Master Of The Omnitrix

Since I woke up as Ben Tennyson, I have been trying my best to prepare for the horrors that have yet to come.

First thing that had been done was show that I was smart , not my full intelligence as that would get too much attention before I am ready. I mean , a 5 year old college kid in 2001 is gonna make news .

I thought it best to only skip 2 grades .

I also joined a karate club , don't know if it was the same one that Gwen had gone . Whether the Omnitrix falls into my hands or not, improvement on my fighting technique, just in case .

Using the public library ( with permission) for a refresher on all my knowledge such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Sciences ( Though some from my mysterious past memories due to the current time).

That's not even counting the games and sports I joined to disguise my physical training such Baseball and Soccer ( some things from canon) .

As a present for being their good 'Benji'(ugh) , they gave me a bike to ride . This wouldn't be so important if not for came to visit and teach me...

" Focus Ben or you'll fall ." Mr. Badass' words snapped me out of my excitement.

" Sorry " Was my reply to the great man .

I mean sure , I shouldn't fanboy over my own grandfather but unlike almost everyone in the Ben 10 cast , he is the epitome of Badass Normal . I can can get why the Omnitrix was meant for him .

" Great job Ben" Max shouted from the distance.

" Look at how great you were , your a natural" He said to me as he ruffled my hair after I stopped riding.

" Only thanks to you ", was my reply. A little white lie wouldn't hurt anyone , especially one as insignificant as knowing how to ride a bike .

" That reminds of the time rode a NASCAR..." aaaaaand there he is reminiscing about he's plumber days .

This is my chance to grill him.

" Hey Grandma, are you really just a Plumber ?"

I asked subtlety.

" What do you mean Ben ?" Max questioned in turn as his face became carefully blank of emotion .

" You go on so many cool adventures and have so many awesome stories , I want to be like but your job doesn't.. shouldn't allow me to do it. So are you a secret agent and how can I join ? " I questioned with all the seriousness of a 6 year. The specific wording should make it seem like a child's question but plant the idea .

While Max didn't take me to the Mount Rushmore base , he to around other places that were secretly Plumber bases from the show telling me how they were just oh so important without specifying why, just I'd need it ( wink wink ) and taught me so much - survival skills , combat medicine and mechanics . All under the guise of Camp training during Summer vacation.

Near my 7th birthday, I met another important person in my future .

" Now Ben be nice to your cousins Gwen and Ken, " Sandra nagged on to me as we were outside a comfy looking house inside of a fancy neighborhood .

I never realised how much our parents liked to rhyme .

As it opened and I was 'guided' ( pushed ) inside and 'lead' ( pulled ) to were Gwen and Ken - Her Screen Time needing - older( by 2 years ) brother.

I awkwardly stood in place waiting for the the little girl to look up from her books.

Any minute ....

" Hi , My name is Ben. "

The Human-Anodite Hybrid raises her redhead in surprised before smiling brightly with her surprisingly white teeth.

" Hi , I'm Gwen ."

" What are you reading ?" I ask out of curiosity.

" Oh it's so cool....These little things called atoms ....States of Matter ...."

Ah , so that's why they hate each . Ben probably didn't like the school talk and in 6 year old fashion most likely insulted her .
