Kier's dagger attack failed but Halli continued controlling the powerful lightning around and they chased Calter

"[Dark Magic: Demon's Armor!]" A purplish-black armor covered Calter from head to toe. The armor has sharp ends in the shoulder and it also has two horns in the head part

It gave Calter some sort of demonic charm as the armor was pretty translucent and he can still be seen inside that armor. The armor also spread to Calter's swords and he uses the sword along with his armor to block his enemy's attack

The lightning pushed Calter's body away and Kence clearly didn't like that. Kence's body starts glowing with a blue light and he jumps as if he was as light as a feather

When Kence reached a high enough position, his arms were immediately covered with durable and graceful ice that made a bird wing's shape

The ice wings glowed with a blue light too and hundreds of feathers shaped ice came out from it

Due to the range and quantity of Kence's attack, his enemies were forced to block using their strengthened bodies and daggers

Pieces of ice were thrown around and whenever they touched the ground, the ground would surely freeze. If that was because Kence's attack was really just strong or because the ground currently has water in it, Halli and Kier felt that it was the former

Ice immediately formed around Kier and Halli and as soon as Kence's feather attacks ended, the ice around them moved

Kier and Halli were suddenly facing an attack in all directions. Kier's eyes turned savage and he slammed his palms on the ground

Tens of pillars of lightning appeared and they destroyed all of Kence's ice. The pillars even had strength remaining to continue attacking Calter that is approaching them with his armor

Calter slashed his sword in the lightning but the armor covering it starts getting destroyed. Unfortunately, Calter already 'turn off' Karami as although he can use it for a longer time, he still wants to preserve his mana. If Karami is still activated, Calter would be able to see weak points in his enemy's attacks

Halli was about to help Kier but two streaks of winds taller than a human were already coming at him from the skeleton mages' staff

If that wasn't enough, Kence even spread his icy powers in the streaks of winds and ice formed on them

Thus, Halli was forced to block that just by himself

"[Lightning Magic: Lightning Breath!]"

Halli gathered a lot of mana into his stomach and he can feel them turning into lightning. Halli made a circle shape from his hand and placed it in front of him before opening his mouth

A streak of blinding yellow-colored lighting with some red tinges came out from Halli's mouth and it met the streaks of icy winds

The icy winds lose momentum and they can't reach Halli in a short time. Halli is certainly far stronger than the skeleton mages but he wasn't just fighting them, Kence is also in the fight!

Soon, Halli starts losing the fight and in his eyes, the image of a red bolt of lightning appeared

Halli's body glowed with a red light and the skies further rage. After some time, another streak of red lightning descended from the skies and it hits Halli

Some bodily cuts immediately appeared in Halli's body but his aura just continued to grow and the muscles in his body bulges

With the help from the heavens, Halli's attack turned stronger than before and he immediately overwhelmed Kence and the skeleton mages

Thicker and stronger lightning was generated by Halli and it charges in Kence direction

Kence was forced to stop assisting the skeleton mages and he moved away to dodge. However, the lightning splits into multiple smaller ones and they chased him

Kence did his best to dodge all of the lightning but one of them still manages to hit his left arm and it left a blood trail in it

If Kence was in his normal state, he would surely cry from the pain but his heart once again starts spreading an even stronger icy power than before

Kence gained another new and powerful strength. The youth spread his arms and the water from the rain around immediately turned into soft snow that charged in Halli's direction while ice formed and covered his left arm

Calter that was still clashing with Kier saw Kence getting hurt and his heart starts to boil with so much anger

Calter's vision literally darkened and he starts slashing his sword towards Kier even more aggressively. Kier continuously used his dagger to block but he was soon overwhelmed and Calter managed to leave a cut in his left arm too

Kier gritted his teeth before the same thing that happened to Halli happened to him. A red bolt of lightning appeared in Kier's eyes and the heavens sent another lightning towards Kier

Calter doesn't have a choice but to moved away from Kier and watched as his enemy turned stronger than before despite having some cuts in his body

As soon as the lightning from the heavens vanished, the two sides clashed again. It was a dagger versus sword but the two can't get any advantage

Kier's attack speed is certainly quicker than Calter but the latter's attack was stronger. After some time, the two moved away from each other and resorted to another form of attack

"[Dark Magic: Acid Rain!]" Calter waved his sword around and the raindrops start turning green in color. Unfortunately, the lightning that was continuously swimming around Kier's body evaporated those acids. However, with this, Kier will use up more of his power as the acids are eating them away

"[Lightning Magic: Lighting Arrow!]" Kier gathered large amounts of lightning energies above him and they formed into an extremely condensed arrow of lightning and he threw it towards Calter

Fortunately for Calter, his spell casting speed is really superior to the other and he manages to activate another spell of his

"[Dark Magic: Dark Fog!]" Pitch black fogs spread around Calter. Both his aura and body blended with it causing Kier to barely miss hitting his body

The lightning arrowed continued behind Calter and was about the hit and destroy one of the buildings when a little girl appeared

The Head Master effortlessly crushed Kier's lightning with her b are hand before a heatwave traveled from his body

The heatwave literally evaporated the rain droplets while also dispelling the magic the four are currently using

The heat even manages to stop the rain and the people that were not moving earlier starts to move again. The four didn't even realize that their fighting stage is currently devoid of any people and although there are a lot of City Guards, none of them stops their fight

With the Head Master's help, even the rain suddenly stops just like that and the four kneeled on the ground while feeling weakness all over their bodies

Halli and Kier are currently in a weakened state. The heavens blessed them with more power but it also put a great burden on their bodies

As for Kence, his hearts also gave him stronger powers but it was not something that the current him can use without any consequences

For the second time, Kence can feel uncomfortably cold again to the point that his whole body was shivering. Kence should not feel something like this but the cold powers from his heart were rampaging inside him again. Fortunately, it was weaker than the first time it happened

Calter on the other hand uses a lot of mana. The lightning from Kier and Halli is no joke, his Demon's Armor uses a lot of mana to use and repairing them also required a lot of mana

Of course, Calter didn't use all of his mana but now that the fight is over, he can feel the fatigue from his soul. Calter's soul is still not that powerful to enable him to use all of his mana

The four of them are currently not in a good condition and the usual playful Head Master vanishes and was replaced by a cold one

The Head Master reappeared in front of Kence and he touches the youth's chest to stop it from causing more damage. Since Kence irresponsibly uses the power inside it, some leaks appeared in his heart

After that, the little girl went to Kier and Halli and she extracted the leftover lightning inside their bodies

The four didn't dare to speak as they know that it was a grave crime to fight inside Escardon City and also because this is the first time that they saw the Head Master being like this

After giving some 'first aids' the Head Master made several portals and the bodies of the four were pulled inside those portals

"I know that the heavens would make a move but ... who would have thought that it would be like this" the Head Master commented before turning her eyes towards the curious people around

"Heh ... so much for preserving the current state of the world.. This would just affect the world more and more. Today, it was these people that were affected, but in the future, who knows how many more people will be affected?"
