"Young man... Don't you dare meddle with our Boss' affairs! If you want to survive then go!".

Hearing the words of Virsen's men, Demian gave them a savage look as if he was ready to devour the person in front of him. 

After that, Demian punched them and knocked them out of his sight. 

Virsen clenched his fists in anger because he could not accept that his men were defeated by one person. 

Unbeknownst to Virsen, Demian ran to him and pulled Reina from beside him.

Realizing that Reina was with Demian, Virsen became even more furious. Therefore he immediately aimed the gun.

Reina was scared so she immediately hid behind Demian's back. 

"I asked you to leave, but you challenged me instead. Therefore you are prepared to die!". Virsen said as he prepared to pull the trigger.

However, before Virsen pulled the trigger, Demian ran lightning fast towards Virsen, making Virsen hesitate to release the trigger. 

Unbeknownst to Virsen, Demian was already in front of him holding his hand that was holding the gun. After that Demian pointed the gun up and released the trigger repeatedly until the straightener ran out. 

Bang .... bang ... bang ... bang ...

Hearing the repeated gunshots, Reina immediately covered her ears and closed her eyes.

After that, Demian hit Virsen in the chest and stomach so hard that Virsen fell to the ground with his empty gun.

"Ahhh...". Virsen groaned in pain while holding his aching chest. 

"Fuck you! How dare you make me like this, who are you really?". Virsen asked in a deep voice. 

Demian squatted in front of him, after which he smiled sarcastically as he said. "I am her future husband, we will probably get married next week. So, prepare yourself to attend our wedding!".

Virsen was silent, suddenly his chest hurt like being slashed by a sharp knife.

Demian said that on purpose because he suddenly remembered Qiara's request to help her get rid of Virsen. And the only way is to marry Reina.

Since Reina is Virsen's heart and common sense, if he loses Reina then his heart will not function normally and his senses will be disturbed. Virsen's life will be tormented then and there.

"Qiara is right... This man named Virsen looks bad when he finds out Reina will marry another man. Is his love for Reina too deep?". Demian thought as he watched Virsen's extremely ugly expression.

Meanwhile, Reina stood up straight while covering her mouth in shock, she didn't expect that Demian would admit her as part of his future wife. 

"Did he consciously say it? I am his future wife to be married next week?". Reina thought.

Reina didn't know whether to be happy or sad, because Demian's confession wasn't clear. 

"Let's go!". Demian held Reina's hand and asked her to leave the house immediately.

Reina nodded obediently, her heart was very happy when she saw Demian's hand tightly holding her hand. 

"You two are lying...". Virsen shouted very loudly after he was silent for a long time.

Everyone in the room was immediately shocked, his injured men shuddered in horror as they tried to stand up.

Demian and Reina stopped walking when they heard the scream.

They both turned around, at that moment they saw Virsen walking towards them with a dark expression. Demian immediately asked Reina to hide behind him.

"What do you want!". Demian asked calmly after Virsen stood in front of him. 

"Tell me that what you said was a lie, you bastard!". Virsen shouted again while pointing at Demian.

"I....". Demian didn't continue his words when he saw Reina suddenly come out of hiding and stand with her back to him. 

"What are you doing?". Demian asked worriedly. 

Reina glanced at Demian without emission, and she then said. "Let me explain to him so he can understand."

Demian took a deep breath, after that he tried to trust Reina by letting her talk face to face with Virsen. Even so, Demian remained standing behind Reina warily.

"Honey... Please tell me that you only love me! Also tell me that what that jerk said is wrong!". Virsen said with teary eyes holding back his tears.

Reina pushed away Virsen's hands which were holding his shoulders roughly. 

After that Reina looked at Virsen bravely because she already knew what Virsen's weakness was.

"Virsen Adamson, I used to love you so much. But, you hurt my heart until I almost went crazy with fear. Because of you, I became a heartless human being so I rejected many men out of fear. But, now I have found my soulmate who will accompany me until I grow old. That means I don't have the slightest love for you, only pity. So make sure you are healthy so you can attend our wedding." Reina said.

Virsen's tears spilled down his cheeks because Reina's words hurt his heart so much. 

He had heard Reina's expression of hatred so many times that he never gave up because he thought that hatred was a sign that Reina still had a love for him. 

However, tonight Reina did not say hate words, but pity words that made Virsen's heart stabbed with hundreds of needles because he had lost hope and confidence. 

"I know that you are a good man! Therefore, let me go so I can be happy if you love me. Goodbye Virsen!". After saying that, Reina turned around while wiping her tears. 

Reina didn't know why her tears suddenly fell when she saw Virsen looking at her with thumping tears. 

"Let's go!". Reina pulled Demian's hand without turning to look at Virsen. 

Demian immediately followed Reina obediently ignoring Virsen who had slumped to the floor while holding his chest which was in great pain. 

Virsen looked down while sobbing, he wanted to restrain Reina, but his heart forbade it. 

All his servants looked at him with sad eyes, they were touched to see Virsen's love for Reina was so great that he cried like that.

Not long after that, Reina and Demian were already in the car.

Demian quickly started his car leaving the house that Viren rented.

"Are you crying because of him?". Demian asked after a long silence.

Reina, who had been silent all this time, immediately wiped her tears, after that she glanced at Demian who was driving.

"Yes," Reina answered in a hoarse voice.

"Why? Is it because you love him?". Demian asked again with an uncertain feeling. 

For a moment Demian was nervously waiting for Reina's answer, he hoped that Reina would say no.

"I don't know why my heart doesn't want Reina to cry because she still loves Virsen. Is it possible that I'm already jealous?". Inner Demian.

"Why are you just looking at me? Are you ashamed to be honest?" Asked Demian who couldn't wait for Reina's answer.

"Not because of that!". Reina replied.

"Then for what?". Demian urged who was getting impatient.

"Because his gaze reminded me of the past, the time when he was very kind and caring to me. He was willing to endure a lot of pain for my sake. Remembering all that I feel like a bad person. I've been mean to the man who used to be very good to me to show that look? I haven't seen him in years." Reina cried again after telling her the truth. 

Demian was silent, he didn't know what to say because he could feel how much Virsen loved Reina and from Reina's story, Demian also understood how bad it was to hurt someone who was once kind to him. 

"Stop crying! Because crying doesn't suit your brave and decisive character!". Said Demian after a long silence.

Reina took a deep breath, then she wiped her tears. 

"Sorry that I got carried away. Oh yeah, thank you for helping me!". Reina said as she carved a smile on her lips that were wet with tears. 

Demian glanced at Reina for a while, after which he threw his handkerchief at Reina. "Wipe your face with that handkerchief! I don't like seeing women cry, and you don't have to thank me!".

Reina couldn't help but smile, because she found Demian to be very sweet to her right now. 

After that, Reina cleaned her face.

"Ahhh...". Reina groaned as she accidentally wiped the corner of her lip that was hurt by Virsen's slap. 

"What is wrong with you?". Demian asked while glancing at Reina frantically.

Once again Reina couldn't help but smile when she saw Demian who was worried about her.
