My Destined Werewolf Mate

Petrified, covered in a cold sweat, the lady retreated a few steps back from Zeus while he grumbled out aloud reverberating the entire place. Fidgeting anxiously, she knelt before him, bowing her head and muttering in a shaky tone, "pa-pardon me, Master... Pardon my ill behavior...But, please...spare my life...Don't kill me, Master. You...You are our alpha, you should be the one protecting us... Please...don't kill me..."

"Only on one condition," Growling in a scarry dark voice, he firmly took a step forward towards her where she was kneeling, trembling in fear and folding her arms. "I can only spare your life if you do as I say..."

"I will! I will do it, Master...I will follow your every command, Master..."

"Good for you. Then...find me a spiritual ruby stone and red were-fox fur soon as possible." He commanded to her in a deep low pitch.

"Spiritual ru...ruby?" Her voice stuttered as she raised her chin from the ground, staring straight into his elegant face, looking all stiff. "Master, I...I can find you red were-fox fur as sooner as possible...but...where would I find our divine ruby stone? Only...Only a few celestial alphas among us possessed such a rare powerful gemstone... Where would I find it--"

Rising his arm a bit higher he took a step closer to her and immediately in the blink of a second, his silver-brown unique fur coated his entire arm and razor-sharp large claws emerged out from his nails. 

"Then...should I kill you right now?" Flexing his claws, he threatened her in a cold, rugged tone.

Swirling her pupils in fear, she started sobbing bitterly, "Master...I...I have saved your life from wolfsbane that night... Please... don't be so heartless towards your people..." 

"Did you think I won't realize why you are declining my command, Miss Violet? Yes...what you have assumed is true...I will give it to Eva which will protect her life even if something happens to me... And I know, only you can bring such a rare thing to me..." His deep alpha dominant eyes sparkled viciously, as he glared at her.

"If...If you had asked the stone for yourself...I would have given it to you by any means, Master...but..." Wondering inside her mind, while twitching her eyebrows she gulped her saliva before reciprocating him in a broken pitch, "Master, you need the stone yourself more than anyone...After getting such a rare gem, how could you just give it to someone else?"

"Eva is not someone else, she is my everything!" Staring straight deep down her eyes, he proclaimed in a shuddering thick voice. "I have sworn an oath that I will protect her with all my might...I know it well, wolves will try to harm her in every possible way just like what they did to her family...And, I won't let it happen to the woman I will love till my end. Even if something happens to me, the ruby will save her life from those malicious attacks and that's all that I wish for. I don't care whoever she is or..even if she abandons me someday but no matter what happens, I won't abandon her not even after my death..." Clenching his other arm, he muttered with a painful expression, taking a deep breath.

"How...How did that human wench bewitch our Master? He is not even thinking about himself just once! All he cares about is her damn life... Darn it! He has lost his senses! I can't even object to his command even though it's wrong!" She was immersed in her worried thoughts, clenching her fist laid upon her lap.

"So, will you fulfill my command or you are ready to lose your life?" His silver fur sparkled with the radiance the starry sky was reflecting inside through the door. 

"I...I will do it, master..." Frowning her face with a displeased gesture, unwillingly she nodded her head bowing down her gaze towards the ground. "Please spare me some time for finding such a precious treasure--"

"Alright. You have time till the next full moon." Before she could wrap up her sentence, Zeus interrupted in a rigid voice looking all stern and composed.

"Fu-Full moon? But...Master...I won't be able to find it in such a small period..." 

"If you can't do it, then be prepared to embrace death." Holding a vicious dark smirk on his face, his eyes returned to their normal black color along with the claws and silver-brown fur disappearing from his arm transforming into his usual normal human form. "But, if you want to live...zip up your runny mouth and do it as I say. I hope...you won't disappoint me, Miss Violet." Stomping his feet hard on the ground, he firmly walked out of the cottage holding a stiff, tall, and gallant posture. 

As soon as he marched outside, Violet raised her swirled eyeballs from the ground, and immediately the pupils obtained the deep blue illuminant transformation from her usual black color. Snarling and gnashing her teeth in anger, she stared sharply at the door before mumbling on her own, "no matter what happens... I won't hand the Ruby ever to that vile human wench!! If...If anyone deserves to possess such a treasure...it must be our Master... I won't let her endanger our Master's life like this... I must do something..." Her voice sounded hoarse, reverberating the entire surrounding in a dark, intense note.

Walking straight inside the Romano Mansion humming a mellow tone on his own, Czar had a small amicable smile on his face while he was headed straight towards his room. He was still amused by Clara's brutal honesty which was quite a rare quality that a modern woman ever possesses. 

"Czar."

A deep, rugged voice from behind halted his motion as he paused before strolling upstairs. The voice was extremely familiar and it was no one other than Antonio, his father who was standing magnificently in the middle of the living room, summoning him from the back.

His call somehow soured his mellow mood as he stopped whistling and taking a deep sigh, turned behind facing him upfront. Both of them stared at each other for a couple of seconds and slowly but steadily, Czar walked a few steps closer to him.

"What a glorious day to be alive...that my father is summoning me instead of Zeus? Dad, is your eyesight getting old? I am Czar, not your eldest but the younger son." Tantalizing him with a sly expression, he smirked rolling his pupils wider.

"Come here and have a seat." Indicating his slender finger towards the velvet couch on the room, he sounded frigid as ice at his response.

Unwillingly stomping his footsteps on the floor, Czar walked towards the couch where Antonio grabbed a seat first. Skeptical of his behavior, Czar took his seat next to him keeping a bit of distance between them.

"Dad, your gestures seem suspicious today. Usually, you have always asked your elder son to accompany you in a drink or discussion...but why are you suddenly concerned about me today?" Fretting his brow ridge, he sharply inquired.

"It's true." His voice sounded much thicker than usual as he took out a deep sigh. "I have never treated you kindly for even once the way...I have treated Zeus. Did it...hurt your feelings?" Softly turning his sad deep gaze towards him, he asserted.

Suddenly, his heart ached a little in pain as immediately enough he averted his glance away from him trying hard to avoid eye contact. "No...No, why would it hurt me? I...I was always an outsider in this mansion from the beginning... I was well aware of my position--"

"No matter what anyone proclaims, you are and you always will be my youngest son, Czar. You bear my blood in your veins... And...somehow, I can still find Madonna in you whom I have lost...so long ago... Your deep big eyes...has always revived her memories in my heart. After all...I am living a life filled with regrets..." His almond-shaped brown, profound eyes seemed to glisten with tears as he was talking down the memory lane, holding a heavy heart. 

Czar stayed all numb, frozen in a daze unable to answer him a single word for a while. His heart was tearing apart into pieces and trying hard to withstand his deepest grief, he murmured in a husky tone, "even if you are living a life of regret...it won't change the miseries and despairs...I...I had to bore all these years... I...I still couldn't leave you just because of that promise, dad...Or else, I would have left long ago..." His voice grew heavier implementing the burden of his emotions. 

"Czar, I am...I am sorry..."

"Anyways, let's get straight to the point, dad." He interrupted his sentence in an enraged tone glaring straight into his eyes. "What business you have with me?"

Momentarily, he stayed silent, and taking a deep huff of breath out, he muttered, "you...you need to disclose everything regarding that human maiden who has enchanted Zeus." 

"Why? I...I am indeed getting a bad feeling about it." He wondered inside, frowning his thick eyebrows.
