"Oh wow! This is a surprise, there are actually four people that accomplished the bonus task" The Head Master said before her figure flashed and invaded the personal space of the four while staring intently at all their faces

"And they are all handsome and cute! What is a feast? This is a feast!" The next thing everyone knew was that the little is already floating above them with a dreamy expression on her face

"But the cutest of them all is naturally you!" The Head Master vanishes from everyone's sight for the nth time and reappeared next to Kence. Her speed was something that no one can contend to

Kence felt fingers in his cheeks that were squeezing it a bit. This caused an awkward expression to form on his face. He even wondered if the Head Master is actually a kid younger than him

It took everything from Calter to prevent himself from acting impulsively again in front of a mage that can literally kill him with a snap of her finger

After some more pinching, the little girl moved away from Kence, and a mischievous smile formed on her face. "It's rare for four people to accomplish the bonus tasks. Let's have a game! The winners will be given more rewards than I originally intended to. I can help the winners become a Magic Knight in just a month without negatively affecting their foundations!"

Everyone's heart trembled at the Head Master's words. She can help them become a Magic Knight in a span of a few months without making their foundations shaky? What kind of concept was that?

All of these students have almost a hundred percent chance of becoming a Magic Knight if given enough time. Magic Knights aren't special at all

However! If they can achieve that rank in just a span of two months, it would surely make them far above the normal students. Things would be different for the winners

Calter ignored the urge to kill Halli and Kier and focused his attention on the Head Master. Seeing a mage as powerful as this little girl made him want to become strong as soon as possible, he was very interested in the price

"The game is simple. You four will have a two on two battle with a twist!" Calter almost rolled his eyes at the mention of 'twist'. This little girl always thought of a weird twist in every single thing

"The twist is that the partners need to hold each other's hands while fighting! Letting go means you already lose the battle!"

Calter's eyes glowed at that and his impression towards the Head Master rose. He retracted his earlier words, he absolutely likes this twist!

Kier and Halli unconsciously looked at each other and their heart starts beating fast. In the past month, even though they lived in the same mansion back at the Thunder Gold Kingdom, they rarely interact with each other

The two were busy with digesting the gift from the 'powerful mage' and even when they interacted with each other, they would just mostly fight

However, the two admitted to themselves that the other man is always making them feel complex emotions in every interaction they had. Too bad that they are too prideful to take any action about this 'weird' attraction

The thought of them holding each other's hands was more than enough to make their hearts to beat faster in anticipation

Perhaps, only Kence has a different reaction. He doesn't want to participate as Kence knew his mind will not be able to focus properly. He doesn't want to embarrass himself in front of so many people

However, Kence can't possibly refuse in fear that it will make the Head Master angry

"Alright, students please move away and give them some space!" The Head Master shouted and the students obediently obeyed her. As soon as enough space was given, the little girl tapped the ground with her feet and a large rectangular shape fire was formed in just a matter of second

The weird thing was that no one can feel any heat coming from the fires as if it wasn't there in the first place

"Ready, get set, go!" The Head Master shouted before flying above again leaving no time for the four to settle their minds

Calter immediately intertwined Kence's hand with his. The soft flesh he can feel gave him ecstasy and if possible, he always wants to hold this hand for the rest of his life

"Y-you ... a-ahh ..." Kence didn't know what to say and a crimson blush spread all over his body. He can feel Calter's warmth through their connected hands and it was making him dizzy

"We will win this, trust me" Calter whispered straight to Kence's ears and the latter shuddered at that. Kence can feel something inside him was stirred up because of Calter's intimate action and he can only nod his head shyly

As always, Kier wants to have the power he can call his own. He was the one that initiated holding Halli's hands which made the Crowned Prince a bit flustered

Kier's body screamed in joy after finally having physical contact with Halli after a long time but he ignored all of that. The 'game' is still the most important thing

However, when Halli unconsciously squeezed his hand in a gentle manner, his love strings were struck by the man. A sense of weakness spread to Kier's body and he even forgot that there was a game for a moment

"AAAHHHKK OH MY GOSH!" The piercing shriek of the headmaster entered everyone's ears again. "Waaahh !! You four are so sweet!"

The four woke up from their 'daze' state. All of them were affected by the simple act of holding each other's hands as if it was something their bodies craved for a long time

"Y-you will help me again?" Kence asked with a low voice. He was naturally interested in the reward but he 'doesn't' want to hold Calter's hands as the pervert might 'take advantage' of him, not knowing that Calter already done a lot of unspeakable things to him before

"Yeah, I will" Calter answered and he felt Kence's grip on his hand tightened a bit. "T-thank you" Kence said with a low voice while moving his head to the side

"Okay, start now love birds kyaahh !!"

Calter and Kier that have the best fighting skills of the four immediately made their move and their magic rings glowed with a dim light

"[Dark Magic: Phantom Slash!]" A sword appeared in Calter's hand and dark-colored energies coated it. Calter slashed his sword in the air and a black sword light flew out from it

"[Lightning Magic: Volta!]" A streak of lightning with some patches of red color flew out from Kier's hand

The phantom slash and Volta canceled out each other. Only then did the other two had the chance to react

"[Lightning Magic: Lightning Snake!]" With a wave of Halli's hand, two snakes made from lightning traveled in the air and it charged at Kence's position

Kence was the last one to react and Calter protected him from the lightning snakes by destroying it with his sword

"[Ice Magic: Frost Fog!]" An icy blue fog flew out from Kence's hand but his late reaction made him and Calter to enter a disadvantage

"[Lightning Magic: Lightning Blade!]"

"[Lightning Magic: Lightning Blade!]"

Kier and Halli said at the same time. Two blades of lightning formed on the side of the two and they penetrated the frost fog before continuing in Kence and Calter's direction

Calter's eyes turned darker than before. The impulse to kill the two grew stronger and shadow flames covered his sword

With a single sword slash from Calter, he managed to destroy the lightning blades. He have a lot of mana and Calter poured enough of it to destroy an attack from two mages

This naturally shocked a lot of people except the Head Master and her maid. The two just look at the four fighting each other with a concealed glint in their eyes

Kence knew his earlier mistakes and to make up for it, he controlled two daggers and coated them with his icy energy. "[Ice Magic: Bird Assault!]"

Kence slapped his hand in the air and two icy trails were left by his daggers that have a bird's head made from ice

As Halli and Kier have the same element and almost the same way of fighting, daggers appeared in their hands and it was immediately coated with a layer of lightning

They use the daggers to block Kence's attack before Calter made another move

"[Dark Summon Magic: Skeleton Warrior!]" A summoning circle appeared in Calter's side and from it, a Rank 1 Skeleton appeared

"[Dark Magic: Dark Blessing!]" Calter's superior spell casting speed made another group of people shock

The skeleton's speed exploded as it charged at the two humans that Calter wants to kill

Kier and Halli's eyes flashed with a golden light. They too felt that they can't lose to Kence and Calter as if they were their mortal enemies
