad having a dark face, the receptionist entered a panic state causing his hands to tremble and make mistakes

Random things fell on the ground that irritated Calter and he shot a deadly look towards the receptionist. The unfortunate staff almost broke into tears and immediately did his best to give a room to such scary people

However, since the staff was in such a panic state, he literally made several mistakes again causing Calter's mood to turn grimmer

Calter having an even uglier mood is the thing that his guards least wants the most and they all glared at the receptionist whom almost peed his pants

The receptionist gave Krad a card as soon as he can so that these scary people will leave him alone.

After getting what they need, Krad went back to Calter and their party head to the room they rented for the night.
