Almost a week has passed and the two still haven't found a way to finish their mission. Kence is simply too pure and he doesn't know that much tactic. As for Calter, he can stalk Gam for a while but as soon as the man entered the important buildings in the town, he would lose the ability to spy

Calter also cannot recklessly enter places like the prison as there is still a high chance that he might be discovered. Calter doesn't know much about formations but who knows how strong the formation that will prevent any outsiders to enter were?

There is a high chance that those formations have the ability to detect all Magic Knights and below. Calter might be powerful but his powers and concealing abilities are still in the level of Magic Knights

Thus, the two were stuck without getting any leads as Calter can't see any suspicious actions from the man in the past days

Kence and Calter were currently staying in one of the inns from the town and the former was watching the latter in boredom

As always, Calter is using his ghost spy to watch Gam's actions and Kence didn't have anything to do making him quite bored

Soon, Calter opened his eyes while sighing. If Gam is really the 'enemy' Calter has the confidence of defeating him. However, making a commotion in the town will attract the townsmen's attention

Even though the strongest experts in the Town are all just Magic Knights, there are still a lot of Magic Warriors in them. Calter cannot possibly defeat hundreds and thousands of them with his current strength 

"How is it?" Kence asked although he can already see the result based on Calter's expressions

"Nothing suspicious, Gam just arrested the troublemakers in the town today too" Calter replied while shaking his head

Kence was disappointed in that outcome too. "He sure is hardworking, he always arrested a lot of people every day" Kence muttered without thinking much of it before Calter's eyes widened in shock

"Yes, he is hardworking and every single troublemaker was arrested by him" Calter said much to Kence's confusion

Calter closed his eyes and tried remembering all the past cases in which Gam arrested the troublemakers. There are a lot of times when people tried bribing Gam but he refused all of them. That was not a suspicious thing as there are a lot of people that really stick to their morals

However .... Gam .... Caizher didn't realize it before but after Kence said those words, he realized that Gam have arrested a lot of people

Even if the witnesses already stated who provoked who and who made the first move, Gam still arrested all of them

If Gam is really kind just like his reputation, won't he be kind to other people and let those that were wronged be free?

Calter opened his eyes to look at Kence and asked him a question. "Don't you think that this town has a lot of fighting cases?"

Kence cutely knitted his eyebrows and starts thinking about Calter's question before giving his answer. "I don't think so, from our investigations, killing, robbing, and other crimes are rare"

Calter shook his head at that. "That is not what I meant. Think of it, those crimes are low in number but the small clashes and fighting happened every day. And most of the time that it would happen, Gam always arrived a few minutes later"

Kence started thinking again and remembered the things they have learned and nodded his head after some time. "Yeah, t-that's suspicious"

Calter stared at the windows of their room and watched the people of the town. In the past days, all of them seemed clueless and they are only happy that their town isn't a barren place anymore

They all seemed clueless at what the reason for that is. If these citizens know the town's secret, at least one of them should act suspiciously, right? But no, none of these ordinary citizens made any suspicious moves

"What's our next moves?" Kence asked as he unconsciously treated the smart and reliable but perverted Calter as the leader and he relied on him on a lot of things

"I'll go to a bar later at night. I'll try to see if I can gain information on the people that were imprisoned and got out" Calter answered

The mention of the 'bar' causes Kence to look at Calter with visible doubt in his eyes. "Are you sure you're just going there to investigate?"

Calter raises his brows at Kence, not understanding what he meant by that. "Of course, we need to finish this mission" Calter truthfully answered but Kence is still looking ay him doubtfully

"What's with that look, do you want me to flick your forehead?" Calter asked while almost rolling his eyes. What kind of things entered this cute but sometimes annoying bunny's mind again?

"I will go with you!" Kence said that just made Calter more puzzled. "Just stay here"

As much as possible, Calter doesn't want to expose Kence to any danger and that is just because of his heart again, okay?

"Who knows who will become your next target? I will come to stop you in doing ... b-bad things to other people too!"

With that, Calter realizes what Kence meant. Kence still think of him as a big pervert (that he cannot refute anymore as it was partly true) and the youth was 'worried for other people' that might be his next victims

Calter can only shake his head at that. The only one that can make him a pervert is Kence. He didn't even think of molesting other people with his eyes in the bar

"I won't do something like that, you don't need to be worried" Calter said but Kence strongly refused by shaking his head

"I will come, end of discussion!" Kence will not let Calter act perverted to other people ... only to him. Kence got angry at the thoughts he was having and his face reddened a bit because of that

Fortunately, Calter only thought that he was worried about other people. Kence is always kind to others except for Calter!

"Fine, but don't go far from me. If not, I won't let you go with me again" Calter sternly said to which Kence nodded his head

Nighttime arrived and the two are now ready for their 'night mission'

To have a higher chance of getting information, Calter even chose a bar that has a lot of people. More people means more chances of getting a source!

The two were still in disguise and their appearance didn't attract any attention even after they entered a crowded bar bar

As soon as they entered, the two were immediately irritated by the loud sound and blinding lights inside

There are a lot of chairs and tables inside but most of the people were not in their seats as they are busy enjoying themselves through dancing

Both Calter and Kence are quite the introvert and they don't like these kinds of places

Due to the crowd, the two took a few minutes before they reached the bar's counter and they sat on the wooden stools

To appear as normal as possible, Calter even ordered drinks for both of them

Calter is not fond of drinking as it can make his body lose strength. Lesser strength means he won't be able to react in time when an enemy appeared

However for the mission and .....

Calter looked at Kence, although the latter does not have his usual looks, the former was still attracted to him. The alcohol made Calter thinks of what will happen if Kence becomes drunk

Will Kence become aggressive when drunk? Will he ... make a move on Calter?

These thoughts brought a great sense of anticipation into Calter's heart and he even forgot the mission for a moment

After regaining his calm, Calter sneakily made three ghost spies in total to spy on the people in the bar

Kence stared at the alcohol in his glass and took a sniff from it. Kence immediately scrunches his nose in disgust but still drunk it in a single shot

The youth grimaces from the bitter taste of the alcohol and Calter almost laugh at that

Calter ordered the common alcohol in the bar to blend in with the crowd but he also felt some pity for Kence. They need to drink more alcohol later, if they only drunk one, they would look suspicious

Thus, Calter ordered another drink for Kence. This time, the alcohol is blue in color and when Kence took a sniff at it, the drink doesn't have that strong alcoholic scent anymore much to his delight

Kence shot Calter a grateful look but he can't help but be amazed at the man. Calter drunk his own drink as if it was just normal water. How amazing!

However, Kence's amazement soon vanished. Seems like Calter is a 'party-goer' and Kence impression of bars .. is not that good. Calter might have done a lot of things with other people he met at the bar before

These thoughts irritated Kence and he pinches Calter's side angrily

"W-what? What did I do again?" Calter asked while almost crying. He already acts kindly by ordering a drink that tastes and looks just like juice for Kence, why is he receiving this unfair treatment?

Kence didn't answer him and just made a 'Hmph' sound. That action of Kence looks cute but Calter didn't know whether to laugh or cry at that
