"NOOO! PLEASE! WAKE UP!" 

All helpless, doomed with fear and anguish, Eva shrieked out in panic. She was consistently tapping his blood-smeared jowls with his face turning out completely pale as he lost his consciousness, resting his head on her lap.

TAP! TAP! TAP!

All of a sudden, she heard giant footsteps approaching her closer to her in the dark. Trembling in fear, with petrified small eyes, she raised her chin up to look at the figure marching towards her.

To her surprise, it was Czar! Dressed up in a black formal suit, he walked straight away close to her like a model as his tall, charming, elegant apearance looked quite shimmering in moonlit.

But like regular days, he didn't seem to be in a light-hearted mood. He seemed quite serious, holding a frown face and gazing intensively at collapsed Zeus.

Watching him marching closer, all of a sudden, a small ray of hope lit inside her terror-stricken heart. Grabbing Zeus's broad shoulder with her trembling hands, she started weeping bitterly, looking at Czar.

"Please...help him...He...He is...gravely injured... Please help him, I beg you." Her teary voice choked with pain, as he pleaded before him, whimpering hard.

Czar stood still for a few moments as if he was being hysteric with the horrifying situation. Ross was lying down dead on the ground, torn apart by the gut and covered in a pool of blood. He took a slight glance at him and shifted his face towards Eva.

"Why is it so true... whenever he immerses himself in a trouble, it's always related to you?" Czar grumbled at her, lowering his voice deeper. From his gestures, he looked quite agitated.

Eva couldn't oppose his accusation as indeed she has caused nothing but only serious trouble for him. And this time...it seriously impaired his own life!

Lowering her head, sobbing in guilt, she nodded her head as warm tears dripped down from the corner of her deep brown eyes.

"You are right... It's all because of me... It's always because of me... He always engages in trouble trying to save me out... I must be the one who suffers.. But instead of me...always...he endangers himself. I am the one who is responsible for his grave injury today. He chose to protect me and look...look what happened...hic..." She was quivering in a rugged voice, mourning hard, as she softly stroked his blood shredded cold pale cheeks.

Slowly, Czar knelt down before them and observed him thoroughly by bringing his face much closer to him. Indeed, he was pathetically attacked which was being prominent from his deep, scary wounds.

"How can this dumb alpha toss away his own life so carelessly for saving such a mere human? Has he gone nuts? Such a naive fool!" He grumbled on his own, looking at the severely injured portion of his abdomen from the attack of sharp claws.

"We shouldn't waste much time here. He is bleeding profusely! We gotta take him to the hospital! We have to hurry up!" Eva sounded very intense as well as terrified.

Immediately, Czar shifted his glare towards her and stared intensively for a few seconds. From his gaze, it seemed that he must have been wondering about some serious issues.

"You... You saw everything today, didn't you?" His voice note resounded very darkly.

She flinched for a second to hear such an absurd question from him and felt a bit scared. Slowly, she gulped her saliva and tried to act all composed before him.

"You can ask me whatever you want later... But for now, we must hurry up to the hospital. He needs help now--"

"As far I can assume, you have seen the hidden truth of our existence, didn't you?" He seemed very impatient while leaning his dubious face closer to her.

"Is your interrogations important now than someone's life?" Unable to get a hold of her anxiety, furiously she yelled at him. "Can't you see how severely he is injured! Can't you see he needs help now or else..." She couldn't complete her words as she started whimpering in panic again.

For a few seconds, he continued staring at her intensely and took a deep breath out. "Alright, I will deal with you later. But do remember it little duckling, you won't get away from me after knowing so much about us! You might have to pay a hefty price!" His threat sounded quite vicious as he rolled his eyes devilishly at her.

Slowly, both of them initiated to raise Zeus up from the ground. He was completely motionless and Czar tried to hold him tight by his waist and putting his arms to wrap on his shoulder as support. He tried to drag him somewhere else.

"We must take him to the hospital. There he can--"

"No!" Czar firmly interrupted her sentence in a coarse voice, glaring at her intensely. "Hospital is for humans. It is not the place for monsters like us. I am taking him home." He further continued.

Eva standing all numb and baffled, couldn't oppose his firm declaration. She was fidgeting in despair, looking at unconscious droopy Zeus who appeared extremely vulnerable in that state.

"O-Okay... I won't stop you. But...please...take me with you." In a teary noise, she pleaded before him.

"What? Are you crazy?" His irked reaction showed that he looked much agitated with her proposal and rolled his dark dubious eyes mystically.

"It's all happened because of me. He is in such a horrible state just because of me... So... please, please let me stay beside him. I want to stay beside him--"

"Do you even realize what will happen to you if you ever dare to enter our mansion?" He intervened her sentence, groaning at her in anger. "Have you ever heard alone, helpless, fragile lamb entering inside a pack of wolves? It will never enter because...he is well aware, what can happen to his life if he dares to commit such stupidity."

"I don't care!" Eva declaimed firmly, bawling her eyes out in fear. "Please...Just let me stay beside him please!" She whimpered.
