Marvel: Breezing Through History as an Eternal

Chapter 171: Thor, God of Thunder. 2010 CE

“Stop.”

Everything around Thor and Kojirou suddenly froze in time, and Thor could see from the edge of his eye that Pluto was walking out of the shack, still in his eldritch armour.

Thor wanted to move, but again, he couldn’t. Suddenly, he saw that the body of his redhead friend disappeared, instead, it reappeared where he got knocked out, from the looks of it, he’s still breathing.

That made him calm down, but he was still frozen.

Pluto then raised his hand, and Mjolnir flew towards him, to his hand. Thor then could move again, dropping to the ground. Kojirou sheathed his sword, before walking towards his father.

“U-Uncle… Where’s Jane?” Thor asked, he was sweating heavily.

“In the Shack, sleeping.” said Pluto, arriving in front of Thor. “Congratulations on being worthy again.”

“Is this your goal? To help me get Mjolnir back?” Thor questioned softly, already tired from the mental pressure he has for this couple of days.

“Half of the reason.” said Pluto as he looked at the place where the sliced up body used to rest. “What did you feel when you saw your friend getting killed like that?”

Thor was silent for a second, before answering. “Despair… Rage… Guilt…”

Pluto hummed. “And yet you still want to declare war,” he continued. “You want to make your people feel like that?”

Thor knelt tiredly on the ground. “N-No… I was mistaken… I was… prideful…”

“Finally… you realised that…” Pluto chuckled. He then gave Mjolnir to Kojirou beside him, and Kojirou was able to take it easily, making Thor just cry in his mind about how not special he is in front of Mjolnir…

Pluto knelt in front of Thor, and patted his shoulder. “You okay?”

“I’m… fine…” Thor murmured.

Pluto looked at his missing hand, and he rewind Thor’s body to a state where the hand wasn’t cut off yet. “Come on, let’s have some tea in the shack, SHIELD should be coming shortly.”

A woman was lying peacefully on a hospital bed as an Asian man read a book beside the bed, waiting for the woman to wake up.

The woman then suddenly jolted awake, still having the adrenaline from before.

The woman was of course Sif, and the man was Kojirou, still in his jogging suit, and he was using his iPod.

Sif turned towards Kojirou and jumped off the bed, trying to find a way to defend herself.

“Wow, lady, I think you should calm down for a second.” said Kojirou, standing carefully to not make Sif panic.

Sif looked around her, and it was an unfamiliar place. “Where is this?!”

“You’re in a SHIELD facility,” said Kojirou calmly. “Your friends are outside, just waiting for you to wake up, they’re leaving now.”

“What?!” Sif exclaimed, trying to find her stuff, but then, she found that she wasn’t in her clothing, instead, she was in a hospital gown. That made her blush, and glared daggers at Kojirou. “Did you undress me while I was sleeping?!”

“What? No…” Kojirou murmured. “The Agents are the one who took your clothes off, although I volunteered…”

Sif rushed towards him, and grabbed his shirt by the neck. “What did you say?”

Kojirou shrugged. “Hey, I was being honest.”

Sif frowned, and released her grasp on his shirt. “Where are my things?”

“Outside, with the agents,” said Kojirou. “Be careful around them, one might stab you in the back if you’re not careful.”

Sif raised her eyebrow. “Thank you for the warning…” After that, she walked outside the room, trying to find her things.

Kojirou just whistled as he saw her ass jiggle when she walked away, and chuckled to himself before taking his book and putting it in his bag.

“What are you doing?” a voice suddenly sounded, making Kojirou flinch. He turned around, and saw his father leaning on the door frame.

“Father! You scared the shit out of me…” Kojirou cursed.

“You’ve changed a lot in these years.” Pluto hummed. “From an honourable man… to… this…”

“What? I do not have a long list of suitable partners.” Kojirou shrugged. “It’s either my sisters by rings… or… that’s it actually… but now, an Asgardian was presented before me, I will shoot my shot father…”

“I wasn’t talking about that, I could not give any fucks about your taste in women.” Pluto stated. “I was talking about the way you behave… you used to call me Pluto-sama…”

“I know… it feels weird… but being free from those traditions… it’s a bit nice.” Kojirou nodded. “I like the way I am today, father, it's all thanks to you.”

Pluto chuckled. “Alright, if you decide to take a woman as your partner, I’ll officiate it.”

Kojirou smiled. “I’ll call you when that time comes.”

Pluto hummed. “What are you doing after this?”

“Preparing for a mission,” said Kojirou. “Hydra base, the new kid is coming with me.”

“Isaiah? Wow, you’re quite quick on deciding…”

“He has experience, so it’s an easy choice,” said Kojirou as he grabbed his bag. “Besides, he has a strong sense of justice, he’s a good match.”

“Then I’m glad.” Pluto said. “Tell him to meet me after the mission.”

“Will do father.” Said Kojirou, before pressing a device that he brought. A small blue energy square suddenly appeared on top of him, and it came down to the ground. As it touched Kojirou, his body disappeared slowly, and he vanished from the place.

Pluto then exited the room, walking towards Thor that was waiting for Sif outside.

As the Asgardians gathered in the desert, Thor called for Heimdall. He didn't answer for a quick minute, but then the Bifrost appeared slowly from the sky. Thor kissed Jane in front of the others, making some uncomfortable, and he walked toward Pluto.

“Uncle… Thank you…” he said sincerely. “Even though you almost killed me many times this week, I’m still grateful for what you did to me. You made me realise something…”

“Hm, well, I told you I was going to give you one final lesson,” said Pluto. “After this, I’m not going to help you anymore.”

Thor chuckled. “Fair enough. I will deal with Loki for you.”

“Oh no, I fully support Loki becoming king.” said Pluto, surprising Thor. “He’s more capable than you, I have to beat you many times before you’re like this, while him? He just needs a couple of talks and boom! Done.”

“W-What? You don’t want me to be king?” Thor stuttered.

“You’re not my favourite Asgardian prince Thor.” said Pluto, patting Thor’s shoulder. “Deal with it.”

“B-But Loki is destroying Asga—”

“Nope, I don’t care, Asgard is Asgard’s matter, earth is earth’s matter.” Pluto said. “Just go.”

Thor then walked to the others rather sloppily, still didn’t believe that he’s not the favourite child in Pluto’s eyes. After that, the bifrost swallowed them, sending them back to Asgard.

“You have made a mess in our base, Mr. Smith…“Coulson said suddenly.

“Well, that was a makeshift base, so it doesn’t really matter does it?” Pluto smiled.

Coulson sighed. “There’s another trouble coming, in Harlem this time, there’s a report that Hulk was sighted near there.‘

“Well, you should deal with that, I’m not going to do all SHIELD’s work.” Pluto said, patting Coulson’s shoulder. “You should come out for tea sometimes, Agent.”

Coulson smiled bitterly. “I’ll find some time.”

Pluto hummed. “Watch out for snakes Coulson, they’re everywhere.”

“Snakes?” Coulson frowned.

Pluto just smiled at him, and he vanished into thin air, leaving the SHIELD agents in the middle of the desert.
