The two didn't know it but the moon necklace hanging on Kence's neck did its wonder again. Their environment was filled with cold energy and the necklace greedily absorbed those energies without anyone noticing it

The necklace would then inject the cold energy straight to Kence's heart. The icy area on Kence's heart slowly grew again

"[Dark Summon Magic: Skeleton Warriors!]" Calter summoned another group of skeletons to become Kence's 'punching bag'

Calter used his other hand to wipe the cold sweats that formed on his forehead. The way Kence recklessly cast spells after one another scared him. He's already heaven defying but why is Kence is also like this?

Kence should have used up all of his mana long ago! Even his soul must be aching a lot now.

Kence only stopped when the moon necklace entered another round of 'slumber' and stopped injecting his heart with icy energy. The icy area grew into 5 inches now

The fatigued that Kence didn't felt before assaulted his body at once and he regained his senses. Kence became tired and he fell on the ground butt first while panting hard

Calter immediately went on his side to check his condition. Fortunately, there wasn't anything wrong to Kence. He's just tired from casting spells non-stop

Although what happened earlier made Calter suspicious but he can't see anything wrong with Kence or how he can do that and just threw the matter at the back of his mind

As long as Kence is safe, that's all that matters to Calter

Calter sat on the area next to Kence and pulled the youth's body on his. Kence's head rested on his master's shoulder while he was catching his breath. This position of them gave Kence a sense of joy

After recovering for a while, Kence moved away from Calter and started apologizing. "B-Big brother, I'm sorry. I-I didn't know what happened" Kence said while playing with his fingers

He really doesn't know what happened to him. His body just instinctively wants to fight like that

Calter flicked Kence's forehead causing the latter to pout. "No need to apologize. Besides, you did well, my Kence is really strong" Calter said while pinching the side of his beloved's cheeks

"Really?" Kence asked excitedly like a puppy being praised by his owner

"Yup, I'm proud of you!" Calter said but continued his words on his mind 'But you are really scary when you're that jealous'

Calter vowed to himself not to make Kence too jealous although Kence is also cute when jealous.

"Hehe" Kence giggled

Kel exited the carriage before walking on the side and waited for his masters. The next one that got out of the carriage is Calter and he hold out his hand to help the last person inside. Kence held Calter's hand which brought a red blush on his cheeks

The coachman, which is the Shan Clan's Grand Elder parked the carriage on the side before standing behind of the two youths

Calter originally doesn't want to let Kence go out from the safe place underground but he figured that the youth still needs to go outside sometimes

He doesn't want Kence to become fed up and always be holed up like a prisoner. Although, Kence being Kence doesn't mind it that much. For him, he can just continue cultivating in peace and doesn't have that much desire to go out at all.

But to be safe, they are accompanied by two top tier Knights. Calter sigh while looking at Kence. Even if Calter wants Kence to go outside, their current place is not the place he wants it to be. But when Kence learned that he's going somewhere, the youth asked if he can come too. As Calter wants Kence to have a will of his own, how can he refuse?

They are in the property that Calter won from the Hale Clan. He will start now in growing his own force. The prisoners that the City Lord gave him are also in front of them

Fifteen people were arranged in a single line. Most of them has an ugly appearance that if you saw them you will really think of them as criminals

Their hands were in front of them but their whole hands were covered by some sort of metal. Those metals have a property that prevented them from using their powers

In front of the prisoners were the Magic Warriors of the Shan Clan acting as guards to prevent anyone from escaping. However, when those warriors saw Calter and his company approaching, they immediately stood at the back of the prisoners while straightening up their bodies which visibly stiffened from fear

Well, how can they not fear Calter? The man literally hold their lives and he can do what he wants with them

The state of this place was better than before. The big house was on the process of renovation but it can still be used. There are also some target practice dummies. The place was still in the early stage of development but Calter don't want to waste any time. It's not liked these prisoners are born with a silver spoon on the mouth. They might have lived in a place worse than this before

Kence grasp the edge of Calter's clothes while looking at the prisoners with fear. Those people look scary to him!

Calter naturally sensed Kence's discomfort. "Do you want to go inside the house first?" Calter asked in hope that Kence will agree

Worst case scenario, blood will be spilled today and Calter don't want Kence to witness something like that. For him, Kence is still young and won't be able to handle such scenes. He doesn't want to traumatize the youth

Too bad that Kence shook his head and started acting less afraid and Calter can only sigh at that. He planned on being cruel to these prisoners but how can he do that in front of Kence? He needs to be a bit 'kinder'

"I'm fine Big Brother. Don't worry about me!" Kence reassured although his discomfort was still slightly visible on him

Calter can only let Kence do what he wants and he walk in front of the prisoners with a cold face

"From now on I am your master. I don't like wasting time, if you take an oath through the God of Order to become my eternals slaves, you will continue living and even be given an opportunity to raise your strength. But to those that will refuse, you all know what will happen"

Calter wants to say that those who will refuse would be killed but he can't do that in front of Kence.

The prisoners that came from lowly origins naturally didn't know about the God of Order's ability and treated Calter's words as bullshit

One of them even have the audacity to glare at Calter. "Brat, let me go now if you don't want to die!" These prisoners treated Calter as a brat and didn't put him on their eyes not knowing whether they will live or not depended on this 'brat'

Calter just like what he said, doesn't like wasting time. He signals at one of the Magic Warriors and the mage was about to kill the prisoner on the spot but Calter stopped him

"Not here!" The mage immediately stopped and drag the prisoner to god knows where

"Hey! Hey! Where are you taking me?" The prisoner protested and resisted but the metal covering their hands not only prevented them from using magic. It also made their bodies weaker and no matter how much he struggled, he won't live for another day

"You all know what that man's fate is. Anyone else who wants to continue on his footsteps?" Calter asked coldly which made the prisoners' heart to shudder in fear

They thought Calter is a naive brat but his cruelty exceeded their expectation. Most people will at most injured that prisoner and if he still didn't yield, only then would he then be killed. But Calter directly ordered someone to kill him after only a single mistake. They now realized that this kid is not like what they think

Kence looked at his master's back while his cheeks turned red again. He didn't know what happened but seeing a different side of his master makes him think that Calter is really cool

He's like a young woman falling in love with a mature, bad boy man

Calter was oblivious of this and continued staring at the prisoners. One of the prisoners gritted his teeth and talked. "I'm willing to be your servant!" The prisoner declared

Unlike the other prisoners, this one has a thinner body and wasn't muscular. Over all he looks like an average man which is different from the other burly prisoners

Maybe that is also the reason that he's smarter than the others and decided to be the first one to surrender. The first one is always the most important! Who knows if Calter will take a liking to him and elevate his position?

Thus, he seized the chance that the others are still having second thoughts. Calter nodded his head in satisfaction. He likes efficiency, if the others are as sensitive as this man wouldn't that make things faster?

"Okay, take an oath now" although the man doesn't know why he needs to take an oath but he still obeyed

Much to the prisoners' surprise and even some of the Magic Warriors, that particular prisoner glowed with a golden light. A light so powerful that it will make anyone feel how weak and lowly they are

"Good, your name now is number 1!" Calter declared. He doesn't want to bother remembering their names and just planned on renaming them numerically

"T-Thank you, master!" Number one doesn't know what happened but he feels as if his life was on Calter's hand. As if the youth can easily turn him into a dead body anytime, he wants to. Even the thought of betrayal will vanish immediately as soon as it was formed

"I appoint you as the captain of this batch. You can punish them if they disrespected you but their lives are for me to decide, got it?" Calter doesn't want any of the force he nurtured to be killed easily. He will pour effort and resources on them after all that he doesn't want to go into waste

Number one nodded his head obediently and was happy that his decision is right. As the first one that surrendered, he became the captain

Calter turned his focus on the remaining thirteen prisoners with a dark eye. "Do you surrender or not? I don't want to waste time"

Without a choice, the prisoners take the oath too and their bodies were also covered with a blinding golden light

"Remove their cuffs!" Calter ordered coldly and the magic warriors immediately obeyed and took the keys from their spatial rings

Calter scanned them and picked the ugliest one. His next move will be a bit dangerous and if one of them will die, it was better if it's the ugliest. At least in that way, Kence's fear on their appearance might lessen

"You, come here!" Calter ordered to the ugliest one and the prisoners who had the feeling of his life being held by Calter obeyed

A dungeon core appeared on Calter's palm and he tossed it on the prisoner. The prisoner panicked and quickly caught the core

"Listen to me and do what I will say" Calter started explaining the process on how to become a Core Mage. He wasn't afraid that the people around would have funny thoughts

They are all his eternal slaves now and they won't be able to betray him. If Calter will build a force, it was better if they are consisted of Core Mages. Just look at how powerful Calter become after being a Core Mage

The prisoner easily digested Calter's instructions as the youth explained it in a way that is easy to understand

The prisoner started the process according to what his new master said.. The prisoner coated the core using his mana and chanted some words. He still wasn't able to finish his chant when the clouds in the sky turned dark as if the heavens were angered
