My Destined Werewolf Mate

Zeus and Ivory were walking beside each other through the giant hallway. Both of them had a stern expression written over their faces. Ivory while strolling silently, peeked at Zeus once and sighed a bit.

"Zeus, I have agreed to help you with this but don't think I am helping that human lady. I still despise humans too much." She murmured.​​

He nodded his head a little and glanced at her. "I know it quite well, and I am thankful that you agreed to help me with this." He retaliated.

Ivory pouted her face with his answer. "You know I wouldn't have been so nosy if she was a beast just like us. But I absolutely can't let you interfere with an ignorant and strange human by jeopardizing your everything. Zeus, you have already suffered enough to gain this dominancy you have today. As you have promised me, once we are done with the plan, refrain away from her. Or else, I will do everything to forbear her from you." She sounded a little hoarse.

Zeus didn't utter anything and chose to be silent while walking along with her.

"Ahhh, you two are together here? What a surprise!"

Both of them flinched with the sudden cheeky voice and saw Czar was standing in front of them. He had an impish smirk on his face and slowly came walking towards them.

Ivory greeted him with a mellow grin before speaking, "it's been a long time Czar. How have you been?"

"Of course, sexy and perfect as always." Czar winked at her with a cheeky smirk. "But when did you come back from the UK? Wow, I never thought you will come back to Rome ever again. And honestly, you look like an artistic beauty now." He was nonchalantly blabbering.

Ivory smiled with his response and gently patted his shoulder. "I guess you are still the same as before. I was quite eager to return back here all this time and finally, I am able to do that." She responded.

Czar quickly took a glance at Zeus and he was already glaring at him with an agitated look. He seemed amused by his stiffness and instantly wanted to tease him a little.

"It's so magnificent to watch two artistic alphas walking beside each other. You guys are indeed a match made in heaven, undoubtedly." He tried to tease them with a cryptic grin. "But since nowadays, my big alpha brother's frozen heart seems to be a little warm for a human damsel! It seems really mysterious." He continued.

Zeus rolled his eyes in annoyance and stared at him for a while. "Don't you have other business apart from observing me?" He howled.

Ivory lowered her gaze and made a long face. She seemed a little offended with Czar's declaration but desperately tried to hide it. "I know, I have heard about all this," she answered.

Czar raised his left eyebrow and approached closer to her. "Well, do you still like my brother, Ivory? But I can't blame you though, my big brother acts as a chick magnet. So almost every day someone gets a crush on him." He murmured.

She raised up her chin and stared at Czar with a smirk. "You know it well, my love for your brother has been always honest and pure. It doesn't matter if we end up together or not, but I can absolutely sacrifice anything for his sake. That's what loyalty implies for animals like us." Her voice sounded wistful with a gloomy smile on her face.

"If you are done pestering us, you can leave now." Zeus groaned at him and started walking past by him. Ivory tilted her head a little bit and followed after him.

"Ivory, don't let him lose his heart for that human lass. After all, they are just playthings to us, but not meant for love." Czar firmly answered with a deep voice without even turning back to look at them.

Zeus kept marching forward with an infuriated gaze in his dark eyes. He was trying to control his wrath around her. Ivory halted with his declaration and turned back to peek a glance at him.

"I will make sure, Zeus never gets hurt due to that peculiar woman." She thought silently while walking away.

As both of them were heading towards outside, suddenly his feet stopped with sight and he continued gawking at it. Ivory seemed a bit surprised with his gesture and looked forward.

A beautiful, angelic damsel was walking towards them at a slow pace. But her eyes were fixated on Zeus and the same for him too. Both were lost in each other's gaze from afar.

Ivory was startled to notice his absurd expression and sneered. "Woah, I didn't know, Zeus can look at a woman with such intense too... Then, it must be that lady..." She anticipated and started glaring at her.

Eva continued walking towards them while peeking cryptically at Ivory. She seemed a bit agitated to watch him coming along with another woman and lowered her eyes. Zeus was staring at her intensively for a while, but with the sudden regain of senses, he averted his gaze away from her too.

But, as she came closer to them, Ivory sniffed her nose and frowned her eyebrows. With rolled-up eyes she glanced at her in wonder. Eva gently bowed her head a little to greet them and crossed by them at a slow pace.

Ivory sniffed her nose quite hard and turned back to observe her more vividly. She was departing away slowly.

"Wa-Was it her smell? Was she the one you were talking about?" She turned her head and immediately inquired him.

"Yes." An ice-cold response came back from Zeus who was still standing still with a saddened gaze in his eyes.

Ivory stomped her feet in agitation and turned behind again. "How can a human emit such a stronger smell? It...It's even different from that of omegas!" She growled.

"Even I am stunned with this fact. Her unusual scent matches with my grandma, but she was an alpha... How can a mere human like her possess something so unusual?" He replied with a heavy resonance.

Ivory sighed deeply and turned her eyes towards him. "I am certainly sure, she isn't a normal human! I think she might be a cursed soul or a possessed one..." She sounded mystic.

"Cursed?" Zeus exclaimed.
