The two messed with each other for a long time and before they know it, the sky almost darkened signaling that another night will descend

"What are we doing here?" Kence asked with a creased forehead before Calter massages his forehead

"In a few minutes, the sun will set, it won't be bad to watch that, right?" Calter asked with a smile and Kence nodded his head. Watching the sunset is really not that bad

Since the two of them are quite the introverts that can stay in a certain place for a long time without going out, this is one of the rare occasions that they can watch the sunset

Calter waved his hand a piece of cloth appeared that he laid on the ground

"Sit here with me"

This time, Kence didn't make things hard for Calter and he obediently sat on the ground

Calter followed suit and he sat next to Kence before pulling the youth's head to his shoulder

"Your neck might get stiff" Calter bluff. With a Grand Knight's physique, how can Kence even get a stiff neck without doing anything?

Kence can only chuckle at that but didn't say anything. He naturally knows how sticky Calter is and it wouldn't be hard to realize that Calter just wants to have physical contact with him

Soon, the sun finally starts to disappear creating a beautiful orangey hue in the sky

The atmosphere between the two changes into a calm, peaceful, and warm one

"I don't know if the sunset is just really beautiful today or because I am watching it with you" Calter suddenly muttered and Kence gave him a playful pinch in the stomach

"How am I affecting the sun's appearance?" Kence asked with a chuckle but maybe the atmosphere around them was really nice as, after that, he rubs his head on Calter affectionately

This little act of Kence filled Calter's heart with warmth. At normal times, his lust would surely erupt because of Kence's actions but this time, his thoughts were actually pure

"When you watch something normal with someone special, that normal thing also becomes special" Calter replied before kissing Kence in the head. He felt like as long as he is with this person, he would have a beautiful and contented life. In just a span of a whole year, Calter can't already imagine a life without Kence

"Big Brother, you really know how to use your mouth! If other people heard your words, their hearts will surely explode!" Kence said as a compliment but that actually made Calter dissatisfied

"What are you saying? I only use these kinds of words with you"

To make sure that his sincerity will be seen by Kence, Calter moves in front of the youth while looking straight into the other man's eyes

"Kence, you know that I love you. Even as a joke, don't say things like that again, okay? I don't like hearing it especially since we are still not in an official relationship"

With Calter's words, Kence's heart melted and the memories of the past year came pouring into his mind and heart

The next thing that Kence knew was that Calter is already hugging him while flashes of violent lightning filled his vision. The smell of charred flesh also wafted in the air and Kence heard Calter coughing before some sort of warm liquid landed on his back

Not far from them, Kence's shocked eyes landed on a group of people looking at him and Calter with murderous intents. Most of them were unfamiliar faces for him but two of them are people that he is extremely familiar with

Before Kence can even register what is happening, he felt Calter moving his body and the two are now face to face with each other

"K-Kence ... cough .... r-run!" Just saying these few words was already hard for Calter

The lightning from before was powerful but at normal times, he can easily block or dodge them. However, at that time, Calter has his guards on the low as he is anticipating what Kence's next words may be
