Episode 236- Maybe I should consider locking you up

Euria didn't give the Crown Prince any attention and instead focused on a gloomy day. She didn't expect any response from him when she said that. In fact, she would've been scared if he responded to her.

"I don't know…" There was a heaviness in his voice as he walked to the coffee table and sat opposite of her. 

Euria furrowed her eyebrows. She blinked before turning to the Crown Prince who was wearing a heavy expression. This expression slightly confused her so she repeated his words,

"You don't know?" she asked. 

Crown Prince Nexiel did everything to avoid her eyes and nodded belatedly, "I don't know." There was a few seconds of silence before his hand reached for his heart. His hand clutched his heart slowly as if he wanted to take it out and present it to her for inspection, 

"When I look at you, this hurts."

Euria's entire face turned ugly as her hands began trembling from underneath the table. She was wrong. She was wrong from the start. She thought that they were remaking life. She thought that everything had started over from scratch, but she was wrong, and she now realized it. 

She wasn't re-living their first life, but she had gone back in time. She never thought of those two as different concepts until now. If she had been remaking her first life, there was no way the Crown Prince would feel any emotions when he looked at her. There was no way he could feel anything towards a 'stranger'. But if she had reversed time. It was possible that he would feel familiar with her. Because they had lived this life already, because he had experienced it already, he felt familiar with her even though he had no memories of her. And this would explain why he had feelings towards her. 

Euria pursed her lips and as she watched the Crown Prince's ever-changing expressions. 

"It has always been like this. Even 7 years ago. My heart ached so much when we first bumped into each other when I saw your face. It was a pain that I've never felt before, a pain I've never experienced. It was excruciating and horrible." His hand clenched as he hit his heart for Euria to see. 

"Even now. When you turn your back at me, this… hurts."

Euria's throat clenched as she listened to him. Though the Crown Prince didn't understand what he was talking about, Euria did. It was because it was her who had caused him this pain. It was her who caused him so much pain before time was reversed. 

Euria exhaled as her fists clenched tight. Where she walked, she caused pain upon people. Her family, and everyone around her.

'I'm sorry…' She wanted to apologize to him. She wanted to say these words out loud. But, he wouldn't understand even if she did say it.

"I feel regret. Immense regret when I look at you…" The Crown Prince said in a whisper-like tone as his eyes stared into Euria's pained eyes. 

Euria lowered her gaze immediately and gulped. Her nails dug into her palms as she tried to control her emotions. If she hadn't been reborn when time-reversed, he wouldn't have to feel this much pain. And if she wasn't here, he wouldn't have to feel this way. 

She could relate to the Crown Prince. When the Crown Prince bumped into her almost 7 years ago, she woke up. The moment she saw him, everything felt so absurdly shocking that she almost fainted. The wounds on his body made her memories come back all of a sudden and that broke her. Broke her to the point that she wanted to gouge her heart out and crush it to pieces. She too felt regret. Immense regret when she looked at him. But that was all the reason to stay at a good distance with him. 

The silence and heavy atmosphere lasted even when Duke Rodriguez came to pick the both of them up. No one spoke, not the Crown Prince, not Euria. There was only a wall of silence, a heavy wall of silence. 

Duke Rodriguez wasn't going to say anything at first, but because the atmosphere was so incredibly heavy he joked lightly. 

"What's this atmosphere, did you two fight?"

It was illegal to touch the Crown Prince, so instead, he slapped Euria hard on her back. 

-Thump =Thump -Thump

The impact of his slap echoed around the room which made it even more awkward. 

Crown Prince Nexiel furrowed his eyebrows, "Please stop touching her." He pulled on Euria's arms and brought her beside him. 

"..." Duke Rodriguez's hand was raised awkwardly as he looked at Euria and the Crown Prince. He scratched his head confused at the ample closeness between the two when a light bulb lit up inside his head!

"Ah! Is this a lovers spat?" The moment he said that, however, the expression on the Crown Prince's face, as well as Euria's, darkened immensely. 

Euria stared at Duke Rodriguez murderously while the Crown Prince's eyes narrowed down dangerously at Duke Rodriguez as if the both of them didn't like what he just said. 

"... Oh. I apologize." Duke Rodriguez titled his head as apologized. His voice was playful and insincere because Euria and Crown Prince Nexiel did not deny his statement. 

Naturally, the corner of Euria's lips twitched. She didn't understand why Duke Rodriguez was looking at her like this and decided to leave to head to the carriage herself. Well, The Crown Prince also followed, leaving only Duke Rodriguez in the room. 

The two walking in unison made Duke Rodriguez raise a brow. 'Leaving together leaves more misunderstandings than clearing them, kids.' He chuckled hard as he thought of Euria's and Crown Prince Nexiel's cute lover spat when he froze suddenly.

'... Lovers spat?' He repeated in his head. Suddenly Moniqua and Levis's faces popped out like a cloud. In this cloud, Moniqua was chucking but Levis… Levis…

A murderous aura exploded like crazy around Levis's head, sending Duke Rodriguez shivers down his spine even though this was his imagination!

'No! No! No! I must stop this before it develops any further!' He immediately rushed out and ran towards Euria's and the Crown Prince's direction!

Euria rolled her eyes as she leaned back against the carriage. No, she wasn't rolling her eyes at Crown Prince Nexiel who had sat next to her, but at Duke Rodriguez who was sitting opposite of her and watching her every move. 

Because of Duke Rodriguez, the atmosphere around Crown Prince Nexiel and herself wasn't awkward anymore. Instead, they both directed their attention at Duke Rodriguez who was an unwelcome guest. 

"Are you going to stare at me forever?" In the end, Euria couldn't take it anymore and questioned Duke Rodriguez. 

"...Yes." Duke Rodriguez nodded. His face was firm and he was serious. Euria's forehead twitched and she stood up. She walked up to him as she cracked her fists in front of Duke Rodriguez.

Duke Rodriguez blinked.

"AH!"

Duke Rodriguez landed on his butt and a loud bang of the carriage door closing could be heard after that. 

"Wha…. What?" Duke Rodriguez was speechless. How did he end up with his butt planted on the ground?

The soldiers surrounding the carriage saw the entirety of what happened and looked at Duke Rodriguez in speechlessness.

"... Miss Euria…" Crown Prince Nexiel gulped as he watched Euria walk back as nothing happened. She sat at the spot Duke Rodriguez sat before he had been forcefully removed by Euria. And as for how he was removed. 

Crown Prince Nexiel gulped again. 

Everything happened in 5 mere seconds. Euria walked to Duke Rodriguez, picked him up with one hand, and threw him outside the carriage. She was able to pick Duke Rodriguez up, something he would never be able to do, especially with one hand. Who was Duke Rodriguez? Duke Rodriguez was a macho man who weighed at least 150kg.

He gulped for the third time and noted one thing. And that was to never make the little 10-year-old girl in front of him mad. He glanced at his thin body and back to her body that was even more thin and gulped his dry throat loudly again. The Crown Prince's reaction ever since Duke Rodriguez left made Euria frown. 

Hic-

He began hiccuping. 

"..."

Hic-

"..." Euria stared at him speechlessly. She pursed her lips before turning the other way. Her lips trembled and she couldn't help it anymore and broke out laughing. 

"Hahaha." Her sweet voice rolled out of her throat smoothly and echoed inside the carriage. She only stopped laughing once Crown Prince Nexiel stopped hiccuping and began to laugh with her. 

"Don't you know that laughing at a Royalty is a crime?" He said in between his laughter. 

Euria rubbed her teary eyes and nodded, "Will you execute me, Your Highness, Crown Prince."

Crown Prince Nexiel grinned as he shook his head, "Maybe I should consider locking you up?"
