Mission XX: Seducing The Great Seducer

What the heck is going on here? I wish they get over with this before JK arrives. I am sure he will be very hurt if he witnesses this scene.

Jeff thought as he raised his gaze to search for any sign of Jackson in the club, he got another shock when he saw Jackson standing behind the couch Jasmine and Kai sits on.

Others also noticed his presence too except Jasmine and Kai who were still kissing.

"Damn, this is bad!" Evelyn remarked as he stares at Jackson's furious expression. The only one excited about seeing this scene was Jane, the sole reason why Jackson arrived so late to the club.

"Wow, I never knew that Kai was good at kissing until this moment. This is one hell of a kiss. I feel like taking the video of this so I can recall this epic moment for a long time," Jane said smiling radiantly. Her satisfactory smile shows that she enjoyed watching this scene.

Jasmine abruptly pulled away from Kai when she heard Jane's annoying voice. Her eyes widened in shock when she saw Jackson standing behind their couch. Seeing this expression on his face, she felt a funny sensation in her heart.

"Ice Prince...," Jackson left where he stood before she could complete her words.

"Let's exchange seats," Jackson said in a cold tone when he reach where Steve sat with Evelyn holding onto his hand.

"Jack, why do you want us to exchange seats? I feel like the spot beside Jasmine is better than here. We...,"

"Don't touch me if you don't want to get your hand broken before you get to the hotel," Jackson threatened fiercely brushing Jane's hands off his arm.

Noticing that Jackson wasn't in a good mood after what he witnessed, Steve quickly stood up with Evelyn following him closely. They sat on the same couch Kai and Jasmine sat down.

A few minutes passed yet no one uttered a word. Everyone felt awkward about the silence but no one was brave enough to break the tension.

"JK, what took you both so long to get to the club? Did you encounter any problem on the way?" Jeff brave up to break the silence despite knowing that it might infuriate Jackson even more.

"While on our way here, I suddenly developed a stomach cramp. Jack couldn't bear to see me in pain so he opted to buy medicine in the pharmacy for me," Jane said sweetly while focusing her attention on Jasmine.

"Look at her acting like she and Jack are a thing. I am sure that she is just sugar coating the incident to make Jasmine jealous. She wants to cause a misunderstanding between them. She is so cheap," Evelyn muttered throwing Jane a piercing glance.

"I am sure purchasing few drugs for you wouldn't have taken that long so what else did you guys do?" Evelyn asked staring at Jackson for answers. She wanted Jackson to be the one to answer her question since he is always frank especially when it comes to issues concerning Jane.

"Oh about that...," Jane trailed to get everyone attention. Jasmine staring at Jane wish she could sew the lady's mouth up. At least that way she won't be able to hear her voice ever again.

"After Jack was so kind enough to purchase the drugs and water for me, we realise that the car had developed problems. Jack thought the problem was something he could fix, but after several attempts, we realised that the car couldn't be fixed," Jane said still staring at Jasmine like it was Jasmine she was narrating the incident to.

"He could have just hailed a taxi so why did he waste precious time on the goddamn car. The scene he met wouldn't have occurred if he had come here sooner," Jeff mumbled in annoyance. Jackson sitting beside him heard him but he pretended not to. He was too furious to speak.

He had hurried down here with hopes of being with her but the scene he met earlier had ruined his mood and the rest of the night.

"I guess he isn't as cruel as people think. He couldn't bear to abandon a helpless woman on the road," Jasmine said to the annoyance of the smiling Jane.

Helpless? How dare she call me a helpless lady?

Jane thought as she clenched her fist. She threw murderous glances at Jasmine.

"How am I...,"

"Let's go dance. I don't want to spend another second here," Jackson said standing up immediately. He walked into the crowd to the shock of everyone.

"I have never seen Jack dance except when he danced with Jasmine at the party. Seeing him ask Jane he hates for a dance, I guess he is really hurt," Evelyn said as she stare into the crowd Jackson has disappeared into. She could see Jane search for him on the dance floor.

"And the most painful part of this is that he can't voice out his pains. He can't tell her how hurt he feels. I feel very terrible on his behalf," Steve said unhappily.

"Let's go dance too and in the process, we will search for him. I am afraid he might take out his anger on an innocent person," Evelyn said as she stood up still holding onto Steve's hand. They both left without uttering a word to anyone.

Jeff and Catherine also left a few minutes later leaving only Kai and Jasmine together.

Why do I have this feeling that they are all upset with me and the problem is I don't know what I did wrong to annoy them.

Jasmine thought as she stare at the empty seats. Looking carefully at the place Jackson last sat down, she saw something like his cellphone lying on the couch.

She momentarily stood up and went to confirm what exactly it was. She wasn't surprised when she saw her guess that it was a cellphone lying there was correct.

"Why does he have the picture of the two of us as his wallpaper?" Jasmine murmured on seeing Jackson's phone wallpaper.

"Is it one of the guys' phones?" Kai's calm voice disrupted her thoughts.

"Yeah, I will give it to him when I see him but before that let's go dance," Jasmine said as she quickly put the cellphone in her trouser pocket.
