My Destined Werewolf Mate

"Absolutely it wasn't fun. I really wanted to crush you all this time." Zeus growled at him angrily with his eyes obtaining the bright red color of a dominant true alpha.

"Ohh!" Ross quietly walked closer to him and grinned with a sly eloquence. Slowly he brought his face a little closer to him and sniffed around him. "I smell, passionate jealousy." He smirked.​​

Zeus quietly glanced at Eva's house once and turned his gaze towards him. "Let's go somewhere quiet to talk. She can hear us here." He rumbled.

Soon enough, both of them started running fiercely with their robust wolf legs. Zeus, as the superstrong dominant alpha, easily beat him in racing by taking huge leaps to reach the vast empty soccer field nearby.

Ross tried to cope up with him in running but he was easily beaten. He glared at him while gritting his teeth and breathed out in a huff.

Zeus had a proud smirk on his face and turned around towards him. "You can't beat me with a simple running spree, and how can you even think of competing with me?" He muttered.

He sulked with his response and tried to divert the topic. "What do you wanna talk to me?" inquired.

Immediately the small smile vanished from his face and it darkened profusely. "Why did you approach Eva?" He sounded extremely intense.

"Pffftt!" He laughed out aloud with his query and glanced at him. "You really wanted to talk about this? And who are you to ask me about this?" He reverted his answer.

Zeus immediately reached out to him in the flash of a second and firmly grabbed his collar with his sturdy hands. "A werewolf always approaches a human with ulterior motives, either to devour them or to simply toy with them! So which one are you?" He clenched his grasp while asking.

The hands of the powerful alpha were strong enough to choke his breath. He instantly started struggling to free himself from his grasp while responding, "based on your assumptions you can't attack any werewolf! Besides, you aren't my leader!" He growled fiercely while struggling to unleash the grip.

After a moment of fiery choke, slowly he released his grasp and stared at him with his blazing red eyes. "Exactly! You aren't from my pack, so note it down, I can omit the existence of a mere beta with just a flick of my finger. So, if you want to live, don't dare to mess with Eva." A cold warning was declared by him.

"Damn, do you own that girl? Who is she to you? Why are you getting so hyped up about her?" Ross grumbled at him infuriatingly.

All of a sudden, Zeus became awfully quiet with the question. "He is right thou, who am I to her? Why do I get so freaked out when anything comes to her?" His mind was struck with these thoughts and abruptly he turned his face away.

"I am no one, but I can't let any werewolf kill innocent living beings. It forbids our rules of existence," he tried to cope up with an excuse.

Ross smirked with his nonchalant excuse and sighed again. Slowly he took a step from him and cryptically answered, "we should respect each other's existence as we both are animals. And, I just wanted to help the girl to find her money bag, that's all." He murmured and quietly stared at Zeus. "As you are no one to her, don't be so overly possessive of her. Just following a mere human like this is termed as stalking in this world."

He shrugged with his response and scratched his neck with a feeling of uneasiness. "Even though I am no one to her, but... I don't want her to get hurt. It's all my wish and that's why I chose to follow her! Who are you to defy my intentions?" He sounded quite furious.

Ross shrugged with his answer and gradually his eye color changed to normal. "As a dominant alpha of your pack, you must have many responsibilities to look after. Don't waste your time on a mere human as we will always belong to different worlds. That's how our fate has been always decided.

And as far as me, I just wanted to have a chit chat with her while walking her home. You don't have to unnecessarily doubt on everyone's intentions." He conveyed his words and turned behind to leave.

Zeus stood all frozen for a while as his heart was somehow aching! No matter how hard he tries to run away from reality but their ultimate truth of existence always stands between him and Eva as the greatest barrier. They both were existing in the world entirely different from each other in every aspect, and this realization always pains his cold heart...

As Ross was already walking away, Zeus turned his grimace towards him and glared. "But if you ever dare to lay a single scratch on her, I will terminate your existence from this world. Remember my words." He snarled at him with a screeching resonance.

Ross continued walking away and didn't look back at him. With a sly grin, he murmured, "what a nosy overprotective partner. Still, don't have the guts to admit his own feelings, punk!"

Eva took a shower after reaching home and slowly stepped out of the restroom wearing her bathrobe. She had used a peach flavored shampoo as it was her favorite fruit. With a tired pace, she straightly headed towards the bed.

While lying over the bed, she was playing with her wet hair threads and gazed at the night sky with a blank stare. Unknowingly, she sniffed around her hair and smiled a bit in pleasance.

The crescent moon was shining brightly on the night sky as she gawked her eyes at it. "I wonder... if he actually wanted to kiss me in the elevator... He is so weird, so mysterious..." She was mumbling nonchalantly.

"But...he...smelled like peach too... My favorite smell..." Suddenly she blurted out with a heavy sigh while looking at the moon.
