The next day...

Zeus, being dressed up in his formal black suit, quietly walked out of the mansion to walk into his car as he was about to leave for the office. But as he walked outside, he was startled to notice Ivory already standing outside the mansion with a blissful smile on her face.​​

He straightly walked towards her and reciprocated a gentle smile. "What are you doing outside? Why didn't you go in?" He inquired.

"I am in a bit hurry today. But as I had promised you, here." She opened up her small purse and took out a pendant that had a shinning bright black gem attached to it. "Here, your magical hematite. Just as you wanted." She murmured.

Zeus stared at the shimmering black stone and quietly grabbed it by his hand. "How did you actually find it so soon?" He frowned his eyebrows while asking.

She smirked at his question and leaned her face closer to him. "I can even give you my life right away if you ever ask me to do. It's just a small stone and most importantly, I can do anything for you." She mumbled.

Zeus lowered his gaze and tried to evoke an artificial smile in her response. Although, he felt a bit of pity for her as she has been always honest in her efforts when it comes to him.

She soon noticed his awkwardness and took a step back from him. "Don't fret, I was just teasing you. Well, I got this from the wizard grandma, especially for you." She answered.

"Wizard grandma? But, how did you find her here in Rome?" He was amazed.

She simpered with his question and mystically rolled her eyes wider. "She is staying in the Cansiglio forest, it's a secret!" She winked at him.

He was spellbound for a moment and again glanced at the stone. The hematite was glittering in the sunlight with a deep blue supernal radiance transmitted around from it. "Did you test it before buying? The grandma has a weird habit of conning innocent people." He shrugged.

Ivory grinned to hear his query and firmly responded, "firstly, I am not an innocent lady but a fierce she-wolf. So, she didn't dare to trick me."

Zeus stared at the stone and clenched it in his wrist. He sighed deeply and put the pendant inside his pocket.

Ivory gently stroked his arms and looked at him with tenderness. "Don't worry, trust this magical hematite. It will definitely control the mysterious scent that she has been emitting around so that further any other beast won't lurk around her. But..." She narrowed her eyes before speaking in a mystic tone, "don't forget the promise you had given me. You gotta refrain away from her matters from now on. I won't let you engage in further dangers." She continued.

Zeus reluctantly nodded his head and breathed out in a huff.

Romano Emporium Main Building:

Eva was walking inside the office with a dull face. Due to her bitter experiences on her first day, she was quite hesitant to continue working here. But... everyone becomes quite helpless when it comes to money and the pay was quite huge than any other regular companies emerging here.

Not only that, the whole night she couldn't sleep properly as her mind was unconsciously thinking of Zeus. The strange alluring smell which she had sensed in him yesterday inside the elevator had occupied her mind. With a heavy sigh, she stepped inside the elevator and turned on the button to the 17th floor.

However while stepping inside the elevator, she felt a bit terror-stricken due to the act that happened with her yesterday. She still gets goosebumps all over her body when she reminisced of the devilish gaze that the weird nasty man was implying towards her. However, she gazed around her while stepping inside but there was not a single trace of anyone.

"I think, today, everything is gonna be normal. Forget about yesterday Eva as a bad dream." She consoled herself and the elevator was about to close.

Suddenly, someone arrived and blocked the door from closing by placing his hand in between. Eva widened her eyes in surprise as the person was none other than Zeus!

He was startled too to notice her inside the elevator. With a moment of hesitation, he firmly averted his gaze from her and walked inside.

Eva was speechless to notice him standing beside her inside the elevator just like yesterday.

Most importantly, she was staring at him vividly as he looked extraordinarily sparkling with a handsome aura. With a porcelain bright skin, dazzling black Armani suit, a shining silver wolf-head brooch pinned in his chest pocket, and his wet dark black hairs properly styled with gel, he looked no less than that of a handsome prince or a showbiz top model. She even forgot to blink for a moment and her heart started throbbing real fast.

Zeus could sense her intense staring lingering at him all around and he slightly peeked at her. "For how long do you wanna stare at me like this?" He murmured.

She was terribly bashful with his sharp question and immediately lowered her gaze. "So-Sorry, sir." She uttered with a clumsy tone. "Darn it, he just caught me red-handed." She wondered and swatted her forehead in regret.

Zeus smirked to witness her panicked reaction and tried hard to control his smile. Slowly he took a peek at her and she was fidgeting anxiously.

After a moment of secretive glancing, firmly he put his hand in his pocket and took out the pendant from inside. With a deep gaze, he turned his face towards her.

"Here, wear this from now on." He whispered in a soft tone,

Eva flinched with his response and gazed at the mysterious pendant in his hand. Her eyes struck on the shining black crystal attached to it and she raised up her chin to ogle at him.

"What is this?" She inquired.

Suddenly, the elevator started shaking fiercely from inside as if a violent earthquake has hit them! Both of them were shocked and it was hard for them to withstand that jerking!

"Aaahhrrgghh!" Eva screamed in fear and was about to fall on the ground when Zeus grabbed her waist tightly to prevent her from falling down.

"What the hell is happening now?" She shrieked in fear!
