The two were having their own thoughts when a bright light entered their vision. When they turned their heads, they saw that a glowing thing was currently floating behind them

The thing looks like a crystal and it has some sort of a pick shape and behind it was a portal to the outside world. Kence was confused at what that thing is but Calter was different. The young master can feel that the crystal was this dungeon's core

It seems like they finally finished clearing this dungeon. The time it took might be short but it was extremely dangerous!

If not for the two being special, they wouldn't be able to clear this dungeon. Normal mages at their level are simply no match for this dungeon

After all, they fought with the swordsmen, archers, and mages. Those are fifteen people at their level and each one of them was stronger than the normal people at their rank

It can almost be said that only special Grand Knights can clear this dungeon. Ordinary people would just be killed and die here

Calter starts walking towards that pick shaped core and it landed on the ground. The core can only protect itself by having the dungeon monsters and terrain try to kill the invaders. However, if all those things were cleared, the core doesn't have any power to resist at all

Calter took the core and he guided Kence towards the portal to finally exit this dungeon. As soon as they got out, a little girl was already there waiting for them

Naturally, it was the Head Master that have smiles on her face again. This time, the smile was already close to the smile she has before the four seeds caught in the middle of the Escardon City

"Good job" the Head Master said and Calter presented the dungeon core to her. Calter doesn't see anything precious in that dungeon aside from the Dungeon Core that is different than normal

Calter doesn't know what exactly the secret of that core is but it was clearly special

"This would be your reward" the Head Master said and a red light was shot out from her hands that covered the entirety of the crystal pick and mysterious runes appeared in its body

"This core can save your lives. When danger arrives, just use your will and the power it has will activate. However, only use this at the most desperate times. Don't use it lightly!" The little girl warned and the two gulps at the same time

Who would have thought after angering the Head Master, after they cleared this dungeon, they would even be rewarded like this? No one would expect something like this

"Thank you, Head Master" the two said at the same time and the little girl just waved her hand causing a portal to appear

"Enter it and rest in the Tower"

The two didn't need to be told twice and they entered the portal. As soon as they exited it, they found out that they are already back at the tower in one of the rooms there

"Haaaa, finally we can rest!" Kence said and he immediately runs towards the large bed and laid his body in it. The soft and smooth texture of the bed was something that Kence misses a lot and he loves this feeling

As for Calter, he sat next to Kence and pole the youth with his finger. "W-what is it?" Kence asked nervously. He was worried that Calter would want to talk about what happened earlier which is something he is not ready for

Fortunately, Calter knew Kence. He knows that there is a high chance that Kence would choose to run away. When dealing with Kence, one needs to tackle him in unexpected ways

The atmosphere should be right and you cannot attack him just because you want to. If you do that, there is a high chance that your actions will backfire

"Here, take this" Calter said while putting the core next to Kence. Of course, Kence cannot possibly accept it. In the dungeon, it was Calter that did the most work! Kence's thin skin can't accept such a precious thing that can save lives

"That's yours" Kence said and Calter can feel the former's stubbornness again. Seems like he needs to resort to threatening

"If you won't accept this, I'll just throw it away" Calter said before standing up from his seat and he headed towards the room's window as if he will really throw the core away

"W-what are you doing!" Kence said in a panic and he immediately charges in Calter's direction

Calter's hand was already outside the window and he was holding the core. Any second from now, it can fall out from his hand

"D-don't throw it away! I-I'll accept it!" Kence really feared that Calter would throw such a treasure away and he doesn't have a choice but to take the crystal

However, Kence only planned on storing the crystal. If a danger really arrives, he would choose to use it to save Calter. For Kence, this core is Calter's property, he was only the one that is forced to keep it

"Good choice" Calter said with a chuckle and handed the core to Kence that immediately stored it in his spatial ring. Kence is still afraid that Calter would really throw it away

"H-how can you try throwing it away! W-we worked really hard for it!" Kence scolded with some resentment in his heart. He and Calter literally risked their lives for it! How can he not be a bit angry that Calter disregarded it just like that

"Sorry, I just don't know another way to make you keep it" Calter replied with some embarrassment. He realizes that his previous action was really too much

Kence also puts a lot of effort into that dungeon. It might have really hurt Kence when he does what he did

Thus, Calter did his best to ease Kence's anger that just made the latter even more annoyed
