After the fight with the Boa sisters, the winner was them and Alex lost for being too overconfident as well as not use his Logia abilities any further just for the reason that he can physically get stronger.

Alex used his time to reflect as well as learn from that fight as to not rely on his Devil Fruit that often and use his physical skills needed to get by.

But now that Alex had [Conqueror Haki] he started to do his training of it using it to use the following techniques that follow domination, incapacitation, and pressure.

These skills are the mere basics for him to use as he was able to accomplish them under the few months he was on the island with the changes of the seasons.

However, Alex tried his hardest to use the advanced version of [Conqueror Haki] infusion but couldn't achieve it.

A very small number of particularly powerful [Conqueror Haki] users, stated to only be a 'handful' by Kaido, can 'infuse' their body and weapons with their conquering spirit in a way that is very similar to [Armament Haki], greatly augmenting the power of their attacks.

After infusing themselves with [Conqueror Haki], the Haki is emitted from the part it is focused at in the form of small dark lightning; as seen with Roger's saber, Newgate's Murakumogiri, Kaido's kanabo, Big Mom's punch, and Luffy's punches and kicks.

This application provides such an immense boost in power, it allowed Luffy to clash evenly against Kaido, the man known as the strongest living creature in the world; he was able to strike Kaido without making physical contact with him and even deal him damage, whereas his earlier use of advanced Armament-enhanced attacks was 'too shallow' and had no significant effect.

This application of infusion made Luffy also able to use this application to deflect Kaido's kanabo with a kick, whereas the best he could do with his highly trained Armament was barely block a strike from the kanabo with both arms, and his arms were left in pain afterward.

All users so far are extremely skilled in [Armament Haki], which can also be used in conjunction with infusion to augment their overall effectiveness.

Since Alex couldn't get what he wanted with the advanced form of the [Conqueror Haki] he decided to train his devil fruit to control the brains of his targets using the animals of the island as an example.

With that Alex uses the electricity from the Goro Goro no Mi to have better control of his target's brain by controlling the electrical signals in the brain.

Alex practices this technique since it requires him to have his full attention to look for what he needs inside the brain of the target he had a couple of practice use it on the animals.

Although it was by trial and error, he made a few mistakes along the way.

But the idea of controlling a living being is possible so long as they are alive and require electricity to work.

Someone proficient enough can do this by controlling the nerves of the targets since they can sense and control neural impulses, the electrical discharges that travel along the nerve fibers within organisms and it could be the same by blocking their memories.

Memories can notably be rewritten by preventing them from accessing parts of their mind or the other way around that he can access their minds into the user's own while they don't receive any notice.

But by doing it this way is a lot of risks to do as a single mistake of the nerves will leave behind unattended consequences as if like losing thought process or lose one of your responses to the body.

Or the most common that Alex faces is the fact that most of the targets die by their head exploding for overuse of his electricity bursting out of the target's head.

The reason why Alex developed this skill he calls [Neuron Control] is to ensure that if he's in a world where he needs items controlling people would help a lot or gathering information would be simple as well.

But more so to gain the experience of theirs into his own but this process takes time to do.

However, that wasn't all that he learned to fly without the use of a lighting cloud to fly he uses diamagnetism to levitate and fly.

All matter in the universe consists of small particles called atoms as each atom contains electrons that circle around the core called the nucleus.

If you place an atom in a magnetic field, electrons doing their circles inside don't like this very much.

They change their motion in the opposite direction of the external influence and they create their own magnetic field that makes the atoms behave as little magnetic needles pointing in the direction opposite to the magnetic field.

So, when Alex surrounds himself in a magnetic field like an atom, he can levitate around himself as he can move around how he wishes as he repels himself to what direction he wishes.

As well as ignore the strong magnetic forces from the islands by producing a stronger magnetic field or be able to track them once he notices an interference in his field.

Over the course of a few months, Rayleigh and the Boa sisters come by to train from time to time to help with Alex's growth.

As time progress Alex was doing well with his Haki training that he can use the basics of them all in a short period of time.

Although if Alex enters the New World, he knows for sure that he will lose to the heavy hitters in the area namely the Yonko crewmates and the Yonko themselves or even unknown strong foes.

Shaking his head, a bit currently he was busy training his [Armament Haki] by repeating to hitting a stone wall for him to unlock the advanced version emission.

With this technique, the user can project their Haki flow from their body without a medium.

This method allows the user to damage and/or repel their target without making direct contact or using brute force.

As Alex was training his [Armament Haki] he had to go with the flow of how it handled as he thinks back to the words of Hyogoro, 'According to Hyogoro, to perform the Emission technique, the Haki user must transfer all Haki from across their body to their hands, channeling excess Haki from around one's body through one's fists, but they must let the Haki flow to it rather than forcing it.'

The following months of Alex's training seem to have helped me greatly as he can now use Haki although basic will be useful by this world standards to even have all three is a great achievement under a year as well.

The time of a new year was soon starting as Alex's training for a year is almost complete just as Rayleigh has promised…

~Alex POV~

"Bam!"

"Bam! Bam!"

"Bam! Bam! Bam!"

I see that my training here has been really fruitful for me by a large margin.

Smiling at this I know this will be the final day before a new year to appear is happening in the One-Piece world was going to occur…

One Year…

Stopping my training I look up at the morning summer sky as I remanence the hardship of training here and my sparring partners, "One year… I have been in this world for a whole year and lived to tell the tale… Ha ha ha ha!!"

Ha ha ha ha!!!

Oh man I thought I was going to die here on different occasions here in this world but I survived with my knowledge and my new strength.

I'm really glad that I got a body refinement pill making me have the same physical strength as Yamcha and become stronger for it.

Shaking my head for a bit I used my [Diamagnetic Field] around myself to make me fly around the island using a magnetic field as I repel outside forces and fly around the place.

Looking at Rusukaina island I think I'm going to miss this place…

As I was looking at the island, I noticed that Rayleigh-sensei was coming towards the shore of they might as well meet him ahead.

Flying towards the Dark King I landed myself on the land as Rayleigh got up and quickly dried himself up as he greeted me, "Ha ha ha ha! Hello again Alex it's a p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e to meet you I came back to inform you about the training time has expired."

Smiling towards the Dark King I bowed my head to him as thanks for helping me, "Yes I know Rayleigh-sensei but I thank you for your time teaching me the ways of Haki for this single year you have my eternal thanks."

He laughed at my response, but it was thanks to him that I got strong, to begin with.

As Rayleigh was done talking, he asked me what I plan to do, "Now then young man what are your goals now that you have trained in the arts of Haki? You're planning on heading to the New World?"

No way.

Shaking my head, no towards him I reply my answer to him with an embarrassed smile, "No way. At least not yet anyway I do plan to head there in the future possibly but I want to see the islands of Paradise first before I do anything."

Also, go to Thriller Bark to get that legendary blade Shusui.

Shusui is one of the 21 Great Grade swords and a Black Sword/Blade.

Although I am confident in my fighting skills it doesn't help but get a fighting style in the one-piece world as, well right?

I mean a majority of people either go for sword training, martial arts, or devil fruit training to be strong or all above.

And I finished my year of training here in this world a few months back.

Flash Back no Jutsu~

While I was training my Haki I received a notification from the system as I completed my original purpose of surviving in this world as I see the [Pure Gold Ring] on my finger.

Smiling at this I already knew what the [Pure Gold] does and I can have the free time I need to train in this world.

[Pure Gold] is capable of halting the aging of anyone close to it, effectively making them immortal, and the stop in aging also means the stop of any sickness spreading in the body even a sliver of it has an equal amount of power.

That was when I saw a notification of three new worlds, I can travel neat.

[Travel: New worlds available Re: Zero, Danganronpa, and Hunter X Hunter.]

Looking at my choices they are certainly interesting to visit that is for sure but I won't dwell much for now as I look at the ring.

As I look at this ring, I say to myself in pure joy, "Alright now with this ring I have essentially become immortal of sorts nice… my precious…"

I was so engrossed with the ring that I was hit from behind by a wild animal wait-

Good times…

Shaking my head as I was brought to reality I started to fly up in the air as I told Rayleigh, "Yeah I think it's time we part ways for now and tell the Boa sisters for being great sparring partners!"

My relationship with them is still the same somewhat with Hanc.o.c.k hating me but her sisters seem to get the idea I wasn't someone to offend but we were more like acquaintances really at the end.

Boa Hanc.o.c.k seems to bear my existence after the defeats she was handed the same with me going 'easy' on them not using my Devil Fruit abilities at them how else I'm going to get stronger.

But our relationship status is only as acquaintances with Hanc.o.c.k and her sisters, but they got stronger that is for sure.

I may like her if she changes her tune but till then not a love interest.

As I was floating up in the sky, I summon up my lighting cloud as a ride as I tell Rayleigh in a grateful tone, "Thank you for everything Rayleigh I will see you around Rayleigh-sensei farewell for now."

With that I flee up to the sky looking high above the clouds as I view the islands as I say to myself in a happy tone, "Alright then its time for me to get that sword and Six Powers from CP 9 time to start traveling."
